Luxury Pet Friendly Coastal Holidays

One of the things we get asked frequently is for luxury lodges close to the beach that accept pets too!  Or high-end holiday homes near scenic coastal paths or other great walking routes for dogs.

Thankfully there are now plenty of great options for pet friendly holidays in fantastic lodges and holiday properties.
We have set out below a few of our favourites from the South West coast.

Spindrift

With a glorious position above golden Praa Sands, Spindrift is a unique holiday home. The shimmering sea is the ideal backdrop to relaxing evenings in the hot tub surrounded by bubbles.

The interior is modern and has a lovely laid back feel framed by large windows making the most of the amazing views.

We love the spacious decked terrace area where you can make the most of al fresco coastal living, watch the surfers while you enjoy a coffee and breathe in the sea air.

The Ember Room Roundhouse

The Ember Room Roundhouse at East Thorne in Bude is one of the most quaint and unique accommodations we have seen.  A true one off!

The holiday home sleeps 4 and allows 2 pets making this a perfect place for a fun family holiday – with added luxury of course.

A cosy yet luxurious glamping retreat you can enjoy many home comforts including underfloor heating and a woodburning stove.  If you want to make the most of the glamping lifestyle then the communal pizza oven is a must try.

The location is ideal for those with children and dogs as some of the best beaches in Cornwall are just a short ride away at Bude.

The outside area comes with a bubbling hot tub, barbecue and a patio with a table and chairs.

Deep Leap at Strawberryfield Park

This stunning lodge would make a fabulous holiday base for anyone looking for something extra special in the glorious area of Somerset.

Open plan living space and a decked terrace complete the set up of this lodge with a WOW factor.

The design and furnishings stand out from the rest and the best thing is that this is a pet friendly lodge too!

All the mod cons are at hand including a wall mounted 46″ Bang and Olufsen TV complete with Smart Blu-Ray player and Apple TV.

Located in Cheddar, this is an area of outstanding natural beauty and of course is best known for it’s cheese and the popular attraction Cheddar Gorge.

Outside the lodge is a pleasant area with wooden sofa seating coffee table situated under the sheltered starlight roof.

There is also a breakfast table with two chairs, two comfortable sun loungers and a table complete with concealed ice bucket holder – perfect for those summer evenings.

For added luxury this lodge comes with private outdoor hot tub partially sunk into the decking.

Strawberryfield Park itself is a charming laid back holiday park oozing luxury and with a stunning backdrop of the Mendhip Hills.

Deer Leap sleeps 2 and accepts up to 2 well behaved pets.  The Gorge is one of the most impressive natural landmarks in the UK.  Situated close to some excellent scenic walking paths this is a great location for dog friendly holidays.

6 At The Beach in Torcross

What an amazing apartment located in the small quaint village of Torcross.

With sea views and an enclosed garden this is the ideal coastal retreat for families.  Sleeping 6 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms this property is very modern in design. Families will love the open plan feel.

The icing on the cake has to be the spacious balcony overlooking the ocean with far reaching sea views WOW!  Outside there is a large patio with furniture separated between adjoining apartment with a partition.  There is also fantastic beach access via a side path from the balcony leading down to the beach.

The calm and safe waters are perfect for families especially with younger children and the vast expanse of sand make it great for dogs (and their owners!).  Positioned within easy reach of some of South Devon’s best beaches, Blackpool Sands is just around the corner. If you want to explore, the vibrant and popular town of Dartmouth is close by.

The perfect beach holiday home for you and your four legged friend. Two well behaved pets are welcome.  Please note that there is no hot tub with this property.
