These beautiful cottages have been lovingly converted from a former coach house and stables and retain many original features like oak beams and panelled doors. Set in 17 gorgeous acres of parkland in rural Shropshire, there is a coarse fishing lake and an 18 hole golf course. Chester and Shrewsbury are both easily accessible.

Relax and enjoy the beauty and spa treatments on offer at Henlle Hall - and if you don't feel like cooking, you can arrange for some delicious local produce to be delivered to your door. There's lots to see and do in Shropshire - from pony trekking and kayaking to scenic walks, steam railway trips and horse-drawn narrowboat rides!

The cottages here are utterly unique. Our favourite is Butlers Quarters, a two storey cottage for two people. It's really quaint with one king size double bedroom with ensuite shower, a kitchen/dining area and a cosy living area with wood burning stove. The outdoor area has garden furniture and a private hot tub.

Powis Castle at Welshpool is home to some amazing treasures from India as well as paintings and furniture. You'll love wandering around the Farmers' Market at Celyn where you can buy real Welsh cider, cheese, olive oil and also handmade leather and craft items. Head to the Cock O'Barton in Chester for a fantastic home cooked meal.

Having stayed in the Smithy before we thought we would try a different accommodation. This was furnished and kitted out to the same high standard as the Smithy however on reflection we liked the Smithy better. This is still a fantastic cottage but the stairs were quite steep and the kitchen being downstairs didn't really work for us.

Holiday would have been perfect except for building work being noisy. Was told on arrival would only be working on Monday and Friday (changeover days) however the work was hammering and drilling everyday. A few things need replacing in the stables I.e beige sofa, shower screen door in main bedroom sticks badly - worried we would break it if used too much. However the holiday was lovely and surroundings beautiful. So thank you.

Absolutely wonderful place, the setting was great and the cottage we stayed in was very nice. Hot tub in the trees was a delight after long days out walking and exploring, would highly recommend and have already suggested the whole family come back next year. Keeta gave us a very warm welcome and was the nicest host we have ever had. Henlle Hall was a lovely relaxing retreat. We will be back I'm sure.

We booked this last minute trip away for a short break with our dog. Perfect break away, every single detail had been thought about from hot tub towels to special treats for our dog! The staff couldn't be more helpful. Beautiful walks around, very peaceful. We're already planning on visiting here again in the future!
