About Clumber Park Lodges

Clumber Park Lodges are a stunning collection of high end lodges with a woodland setting - perfect for getting away from it all.  To enter the lodges you drive up a pretty private road which sets the scene for your relaxing break.  You'll be well located for exploring the National Trust property Clumber Park which is just a mile from the lodges.

You can also visit the uber famous Sherwood Forest which is within easy reach by car.  On site you'll find the Woodshed Cafe Bar - a great place to relax.

The lodges have been designed with luxury in mind and are tranquil living spaces with all the mod cons you need to enjoy your stay.  We love the Oak Lodge Spa which has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 people.  The outdoor verandah is the ideal place to watch the world go by and the outdoor hot tub makes the holiday even more unforgettable.

All of the 'Spa' lodges come with outdoor hot tubs so if this is an important part of your getaway then check you are booking a Spa Lodge.  Another gorgeous lodge with hot tub is the Sycamore Lodge Spa which is a bespoke lodge perfect for couples or families.  This lodge has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6.

Some of the lodges are also pet friendly and welcome up to two well behaved dogs.

If you are looking for some more action then you could head into the lively city of Nottingham with it's fantastic buildings, great shopping and cafe culture.  There are also plenty of attractions in the area for days out.

Bolstover Castle in Chesterfield is an amazing day out for the whole family.  Kids will love the entertainment house while parents can enjoy the collection of art.  The Venus Garden with fountain is also brilliant for exploring.

Clumber Park Lodges Reviews

"Nice lodge, well equipped, comfy bed and very clean. For a dog friendly lodge there was no sign of hairs and no doggy smells."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Great for a quiet get away."
David - Apr 2024
"Great location and lovely park. Bar not open daily yet advertised as is. Shame there is not option to purchase wifi in lodges as very poor phone signal on site and wifi only in reception and bar- pointless if its not open!! Not sure its value for money"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Excellent lodge - clean and comfortable - the hot tub was lovely The oven is the only issue I had - 20 mins to warm up them 30 mins to cook a pizza"
Eric - Apr 2024
"Lovely lodge great value. All clean and tidy, the hot tub is a great additional benefit."

"A little tight around the kitchen-eating area but everything else was great"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Lovely lodge & hot tub. Hot tub wasn't very private. Kitchen fully equipped. Lodge did have a slight wet dog smell, but you would probably expected it in a 'dog friendly lodge'"
Lorraine - Apr 2024
"No hot tub nothing to do"

Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Great stay in this park, very very relaxing and very tidy. The lodge was well equipped and spotless. Excellent location for visiting Clumber park which is stunning even in the rain !The shop was lacking a few essentials when we were there but the staff were very helpful, special mention for lady in the cafe, life saver. Will definitely be back at the end of the summer if the price is right again."
Jane - Mar 2024
"Very peaceful well looked after lodges warm clean beds very comfortable. Loads of places to visit with in 10miles. Staff very friendly and polite. Only one negative the bar and cafe wasnt open."
Mark - Mar 2024
"The kids love the hot tub and the room. The lodge did smell and was very cold on arrival. The main bedroom carpet appeared to have been cleaned but still had brown marks all over and there was a lingering smell throughout."
Sophie - Mar 2024
"perfect break"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Beautiful Lodge, so spacious, maybe.... Only because my boys forgot them a option to hire out board games or something odviously because the WiFi isn't that great (which isn't a bad thing BTW) great to get away and really switch off. The heating didn't stay on long but not sure if it was on a timer. The sofas were so comfy and so were the beds. One of the best lodges we have ever stayed in!!"
Rhian - Mar 2024
"Fabulous lodge - very clean, layout was great, beds were comfortable, lots of storage space.Sofas and chairs were very comfortable.Outside area was lovely - sofas were very Comfortable and dried quickly.Hot tub was fab."
Lou - Mar 2024
"All very nice, well equipped and well maintained lodge. Kitchen was well stocked and towels were all clean and fresh. Fittings in the lodge were of a good quality."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Dog hairs on furniture and carpets and smelt of dog been 10 times wont go back again good for dog lovers"
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"I went for a short break and was delighted with the facilities. The lodge was in immaculate condition and very well stocked for utensils. Everything was provided for my stay and I didn't have to worry about purchasing anything except food. This lodge was designed for people with disabilities which I didn't need but that didn't detract from my experience. My only regret was the comfort of the beds, which were not the best, but tolerableVery impressed indeed, would definitely go back and situated in beautiful surroundings."
Jackie - Feb 2024
"Attended no WiFi, tv wouldnt work as there was no WiFi. Hot tub not heating up spoke to reception and she stated that it was common knowledge that the hot tubs might not be heated, it actually was because the hot tub was in sleep mode so most of the day on Saturday it was also cold until I went back to reception and asked them to look at it. We then received an email suggesting we had put it into sleep mode? More that it had never been taken out of sleep mode the chap that came to fix it filled it up with hot water said there was a sequence that had to be put to get it into and out of sleep mode.Friends that only stayed for one night didnt get the use of it due to not working."
Stefana - Feb 2024
"Stayed for 3 nights. Staffs in reception are welcoming. However, was disappointed with the lodge. Bin from the kids toilet was not emptied. Found a used nappy ???? which is unacceptable. And the smell of the lodge isnt great."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Hot tub too cold for below 0 temp, this was reported but was told it was set at 38 deg, I have a hot tub and it could have been altered ???????Oven took 45 mins to cook a 10 min pizza , this was reported but was told that's how it is ???????"
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Lovely lodge. Well situated to enjoy local surroundings. Staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. Site staff were friendly and discreet as they did their duties, such as check hot tub water.Would have benefited from a washer/dryer not just washer. However airer provided. Bed sheets had old marks on.No signal or WiFi in lodge at all so would have been good to have known that beforehand so as to prepare the three teens we had with us. Store in visitors lodge was lacking so couldn't top up on milk when we ran out unexpectedly.Shame the cafe wasn't open until Easter."
Michelle Davies - Jan 2024
"Great log cabin. Hot tubs could be more private. Very comfortable ????????"
Richard - Jan 2024
"Fab accommodation, 3rd time I have been."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Second time staying here & we love it. We are a family with 3 small boys who love the outdoors. The lodges are spot on, good size with lovely furnishings. The hot tub is an added bonus & keeps the boys very happy. The park itself is in a perfect spot if you like enjoying the outdoors. We visited Clumber Park, Sheerwood Pines & Rufford Abbey all within about a 20 minute drive. We also walked from the lodge straight into the forrest & were lucky enough to see some deer. We also went out for tea at a pub in Edwinstowe which was lovely & again only about 15/20 minutes drive. Will definitely be back."
Kelly - Jan 2024
"The accommodation was incredible clean and spacious. Loved it loved it"
Carol - Aug 2022
"The lodges were clean and comfortable nice surroundings the grounds were well maintained"
Susan - Aug 2022
"Fantastic lodge in even better surroundings, it was honestly more than we expected. Park is nice and quiet even with plenty people there, value for money in the cafe/bar in the shop where normally you’d expect to be over charged on site. Staff are fantastic and very attentive. Will definitely return."
Ryan - Aug 2022

The lodges are clean, large and well equipped and the staff are very welcoming and helpful throughout the whole stay.
