A proud holder of the David Bellamy Silver Award for Conservation the park is superbly situated for exploring the numerous attractions of the area such as the world famous Eden Project.

Fantastic facilities ensure there's something to suit everyone – from swimming and children's clubs to sports and entertainment. Or for the ultimate in relaxation spoil yourself with a sauna, holistic massage treatment or work out in the new mini gym.

Waterside cabin was really nice good location with views of Lake and hot tub was amazing , near to beaches and local villages definitely need a car though to explore, the only downside was price of food in on site pub/restaurant a bit pricey for families

Made an excellent base for the group to go around Cornwall to ring church bells
Date of stay: 22nd September 2017
Accommodation type: Birchwood
I won't be coming again not in September no where to park when out and about shame really as I love Cornwall
We used it as a base for touring
Better than we expected.
It was very nice place to stay for a quiet peace holiday
Would recommend for families.
Did not use the on-site restaurant. Bought our own food to cook or warm in the microwave or oven.
My husband and I had a great off peak break. Staff were friendly and helpful and the villa was lovely. Our only regret was that we didn't get a chance to go fishing while we were there, but the pitch and put course was good and there were plenty of places to visit in the neighbourhood.
The pub /restaurant was a bit expensive for families, maybe better deals should be available, the waterside cabin with hot tub was amazing and we would
definitely come back just for that
Excellent value for money holiday, will be booking again.
Tintagel Castle is one of the most iconic landmarks in Cornwall and is an excellent place for a family day out. Situated on the stunning Cornish Coast the Castle has a mystical and magical presence and is steeped in historical importance. Indeed the Legend of King Arthur was born right here. The Castle and grounds also provide a home for many species of wildlife as well as some amazing flora and fauna. The site also has a small visitor's centre with souvenir shop and a wonderful Beach Café.
The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples. From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction. All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe. Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit. Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).
Trethrone Leisure Park in Cornwall is a popular choice for a family day out and offers an excellent programme of activities for children all year round. The park has a farm area where younger kids will love feeding the lambs and other friendly animals. Pony rides, a large play area, ball pool; trampolines and crazy golf are also available.
Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre offers a day full of action and adventure for all the family come rain or shine. If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.
