Oakdene Forest Park Reviews

We had a week here in the six weeks with our 2 kids aged 5 and 2. The site is very good for families with kids as lots for them to do. The outdoor pools were shallow and good for them to paddle in when the weather was nice. The indoor pool got very busy when it rains. Some people were staying in caravans which did look nice but we were pleased we had chosen a lodge. lots of space and felt very safe for our toddler. A big thanks to all the staff for being so helpful. We are planning to go abroad next year but will hopefully come back some time.

The caravan was lovely, really spacious and has everything you could need in the kitchen. TV is a bit small, but you don't go on holiday to watch TV!

All though dog friendly van could do with some sort of air freshners, as for forest edge really could do with a major refebishment and a descent team of cleaners and take pleasure in there work!

I do think that maybe for a four night stay in an off peak season we paid a little more than expected, but despite this, it was still a decent break

Very good. The only thing wrong was there were no garden chairs for us.
Beckie
Had a great time. The only let down was the pool was closed for a day and the slide for 3. But clean and pleasant caravan.

We had a lovely time the lodge and hot tub was lovely , only thing was the club house didn't seem like it was open we was the only guest in there on the Sunday night so no bingo etc which was a bit of a let down would definitely revisit

Lovely site. The caravan was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The whole site was very clean and tidy. Good location for dog walking in the forest. Friendly staff.

Well impressed again with oak dean but when I tried to book on line could not get a booking so went for forest edge instead, what a let down, van had not been cleaned and staff didn't seem to care, as in oak dean popped around to see if any space and the staff could not do enough to help which made the rest of our stay worth while, even though we ended with another van as shower control was broken.so all in all had a good break.
Mark

Fun Days Out near Oakdene Forest

The perfect place to visit on a rainy day this large Sealife Centre is currently offering 2 tickets for £15.00 when you book online. Top attractions include the amazing shark tunnel, the rock pools and the otter enclosure. This year Loch Lomond Sealife Centre is also home to Cammy - the only Giant Sea Turtle in Scotland! The centre also offers visitors an educational experience with talks and hands on events taking place daily.
This is a really fun and memorable attraction which is suitable for day trips or short breaks.  You can buy your tickets online which will help you beat the queues especially in school holidays as well as save money.  With a whole host of attractions and thrilling rides there might not be enough time in the day!  Exciting rides include the Edge and The Cobra.  More family friendly rides for younger children include the Magic Carpet Ride and the Flying Frog.  We are sure the whole family will have fun at Paultons so check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.
See wildlife in their natural surroundings as you wander round this amazing park.  Otters, owls, foxes and badgers are just some of the species you might come across here.  This attraction is perfect for sunny days and ideal for animal lovers and families as well as couples.  Located in the Marchwood area of Southampton this is a very popular day out.
