These beautiful cottages have been lovingly converted from a former coach house and stables and retain many original features like oak beams and panelled doors. Set in 17 gorgeous acres of parkland in rural Shropshire, there is a coarse fishing lake and an 18 hole golf course. Chester and Shrewsbury are both easily accessible.

Relax and enjoy the beauty and spa treatments on offer at Henlle Hall - and if you don't feel like cooking, you can arrange for some delicious local produce to be delivered to your door. There's lots to see and do in Shropshire - from pony trekking and kayaking to scenic walks, steam railway trips and horse-drawn narrowboat rides!

The cottages here are utterly unique. Our favourite is Butlers Quarters, a two storey cottage for two people. It's really quaint with one king size double bedroom with ensuite shower, a kitchen/dining area and a cosy living area with wood burning stove. The outdoor area has garden furniture and a private hot tub.

Powis Castle at Welshpool is home to some amazing treasures from India as well as paintings and furniture. You'll love wandering around the Farmers' Market at Celyn where you can buy real Welsh cider, cheese, olive oil and also handmade leather and craft items. Head to the Cock O'Barton in Chester for a fantastic home cooked meal.

Fantastic accommodation (the Smithy). Warm welcome, box of chocolates and bottle of champagne to get your stay underway. Need to know for future guests: the hot tub isn't directly outside your accommodation. It's a short walk into the trees and bushes but this adds to the feeling of being secluded. Service welcoming. Would definitely return.......
Worth a walk along the canal to the Poacher pub. It's a Marstons pub. Menu ok. Food ok.
Lion keys very nice but pricey...

Premises of good proportions and space. Single level opening onto courtyard. FULLY equipped for a short or longer stay. Definitely 5 star accommodation in every respect!

We loved it.

Butlers quarters was so cosy and perfect for what we wanted. The cottage was really well planned out and made the most of the views to the walled garden and front aspect of the house.

The accommodation contained everything we needed and a large fridge freezer for all the booze to help us celebrate our anniversary!

Two notes of caution
1. I'm tall, forgot to duck, and so my head can testify to the quality of Georgian buildings!
2. The stairs are quite steep (though maybe not for the age of the property) and are also open-backed so our dog got scared and had to be carried up and down.

These two points aren't intended as criticisms or slights to the property just trying g to be helpful to others who may stay. We stayed for three nights and would happily stay again ad have already recommended the place to our friends!

this is our third stay in as many years in the coach house. great time as ever, weather wasn't so kind to us his year. so we took full advantage of the offer of a spa day for only £10 as guests of Henlle hall and even bought our lunch there. we plan to rebook for 2018.
Lauren

We have just returned from a week's holiday at Henlle Hall. We stayed in The Coach House and it was absolutely outstanding. The accommodation is furnished and fitted to a high standard and it was immaculate. The grounds, gardens and hot tub are meticulously maintained. The owner and staff are delightful, from the warm welcome we received on arrival to the lovely hugs on departure. I cannot recommend Henlle Hall highly enough. It is a beautiful and relaxing and situated in an ideal location for exploring. We will most definitely return.
Richard

My wife and I stayed in the converted stable along with our two teenagers and two dogs. The accommodation was tastfully converted and restored, keeping many of its original features. The main house and grounds were beautiful and immaculately kept. The owners and staff were very attentive. The surrounding area is outstanding and I enjoyed many a long walk in the woodland and along the canal paths with my dogs. Overall a wonderful weekend and we shall return.
