Stylish and modern are two words which best describe these gorgeous lodges in Hambleton, Lancashire. Sunset Park brings together a range of well designed lodges in a countryside setting, really making the most of the Fylde countryside.
Families will love these lodges as there's a children's play area on site as well as a clubhouse with entertainment too. And of course the location is perfect, as just ten minutes away you'll find Blackpool and all the fun attractions there.
Couples too will love the idyllic and relaxing setting of Sunset Park and the fantastic facilities on offer. The fishing lakes are a unique aspect of this park and you can fish on site if you have a NRA licence.
The Oak Lodge sleeps up to 6 and has a luxury interior design and open plan living. The outside decking houses a private hot tub - the icing on the cake! The Mallard Lodge which sleeps 4 is another great choice, offering private hot tub and the added bonus of lake views.

The lodge was absolutely perfect for myself and my family .. everything we had expected and hoped for .
caravan almost brand new, some really nice touches though that set this apart such as washing up liquid, toilet rolls and other basic items in place.

Lodge was perfect. Loved the wee extras like washing tablets and kitchen roll. Really perfect for our needs, large and comfortable and hot tub was great.
The lodge was clean, neat and cosy. The hot tub was fantastic and the lodges extras were a lovely touch.
We stayed in Sycamore which was practically brand new and spotlessly clean. There are 4 caravans for hire all in a row and all appeared to be the same model situated near to the facilities. The model was basic with a smaller living area but it suited our party of 4 adults a child and a small dog perfectly (additional seating is provided to seat unto 6 at the table).
The holiday home was lovely and well equipped. nice and warm as it was cold weather.
The only downside for me was there was a red stain on the bedding in the master bedroom which wasnt very encouraging. but i slept on top of the bedding as it was nice and warm.
Apart from that the stay was good and i would still stay again.
Lodge is clean and comfortable. Hot tub could have been easier to access, but the hot tub was nice, clean and big too.

Great lodge and hot tub. The only thing I would change is having a gate direct into the hot tub area rather than walking around the side of the lodge
Very nice place to stay .

Food was disappointing had a pizza which was poor
sunday lunch was cold ...!
Could do with a shop on site .
overall very good .

We had a lovely few days at Sunset Park. We haven't had a caravan holiday for many years but we really enjoyed it. The caravan was practically new and very well maintained and I'd give top marks for cleanliness. All bedding and towels were supplied and of hotel quality. It's a lovely park and there are some nice pubs close by to eat also a great "chippy" called Sylvia's (I think). A great base for exploring the Lakes, Trough of Bowland and all surrounding areas. Thoroughly recommend it.
Fantastic break, this is a residential site but the mix of a small number of lets fits really well. The site is immaculate as is the clubhouse. Food and drink very reasonably priced, staff excellent. definitely stay again.
Loved this park. Great for the kids and beautiful location. The staff really were so very helpful. Lovely meal in the bar/restaurant.
A really nice place to stay, the staff are friendly. We took are dog and he enjoyed it too. I will be back and I would recommend to family and friends.
Had a great weekend staying here with family for Mother's Day. Lodge was amazing, especially the hot tub.
Looking forward to visiting again.
Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed. A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family. From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out. Also popular is the kids tractor play area. For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station. The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
Here at the Wildlife Oasis you can really get up close to the animals and experience a mix of exotic wildlife and hand son displays. See butterflies, birds and even bats flying around. You don't have to plan your visit according to weather either with the tropical hall and butterfly house undercover. Sunny days are ideal for some of the inhabitants however with the monkeys and Lemurs loving to sunbathe. The mission of Lakeland's Wildlife Oasis is to engender and foster an interest and appreciation of the natural world which, in our belief underpins wildlife conservation; and, where possible to contribute and encourage contribution to the conservation of wildlife and wild places. You know that you are helping with this mission if you choose to visit.
