These beautifully converted lodges, each with their own outdoor hot tub, nestle in 17 acres of stunning parkland in the grounds of Henlle Hall, a Grade II listed Georgian country house on the borders of England and Wales. The unspoilt Shropshire countryside has lots to offer and provides the perfect backdrop to a really relaxing break .
The grounds have open parkland, mature woodland and wonderful views. There's coarse fishing on the park and golf courses nearby as well as a spa offering a range of luxurious treatments. Further afield, there are pretty towns and villages as well as opportunities for walking, mountain biking, touring and eating in Michelin-starred restaurants.
Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges have been stylishly designed with every comfort in mind. Colonel's Lodge provides deluxe accommodation and has a master bedroom with super king size double bed and a contemporary ensuite shower room. There's also a double or twin room and an open plan spacious kitchen/lounge/dining area with vaulted ceilings and a wood burning stove.
National Trust properties, market towns, independent shops and excellent pubs - Shropshire has it all. From pony trekking and kayaking on the River Dee to riding a steam train and taking a horse-drawn narrow boat ride on the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, you won't be short of things to do. Chester and Shrewsbury are both within easy reach.
