The site is peaceful and relaxing by day but offers outstanding entertainment on an evening. The stunning Hurn Forest can be accessed directly from the park for scenic walks and cycling.

Oakdene Forest offers first class facilities including an indoor pool with flume and shallow beach area for the little ones to splash around in. There is also an outdoor pool area with shallow fun pools. Relaxation is a top priority here and guests can enjoy a sauna, steam room and spa bath. Other facilities include crazy golf and table tennis as well as a  play area and Game Zone with video games for children.

Accommodation at Oakdene Forest is either in modern caravans or stylish lodges. The Forest Lodges have two or three bedrooms and provide more spacious family accommodation. Heated throughout, they have well equipped kitchens with washing machines and furnished verandahs with private hot tubs.

Oakdene Forest Park Reviews

We had a week here in the six weeks with our 2 kids aged 5 and 2. The site is very good for families with kids as lots for them to do. The outdoor pools were shallow and good for them to paddle in when the weather was nice. The indoor pool got very busy when it rains. Some people were staying in caravans which did look nice but we were pleased we had chosen a lodge. lots of space and felt very safe for our toddler. A big thanks to all the staff for being so helpful. We are planning to go abroad next year but will hopefully come back some time.

I do think that maybe for a four night stay in an off peak season we paid a little more than expected, but despite this, it was still a decent break

Very good value for money. Was slightly concerned that the caravan would not be of a good standard as the price was so good however we were very pleasantly surprised. Caravan was lovely and spacious, modest decor however all well maintained, good size main bedroom with an en suite and good size lounge.

Great place for family holiday with our 2 young daughters aged 5 and 8. They really enjoyed evening entertainment and pool as did we, staff were great and plenty to do in surrounding area. We are very likely to return next year.
Jeff
We booked late for a short break, the caravan was clean, spacious and had all we needed. The on site free wifi was excellent. The facilities all looked good although we did not use all of them. The entertainment staff not only looked after the younger visitors but then covered the evenings entertainment. having been to a few larger holiday camps we would say all of the entertainment staff were excellent. There performances, friendliness and overall manner was good to see. Situated in a very good area and also not far to other attractions such as Monkey World and Moors valley park. We will definitely visit again.

Oakdene Forest is in a fantastic location, easy to find, clean, tidy and very friendly staff. This was our second stay and we will be coming back again for another visit, the food is good and reasonably priced and there are enough options to choose from to please the children. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool + facilities, mum and dad enjoyed the spa facilities. See you again soon...
Nina
My family and my brother's had a wonderful time at Oakdene. From the booking to the end it was great. The guy who took my booking made sure we had accommodation next to each other and actually, with it being at the end of a cul de sac next to the woods, the children could run around safely. The swimming pools were fun. Good was perfectly fine. The position of the park was great for visits to Bournemouth, Lyndhurst. A very good base. Would def come back and recommend
Andrea

Fun Days Out near Oakdene Forest

The perfect place to visit on a rainy day this large Sealife Centre is currently offering 2 tickets for £15.00 when you book online. Top attractions include the amazing shark tunnel, the rock pools and the otter enclosure. This year Loch Lomond Sealife Centre is also home to Cammy - the only Giant Sea Turtle in Scotland! The centre also offers visitors an educational experience with talks and hands on events taking place daily.
This is a really fun and memorable attraction which is suitable for day trips or short breaks.  You can buy your tickets online which will help you beat the queues especially in school holidays as well as save money.  With a whole host of attractions and thrilling rides there might not be enough time in the day!  Exciting rides include the Edge and The Cobra.  More family friendly rides for younger children include the Magic Carpet Ride and the Flying Frog.  We are sure the whole family will have fun at Paultons so check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.
See wildlife in their natural surroundings as you wander round this amazing park.  Otters, owls, foxes and badgers are just some of the species you might come across here.  This attraction is perfect for sunny days and ideal for animal lovers and families as well as couples.  Located in the Marchwood area of Southampton this is a very popular day out.
New Forest Wildlife Park - about 16 Miles
