Beacon Fell View
Beacon Fell View offers a convenient location close to Blackpool but with plenty to do on site as well. With an indoor swimming pool and entertainment passes there is enough to keep the whole family entertained.
One of the best things about Beacon Fell View is the setting, close to Blackpool but also within easy reach of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. So much to explore!
The park is actually a whole 35 acres of landscaped parkland with a range of holiday homes and lodges. We love the lodges with hot tubs which add a touch of luxury to your stay and offer the perfect way to relax and take in the views. The name of the park reflects the fantastic views over the Ribble Valley. The children’s play area and nature trail are also great features.
The Beacon Fell Cottage Plus looks lovely, with 2 bedrooms and a bubbling hot tub. This property can sleep 5. Another option we like is the Beacon Platinum Lodge with Hot Tub. This lodge has a modern interior and sleeps up to 6.

Ream Hills Holiday Park
With a super location really close to Blackpool you will be close to all the action here. And yet at the same time Ream Hills offers relaxing tranquillity and gorgeous lake views.
There are some amazing family days out in this area. Blackpool Pleasure Beach with its legendary rides is a must for adrenaline junkies whilst the world-renowned Blackpool Tower offers a trip down memory lane and breathtaking views from the full-length glass observation window.

For a pet-friendly option we love the Pawprint Chalet (such a cute name!). The Pawprint Chalet sleeps 4 people and welcomes 2 pets. Also comes with a private hot tub.

Dovestone Holiday Park is in the Greenfield area of Lancashire.
Just 3 miles from the Pennine Way it is the ideal place for any couple looking to relax and spend quality time together. If you wanted to venture further afield then you could head to the coast and experience all that Blackpool has to offer. Don’t forget those fish and chips and candyfloss on the pier! Then it’s time to return to your cosy couple’s retreat.
The Dovestone Lakeside Spa Lodge is beautiful and offers a contemporary base with a hot tub. It has a premier location next to the stunning lake. This lodge sleeps 4 and also accepts one pet.

It’s fair to say you’d have to try really hard to be bored during a lodge break in Blackpool. It’s more lilely you’ll need to come back and experience it all again. But here are the main things that are likely to tempt you away from that hot tub during your staycation in this area.
1. Blackpool tower
Built in 1984, this tower is easily recognised around the world and sits at the end of the very British Blackpool pier. At 158 meters it can be seen for miles and you can actually go inside and experience the Blackpool Tower Eye. Definitely check out the Blackpool tower Dungeon which brings together an impressive cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages, scenes and rides.
2. Blackpool pleasure beach
There’s someting for everyone at the awesome theme park, from rollercoasters that will make your hair stand on end, to fun rides for younger children. Even if you hit some bad weather during your holiday, it’s good to have a plan B and someting to do. This waterpark is crammed with slides, pools and activities for all ages. Here you’ll find the world’s longest Indoor Roller Coaster waterslide, Aztec Falls, Sidewinder and more. Families and younger guests will feel right at home in Typhoon Lagoon wave pool.
