Crowhurst Park Lodges Reviews

We spent the last week of the 6 weeks hols here and we all loved it. Our children 10 and 7 could run around and paly while we just relaxed in our own little garden. Highly recommended.

Our Garden Lodge was very well equipped and in a nice quite location. The bed was extremely comfortable and having a DVD was great for the evenings. The only faults were the bulbs used in the Lodge weren't very powerful so light was still dim, the floor in the bathrooms and kitchen were extremely sticky so we had to clean them and there was a slight smell to the Lodge which meant us buying some air fresheners. We would definitely come back here again as it was a perfect week of relaxation - just what we needed.

The Colorado Lodge was beautiful, very well presented and spotlessly clean. Lots of storage space and plenty of coat hangers! The view from no. 10 was great.

Relaxing holiday let down by no clubhouse/socialising provisions. Abscence of staff made us feel unwelcome and underwhelmed

Me and my family had a lovely time while we were there the problem had that there was no internet service or instruction on how to join the wifi if there was any
Gary
Stayed here for the first time but other members of our party were returning for the fourth time. Loved everything about the resort and even though we stayed in one the cheapest lodges we found it very nice. We loved it so much we want to return next year and the onsite restaurant was reasonably priced with quality ingredients and service. The pool and other facilities were also great.

We had a fantastic weekend at crowhurst the lodge was perfect we stayed in Virginia 37 the views were absolutely amazing and lovely to wake up to it was very clean and had everything you needed to get through 😁 The beds are so comfy and the lodge felt very warm and homely everything was wood was absolutely gorgeous..yes there is some wear and tear in some parts but I think that's what makes it so rustic if everything was so modern you would be scared to brush your teeth encase you stained something..the staff are so helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble..the food was nice and drinks were a lot less expensive then what we thought considering it's a holiday park. Our little one loved there swimming pool was open till 10pm so we was never restricted the weather was not great so the pool being open was great. The grounds it self is just stunning there is a lot we didn't see due to the weather but planning to go back soon. We also meet some lovely locals who own lodges here which made our holiday very welcoming. The Sunday dinner was ok wasn't the best but eadable and loads of choice and a great price it was also a nice touch that once the carvery was finished they put bowls of potatoes and Yorkshire puddings out in the bar for everyone to help them selves overall a great weekend and will definitely be coming back
Tamara

Rita
The lodge was lovely, very well presented and equipped. The grounds of the park are very peaceful and well kept. The leisure centre is an excellent facility, that is free for guests to use while they are there.
Anna
Really pleased with the park, it had everything we needed and is in a great location.
Teresa
Beautiful location and so quiet. Lodges have plenty of room and facilities were great. Food was hot and presented well.
Kealie
Holiday was great all though it rained the whole weekend we was there, so couldn't really do much we still had a great time although the only downfall to the lodge we stayed in the locks did not work on the bathroom and toilet doors.. and my son wanted to do the archery but got cancelled because of the weather
Sharon
In one word perfect.

Bodiam Castle - about 7 Miles
Bodiam Castle (National Trust) was built in 1385 and much of the exterior of the castle is still in tact although most of the interior was destroyed during the Civil War. The castle and grounds are a popular attraction in Sussex and have a children's activity area and a year round events programme including Bonfire night firework displays and Halloween spooky pumpkin parades. On selected date's visitor's cam meet real castle characters and get an insight into castle life.
Fort Fun and Rocky's - about 11 Miles
The Fort Fun family theme park has something for everyone and makes a memorable day out in Eastbourne.  It's also great value for money and you can currently save money on your tickets by booking online.  Both indoor and outdoor activities make this a good choice rain or shine.  Some of the highlights include the brand new outdoor Super Splash Aquaslide Park.  Indoors, Rocky's Adventure Land is sure to impress with a massive soft play area, sky high aerial runway and Indiana's Ravine.
Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest is another very popular attraction and is great for families as there is loads of open space for children to run around. Bedgebury is home to the beautiful National Pinetum and a further 2000 acres of forest as well as an excellent adventure play trail. Families can explore the site via the miles cycling routes and for the more experienced rider there are also 12 km of mountain biking tracks. The specially designed play area features a butterfly climbing wall, a spider's web, a ship wreck and tree stump nest tunnels. Other activities include Go Ape aerial ropes and a brand new zip wire course.
Imagine Playcentre - about 21 Miles
Great Kent attraction and actually the biggest play centre in Kent.  From babies right through to toddlers and juniors there is something to suit all ages.  For roddlers the under 5s play frame has a host of activities including a tube slide, ball pool and funny mirrors. Juniors will be attractoed to the Imagine Village where they can drive little cars on the specially designed roadway.
