Hot Tub Heaven in South Wales

We’ve been checking out some fantastic new lodges and cottages in Wales, with private hot tubs.  We have to say we were very pleasantly surprised by what we found!  So many wonderful cottages with hot tubs in and around Pembrokshire and beyond from stunning barn conversions to traditional Welsh stone retreats.

The Old Farm Shop

The Old Farm Shop in the Narbeth area of South Wales is contemporary couples’ hot tub break. The iterior is simply stunning and we love how the existing charm and character of the barn has been carefully blended into the super stylish and modern retreat it is today. If you’re looking for great base to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park then this place is ideal.

The heart of the Old Farm Shop is the kitchen/diner and other highlights include the lovely L shaped living room and the outdoor decking, which is perfect for taking in the views.

The hot tub is the ideal finishing touch to this idyllic holiday.

There are plans for further conversions to this property and from March 2024 there will be an additional bedroom and property will sleep 4. This would make it a gorgeous retreat for families.

In the local area there is plenty to do from exploring the local town of Narbeth and hopping on a boat to explore the imposing Caldey Island. Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is lovely for walks and sight seeing with an array of hidden coves, rugged cliffs and golden beaches.

One pet is welcome in this charming property.

Taf Cottage

Taf Cottage sits in the Llandeilo region of South Wales and sleeps 6 people. This lovely cottage sits within stunning farmland and is a great place to get together with friends or family for celebrations or to spend quality time together.

The stone front barn conversion is a charming place for a break and the cottage hosts are welcoming and friendly.

You can’t fail to be impressed by the views surrounding Taf Cottage, the Welsh countryside is beautiful in all weathers.

If you like to enjoy days out then you could head into the town of Llandeilo which has some historic sites including the 12th-century castle of Dinefwr.

The Brecon Beacons National Park is also amazing for exploring with walks, watersports, underground caves and even star gazing to enjoy here.

The Mill

The Mill is an absolutely stunning cottage with a unique mezzanine-style bedroom overlooking the main living room area.  Perfect for couples looking for a cosy and relaxing getaway in South Wales.

Located in the Penrhiwllan region, The Mill has a lovely open fire and an outdoor hot tub to really make the most of the outdoors and the setting.  As if this place couldn’t get any better you’re also just a short walk away from the pub!  The peace and quiet of this rural location has been loved by previous guests.

If you’re looking for a cottage in South Wales that’s both rustic and quirky then this could definitely be the place for you!  There are another two similar cottages alongside this one and they can be booked together for larger parties.
