Castle Pren Lodges are stunning lodges with hot tubs in the Powys area of wales.  The countryside views are a real bonus and the location on an actual working farm make these lodges really unique.  Couples, and families with children would love the setting here.

The Eco friendly lodges are just a short drive from the Elan Valley reservoirs and also the famous Brecon Beacons National Park.  If you prefer a stroll then there is picture perfect farmland and Welsh hills right on the doorstep.  Alternatively cycle hire is available on the park - another option to get out and explore this stunning area.

The lodges themselves are bespoke in design, and offer open plan living with stylish decor.  French doors lead out onto lovely decking areas and of course the private outdoor hot tubs.  Imagine relaxing in your own outdoor hot tub taking in the countryside views.  The bedrooms are split into king size doubles and twin rooms although the twin rooms can be made into doubles by arrangement.

For a great day out head to the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre 13 miles away from the lodges.  It was voted Herefordshire Family Attraction of the Year.

Great location, in country setting, ideal for a relaxing break. Lodge was perfect and has everything you need, with a fantastic hot tub on the patio. Plenty of space for children to run around and play games in the garden. Owners very welcoming, friendly and helpful with information on the area. Looking forward to a return visit.

Only issue is that the Jacuzzi wasn't emptied and refilled for the next customer, just chemical cleaner added!

This place is beautiful, the lodge is so full of light with wonderful panoramic views right the way around it, it was really clean and beautifully decorated. The Hot tub was really nice, it was great to turn off all the lights and have some bubbly in the bubbles with the starry night sky above me. It was lambing season when I went there and it was so nice to see the lambs in the field and they came up to the Lodge bleating and bouncing with joy it was lovely. I took my dogs and they loved the space and the countryside, the walks are beautiful and we visited Elan Valley and Devils Bridge which is well worth a visit.
The only downfall is that there was no Wifi but if you want a break from Technology its perfect!

The cabin is a great base if you want to go exploring the countryside or the many local villages surrounding. However it is also great if you plan on staying in the cabin/hot tub for a whole week, you are provided with everything you need, from fresh milk on arrival to extra firewood when requested.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay and would thoroughly recommend to friends and family. We received a warm welcome and he owners were friendly and helpful. The lodge was clean and very well equipped. We were fortunate to have some clear nights to really appreciate the sky in an unlit area.

We would love to stay again but this might be quite difficult as we have 4 children. It's a shame the lodges are not 3 bedroom or have the opportunity for a pull out bed in the large twin room. We could easily put the 3 boys in one room together!

We are planning a get away without the children one day and this is the top of our list for Wales.
Fantastic lodge. Owners and there dog Charlie are great
Perfect family retreat! Lovely owners, superb views and amazing lodge, we will return!
Fantastic. Stunning scenery, stunning lodge, so peaceful and relaxing. really couldn't have asked for any better.
3rd visit amazing and relaxing. Owners are friendly and welcoming and will make your stay as enjoyable as possible
Good for a relaxing holiday Beautiful views Not much around - nearest shop approx 6 miles away Recommend to visit Elan Valley Hot tub was good - it is cleaned/checked daily at 830 but it doesn't invade your privacy or impact you at all
Absolutely perfect for a tranquil, relaxing, get away from it all holiday!
Quiet but very good
Fantastic place really enjoyed it ! This was our second time The only improvements would be a cover over the hot tub as it's rains a lot in Wales haha And the possibility of wifi ! Ice tray in frezzer !
Stunning lodge surrounded by stunning scenery.
It was a lovely stay in the middle of nowhere. Certainly the best views I have had from a lodge. Will certainly be returning.
