1 Lomond Courtyard Reviews

James - Sep 2024
Balloch is perfect for a weekend away; the cottage was lovely and cosy. We’re already planning our next visit!
Oliver - Sep 2024
The location's greatand the place has good potential. It’s quite cosy, but a few small touches could make it feel warmer and more inviting. Adding some curtains, rugs, or wall art would help with the echo and make it less cold. A welcome basket or little extras like cling film and tin foil would be a lovely touch. The washer and dryer were handy, but the low wall outside isn’t ideal for dogs. Overall, it’s a decent spot that just needs a bit more homely feel to really shine!
Emma - Mar 2024
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s perfectly situated just a short stroll into town, which has plenty of pubs and eateries. The place was spotless, spaciousand had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic spot - we’re definitely coming back soon! Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.
Emily - Feb 2024
We had high hopes for our stay, but if you're planning a hot tub weekend, maybe rethink. The location of the cottage is truly stunningand it’s decorated nicely with good facilities, all very clean. However, our hot tub was a real letdown-it only warmed up enough to use on the Sunday morning, as it was freezing the rest of the time, no steam at all. We mentioned it to Hayley and James, but sadly, nothing was sorted, which was a bit disappointing and affected our plans. Still, the place itself was lovely to visit.

Charming place, perfect spotand the host was really helpful throughout, definitely coming back!

Really enjoyed our stay, the hot tub was greatand the nearby walks were perfect for relaxing. Owner was helpful too.
IndyJit - Aug 2022
We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful, private spot! The owners were super friendly and helpful, always nearby if we needed anything but never intrusive. The hot tub was just perfect after a long day of cycling! Just a heads up, the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, so there's quite a bit of aircraft noise. It only took us a couple of hours to get used to it, and it really didn’t spoil our holiday at all. Just worth knowing if you’re sensitive to noise!

This cottage is just gorgeous and in such a peaceful spot! Perfect for a getaway. The hot tub was brilliant, and the place was so clean, with all the essentials. There are loads of walks nearby, plus you can easily explore the village. Honestly, I had a fantastic time and can’t recommend it enough! Just be prepared to never want to leave!
EllieJ - May 2021
This place is a real find! The cottage is stunning and has absolutely everything you could possibly need, so I ended up packing way too much in the car. The welcome pack is super useful, with all the info you need and even local menus, which was a nice touch. Big thanks for the little extras for our dogs too. Sharon and Rob are really quick to get back to you if you have any questions. The enclosed garden was perfect for the K9s and the hot tub? Just amazing! Had a lovely break!
