Oakdene Forest Park Reviews

We had a week here in the six weeks with our 2 kids aged 5 and 2. The site is very good for families with kids as lots for them to do. The outdoor pools were shallow and good for them to paddle in when the weather was nice. The indoor pool got very busy when it rains. Some people were staying in caravans which did look nice but we were pleased we had chosen a lodge. lots of space and felt very safe for our toddler. A big thanks to all the staff for being so helpful. We are planning to go abroad next year but will hopefully come back some time.

As I mentioned caravan wasn't prepared for arrival in this weather condition. Sofa was covered by dog's fur. Wasn't clean properly.

The reason we would not stay again is because we had to use car to go anywhere
The park itself was very nice. Perfect is you wish to use all facilities.

Wonderful site, with lovely facilities, clean and well looked after. Friendly staff. The restaurant was good value for money, great pie!
Site is near to lots of shops and other restaurants as well as loads of activities for kids. Would highly recommend Moors Valley park and Farmer Parmers farm park

Mould in the main bathroom and the curtains were falling off.
when I went to leave I checked under the bed to ensure I had collected all of my shoes and found a bottle from the previous occupant.

I am sorry but I am unable to give a review for the following reasons. When we booked this holiday it was so we could visit an old friend of 91 who lived in the area. But she sadly passed away the week proceeding our arrival, but we still came to attend the funeral. And my wife became poorly while still on holiday. So as you can imagine we didn't use any of parks amenities. But from what I observed there is no reason why anybody shouldn't have an enjoyable holiday.

Booked 3 night stay at Oakdene, was expecting a bog standard caravan being portrayed as a lodge but we couldn't have been more wrong. It was spacious, cosy and warm. The staff were friendly and the entertainment was great for our 3 year old. Will definitely book and stay at Oakdene again.

Had a lovely stay will be booking up again next year

The caravan was. Lovely and warm especially as I had my 80yr old mother with me and she feels the cold. I'm hopefully going to bring my grandchildren Dow in the summer so we will use the facilities this time. Thank you .

We only stay here to visit family in Southampton but my children never want to leave the caravan site! They like the clean swimming pool & water slide & love eating in the restaurants

The perfect place to visit on a rainy day this large Sealife Centre is currently offering 2 tickets for £15.00 when you book online. Top attractions include the amazing shark tunnel, the rock pools and the otter enclosure. This year Loch Lomond Sealife Centre is also home to Cammy - the only Giant Sea Turtle in Scotland! The centre also offers visitors an educational experience with talks and hands on events taking place daily.
This is a really fun and memorable attraction which is suitable for day trips or short breaks.  You can buy your tickets online which will help you beat the queues especially in school holidays as well as save money.  With a whole host of attractions and thrilling rides there might not be enough time in the day!  Exciting rides include the Edge and The Cobra.  More family friendly rides for younger children include the Magic Carpet Ride and the Flying Frog.  We are sure the whole family will have fun at Paultons so check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.
See wildlife in their natural surroundings as you wander round this amazing park.  Otters, owls, foxes and badgers are just some of the species you might come across here.  This attraction is perfect for sunny days and ideal for animal lovers and families as well as couples.  Located in the Marchwood area of Southampton this is a very popular day out.
