Surrounded by beautiful woodland in the heart of the Rempstone Estate, and with amazing views all the way to Poole Harbour and Studland Beach, Burnbake Forest Lodges is a great base from which to explore Dorset's stunning coastline, glorious countryside and its many visitor attractions.

The park is within easy travelling distance of Bournemouth, Swanage and Tolpuddle -and it's next door to an adrenaline pumping high rope centre. There's a children's play area, a shop and launderette as well as a multitude of paths and cycle routes right on the doorstep. The market town of Wareham with its shops, bars and restaurants is just five miles away.

These two and three bedroom lodges are all brand new and beautifully designed with their own private outdoor hot tubs. Forest Lodge 3 is super stylish; it has a wood burning stove, a bath with overhead shower and three bedrooms - one double, one twin and one with bunk beds - to comfortably accommodate six people.

The beaches at Poole and Christchurch are sandy, family friendly and offer loads of water sports. Find out how cider is made at the Mill House Cider Museum in Owermoigne (and of course, there are plenty of samples to taste!)

This is our third holiday staying in a 'forest lodge', and by far the best one we have stayed in. The lodge was comfortable and a good size. We loved the hot tub; and eating on the veranda, right next to the trees, with the sound of the birds singing, and frequent glimpses of rabbits, squirrels and even deer. Will definitely return!

The lodge was lovely with lots of space and nice furnishings. We loved our free breakfast pack, was a nice touch. We can't wait to come back to Burnbake.

Lodge was lovely, but seemed unfinished. The ceilings were left as bare wood, which seemed odd in a luxury lodge. We were also disappointed to not find a DVD player. The lodge could have been cleaner, there were several cobwebs and a few dead flies left laying around.

Great lodge, grill could've been cleaned better as it smoked when we used it. Also another frying pan would've been handy as cooking a full English with one is quite challenging!

Wow, wow, wow, what a place! It was both luxurious and comfortable with everything that you could possibly need.

Needed some time to recharge our batteries and this break certainly did it. The lodge was very comfortable and the robes, slippers and toiletries added that little touch of luxury.

As it is primarily a camping site, the shop and 'cafe' facilities were very basic. We brought our own supplies, but Asda and Sainsbury do deliver, as do local takeaways! Lodges are beautiful and well stocked, and lovely little welcome pack of bread, milk, bacon, eggs, tea and coffee was great. Would definitely go again. Staff were great and very knowledgeable about surrounding area.

Lovely break in a beautiful area that we know well. Accommodation was perfect, comfortable beds, wonderful showers and well equipped. Staff very helpful and friendly. The hot tub was lovely and well looked after. Only negative is we would have preferred toilet paper and rubbish bags to be supplied rather than an unexpected food hamper. We definitely plan to go again.
Lisa
We had a brilliant holiday. Luckily the weather was kind to us, but there is a lot to see and do in the local area, so bad weather would not have spoiled it.
Daniel
All very good. Only critisism is the outside seat cushions were quite grubby and had bird poo and stains on etc..
Anthony
The second time we have stayed. Brilliant location and accommodation. Highly recommended

Beautiful location and amazing building, we had a fantastic time!
James
Had an amazing three day stay in one of the executive lodges. We all totally loved the lodge, the jacuzzi & the park itself, we will definitely be back.
Barry
Very enjoyable stay, staff helpful and friendly, lodge/hot tub superb. Shame Dorset is so far from Yorkshire has we would love to go their more often!
Amelia
Wonderful time yet again, will be rebooking for next year soon! :)
Sandra
Our daughter has special needs and finds most holiday destinations stressful and confusing. The lodge at Burnbake was perfect - well-equipped, beautifully designed and furnished and all in a peaceful, woodland setting. The lodges are carefully sited to provide privacy with enough space around them to enjoy the woodland setting. Having the beds already made-up then finding the high quality Welcome Pack in the fridge was a lovely way to begin the holiday. The hot tub was a 'first' for us and a very welcome way to relax in the evening. We look forward to returning next year.

Fun Days Out near Burnbake Forest Lodges

The perfect place to visit on a rainy day this large Sealife Centre is currently offering 2 tickets for £15.00 when you book online. Top attractions include the amazing shark tunnel, the rock pools and the otter enclosure. This year Loch Lomond Sealife Centre is also home to Cammy - the only Giant Sea Turtle in Scotland! The centre also offers visitors an educational experience with talks and hands on events taking place daily.
Monkey World - about 9 Miles
Monkey World is not only a local attraction but the work they carry out is amazing.  Rescuing and rehabilitating monkeys and assisting governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates are just some of the purposes of the centre. You get to see the primates themselves many of which have become famous from appearing on the TV show Monkey World - a documentary about this place. Open year round we think this is one of best attractions in Dorset and you even get the chance to adopt a monkey if you choose.
Kingston Maurward Gardens and Animal Park is a magical place to visit with grand gardens and plenty of animals to meet.  From goats and ponies to alpacas and pot bellied pigs this attraction is excellent value for money.  You can feel free to explore the grounds too which are especially lovely on sunny days.  You will see majestic floral displays, stone terraces, a temple and even a lake.
Dorset Teddy Bear Museum - about 18 Miles
This family orientated museum is dedicated to Teddy Bears both old and new Edward Bear and his family of people sized bears are one of the main attractions.  You can buy teddy bear gifts from the quaint shop including top notch brands.  The Steiff Teddy Bear and Merrythought bears are very popular.  Open 7 days a week all year round (except 25th and 26th December) this is a perfect all weather place to visit.
