I took my wife here for a couple of days and it was just superb. the lodge, health club and bar were all top notch and for the price we paid it was excellent value. coming back with friends next year.

A nice quiet park, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Everyhting is very clean too and the lodges are spacious and nicely furnished. Well located for some good days out. Overall a 8 out of 10!

We stayed in a bungalow at Broadland holiday village but we had stayed in one of the lodges previously. Both visits were very enjoyable and the whole site was fantastic. Staff were very helpful, gymnasium and pool were equally as good and the team very professional. We visited the bar and restaurant, again, the staff were excellent and the food and prices were very reasonable. Both the lodge and the bungalow were very well furnished and kitchens very well equiped. We have been made very welcome each time and we are making a return visit next month.

This bungalow had been recently refurbished and there was a few missing essentials like no hooks to hangs things in bathrooms and bedrooms. Needed little tables by the sofas to put your drinks on, but being picky.lovely!

Fun Days Out near Broadland Holiday Village

Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Africa Alive - about 3 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Bewilderwood - about 19 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
