The Fairground Pet Friendly Lodge provides the perfect location for families seeking all the fun of the fair, with the added bonus of being able to bring your fury friends along for the ride. The lodge comes with all the quirky fairground theming and extras such as themed artwork, views of our Big Wheel, Big Wheel planters, and of course, a popcorn machine. Then also comes with some pet friendly features for your pets to enjoy. We’ve got an outdoor pet cleaning & rinsing area, and a whole host of extras inside the lodge too, from a doggy goodie bag, to dog beds, to dog bowls – we’ve gone barking mad! Like the Fairground Lodge, it has three bedrooms and sleeps up to six people. The master bedroom offers guests a king size bed and en-suite shower room, whilst the two twin bedrooms each provide two full size single beds for the little ones or even the grandparents.

Are the hot tubs cleaned prior to arrival?
Hot tubs are usually drained and emptied at around 10am in the morning which allows them to heat up to the correct temperature for your arival. The one exception being if you're booking a property with a wood-fired tub, which make need to be heated when you arrive. Check the description box on this page for details.
Can children use the hot tub at Fairground Pet Friendly Lodge?
Its advisable that those under the age of 5 refrain from using hot tubs. If your child is over 5 years old, it is recommended to maintain a lower water temperature of approximately 35°C and limit their soaking time to 10 minutes. Younger children may have more difficulty regulating their body temperature, so these precautions are essential to ensure a safe hot tub experience for older kids.
How long can you stay in the hot tub?
If you're new to hot-tubbing, it's best to keep your sessions to short bursts. 10-15 minutes is often recommended but even that might be too long for some users. Just be aware that higher temperatures of around 40°C can make you feel faint. Take breaks, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and turn the temperature down if it's 'too much'.
