Oakdene Forest Park Reviews

We had a week here in the six weeks with our 2 kids aged 5 and 2. The site is very good for families with kids as lots for them to do. The outdoor pools were shallow and good for them to paddle in when the weather was nice. The indoor pool got very busy when it rains. Some people were staying in caravans which did look nice but we were pleased we had chosen a lodge. lots of space and felt very safe for our toddler. A big thanks to all the staff for being so helpful. We are planning to go abroad next year but will hopefully come back some time.

Wonderful site, with lovely facilities, clean and well looked after. Friendly staff. The restaurant was good value for money, great pie!
Site is near to lots of shops and other restaurants as well as loads of activities for kids. Would highly recommend Moors Valley park and Farmer Parmers farm park

Mould in the main bathroom and the curtains were falling off.
when I went to leave I checked under the bed to ensure I had collected all of my shoes and found a bottle from the previous occupant.

I am sorry but I am unable to give a review for the following reasons. When we booked this holiday it was so we could visit an old friend of 91 who lived in the area. But she sadly passed away the week proceeding our arrival, but we still came to attend the funeral. And my wife became poorly while still on holiday. So as you can imagine we didn't use any of parks amenities. But from what I observed there is no reason why anybody shouldn't have an enjoyable holiday.

We would have been happier if our caravan didn't have neighbours with a child constantly running up and down on the laminated floor and jumping off the furniture.

Myself and my seven year old son enjoyed a late break in this beautiful setting. We spent much of the time in the pool - delightfully warm! We enjoyed the evening entertainment and a nice carvery for Sunday lunch.
