Buttercup is a quaint, romantic shepherd hut situated in a secure, gated area of Croft Park. This shepherd hut boasts its own bathroom, and a cosy open-plan living area, kitchenette, and bedroom. The external area features a raised decking which wraps around to either side of the shepherd hut: one side has a relaxing seating & BBQ area perfect for sunny days whilst the other side has a private and fully covered hot tub which can be enjoyed all year round, whatever the weather! A perfect romantic getaway for you and that special someone. Discounted Bed and Breakfast package available, please contact the park direct for further details. A bale of towels is provided for each adult to include a bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel. A tea towel and oven cloth will also be provided for use in the kitchen. A small welcome pack of washing up liquid and toilet rolls etc will be provided to get your self-catering holiday started.

Are the hot tubs cleaned prior to arrival?
Hot tubs are usually drained and emptied at around 10am in the morning which allows them to heat up to the correct temperature for your arival. The one exception being if you're booking a property with a wood-fired tub, which make need to be heated when you arrive. Check the description box on this page for details.
Can children use the hot tub at Buttercup Shepherd Hut?
Its advisable that those under the age of 5 refrain from using hot tubs. If your child is over 5 years old, it is recommended to maintain a lower water temperature of approximately 35°C and limit their soaking time to 10 minutes. Younger children may have more difficulty regulating their body temperature, so these precautions are essential to ensure a safe hot tub experience for older kids.
How long can you stay in the hot tub?
If you're new to hot-tubbing, it's best to keep your sessions to short bursts. 10-15 minutes is often recommended but even that might be too long for some users. Just be aware that higher temperatures of around 40°C can make you feel faint. Take breaks, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and turn the temperature down if it's 'too much'.
