The clue is in the title with these beautiful getaways – sea views. There is nothing more relaxing than the gentle sound of crashing waves as you get some time away. We all love a classic beach holiday so why not indulge in a holiday home with a hot tub, letting you take a dip year-round, whatever the weather.
There’s nothing better than waking up, opening the curtains and seeing the deep blue laid out in front of you. These cottages offer all that and more, set in a selection of idyllic seaside towns and villages across the country.
From breathtaking Cornwall to the rugged Northumberland coast, there’s something for everyone. After all, we do like to be beside the seaside!
These destinations can be enjoyed in every season from cozy wintery walks along fresh and breezy beaches to classic summer seaside holidays, swimming in the sea and relaxing in the sun. Here are some of our favourite properties that take you right to the water’s edge, the best sea view cottages with hot tubs.
Sea Cliff Cottage in Cornwall
Sleeps: 4 | Bedrooms: 2 | Pet Friendly | Rating: 4.8 / 5
For a true beach holiday escape, Sea Cliff Cottage is a must. This property would be well suited for a romantic getaway as the stylish, yet cozy cottage has an intimate feel, meaning you can forget about the outside world and simply enjoy your slice of paradise.
But if you want a more family-orientated holiday, this property can deliver, with plenty of garden space and room for up to 4 people.
The authentic Scandinavian-style hot tub has fabulous views of the sweeping valley down to the seafront.
However, this property isn’t just for the hot summer days – it features a fully-equipped cinema room with a star-lit sky ceiling and ultra-comfy seating for those colder days.
Lighthouse View in Norfolk
Sleeps: 12 | Bedrooms: 5 | Pet Friendly | Rating: 4.8 / 5
Let the sea be the backdrop to your latest getaway in this stunning three-floor property. Wake up to a view of the harbour and sea stretching out beyond. Norfolk is home to some of the most beautiful coasts in the country, so you will not be short of beach-based adventures.
Step into the tranquil garden to find not only a luxury hot tub, but an outdoor dining space, perfect for al fresco living in the long summer evenings.
This property is fully equipped for 12 people so is an ideal location for bigger groups looking to spend some quality time together in a spacious house.
The Beach House in Circcieth North Wales
Sleeps: 10 | Bedrooms: 4 | No Pets | Rating: 4.9 / 5
You could not be closer to the sea in this stunning beach house, just two minutes walk from the water. Located on the northern shores of the impressive Cardigan Bay, there are endless possibilities for days out.
But with uninterrupted views across the ocean, you might find yourself preferring to stay put and unwind in your 5-person jacuzzi.
With a variety of rooms and social spaces, this cottage is ideal for all ages, with plenty to keep even the youngest of guests happy and some time and space to relax. A blissful family holiday is waiting for you at Criccieth Beach House.
Foundry House in Berwick-upon-Tweed
Sleeps: 10 | Bedrooms: 4 | No Pets | Rating: 4.9 / 5
A true holiday in style – this exquisite property is the definition of luxury, fully furnished to the highest quality. With room for up to 8 people, this is a great option for a family get-together, in a house bursting with charm and character.
The coastal town of Berwick sits on the Scottish border and is famed for its marine setting as the river Tweed runs straight through the town centre. The dramatic Northumberland coastline is a must-see for any beach-lover as it has so much to offer.
If the not-so-reliable Scottish weather has got the better of you then don’t worry – take a dip in your fully heated private hot tub to get your relaxation fix, even when the weather is not on your side!
The Boatman’s Loft in Yorkshire
Sleeps: 2 | Bedrooms: 1 | No Pets
If you’re looking for one of those remote, coastal cottages that are just about made for a couple, then I’d like to present one of the National Trust’s cottages, Boatman’s Loft.
It doesn’t get any more rustic than this (or any more close to the sea) than this property. It’s perched on the sea wall and offers some dramatic views of the Yorkshire coastline.
This property sits in Robin Hood’s Bay, a very popular location for visitors which is a historic 17th century fishing village. Things haven’t changed much here and cars and other public transport are limited, ensuring this is a fantastic peaceful place to walk around.
There’s no hot tub at The Boatman’s Loft but I’m including it due to its amazing location in this stunning part of the UK’s coast.
