We’ve chosen our favourite parks based on the things families love and have chosen lodges with indoor swimming pools on site as well and lots of activities for children and the whole family to enjoy.

A few of the lodges are close to a beach which is an added bonus for family fun!

1. Landal Gwel an Mor

Our top spot goes to Landal Gwel an Mor in North Cornwall.

Some of things that really stood out at this park are the panoramic ocean views and fantastic beach access. For kids the on site wildlife centre is a big hit. And of course the whole family love a hot tub!

Landal Gwel an Mor enjoys a stunning location on the Cornish coastline with views across the charming fishing village of Portreath.

The lodges themselves are quite simply stunning and furnished to a very high standard. It’s hard to choose a favourite type of lodge as they are all so nice. One example of a super lodge is the Residence Collection 2 which is a luxuurios lodge made from eco friendly materials and with hot tub and wood burner.

Reviews from previous guests have described their holidays as “brilliant” and “amazing”. Amenities include the Terrace Restaurant and Bar, Archery, 9 Hole Golf Course, Indoor Pool and much more.

2. Ladram Bay

Ladram Bay in South Devon is amazing for families of all ages due to the facilities and entertainment on offer. Not to mention the gorgeous Devon location. This award winning holiday park has a state of the art indoor heated pool including an interactive play area for children, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, gym and café.

There are also a whole host of other activities from climbing and fishing on your lodge break,  to an adventure playground and adventure golf. So much fun to be had! Devon is one of the most popular UK holiday destinations so we had to include this wonderful holiday park in our top list for families.

Kids love Ozzie the Otter Club which is all ran by the entertainments team on site. There are lots of accommodation options here at Ladram Bay and most are great for families.

3. Swandown Lodges in Dorset

These luxury lodges with hot tubs in Dorset are placed within the beautiful parkland of the renowned historic Cricket St Thomas Estate. One of the big attractions is the amazing leisure complex offering so much for families and couples.

You’ll find an indoor pool, spa, sauna and even a gym. For the outdoor lovers there is fishing, bike hire and an outdoor adventure trail. The nature walks in this area are stunning.

We love the Goldenhaye Lodge which sleeps 6 and has a hot tub, woodburner and is pet friendly too. You can take the whole family along! The Kittwhistle Lodge is also a brilliant option with some of the best views we have seen. Family holidays in the UK don’t come much better than this.
