Things to Do at Finlake

The leisure facilities on site are one of the real highlights of this park.  Finlake have expended much energy and resources into ensuring there is plenty to do for the whole family and not only that, but all of the facilities are well maintained and of excellent quality.

All tastes and ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular outdoor pursuits on site include tennis, a 9 hole approach golf course, coarse fishing lakes, horse riding and nature trails.  In fact there are so many opportunities to get active that Hoseasons have named this park as one of their “Active Break” destinations.

Of course there are also many indoor activities as well so no matter what the weather you can still be entertained.  Indoor amenities include a heated leisure pool, games room and modern gym.  For relaxation you can head to the sauna and steam room or perhaps the beauty and treatment centre.

Adults will love the dining options and leisure facilities as well as the glorious park setting to explore.  Children can enjoy the outdoor pool with fun water slide as well as the adventure playground.

Finlake Lodge Accommodation

The lodges have been well thought out and designed with space and comfort in mind.  From larger style family friendly lodges to cosy getaways for two there is something for everyone.

Woodland Deluxe Lodge 6 is a spacious 2 storey lodge with open plan living offering plenty of space.  Mod cons including a washer/dryer and dishwasher taka all the hassle out of your holiday leaving you free to enjoy yourself.

Stylish and luxurious touches such as under floor heating and a sauna make your stay extra special.  This lodge also comes with a balcony leading from the double bedroom and a private outdoor hot tub.  There are three bedrooms in total and the lodge comfortably sleeps 6. Pets are not permitted in this lodge.

One of our favourite lodges is the Superior Country Four Platinum which is a modern timber clad holiday home.

The open plan living space is well laid out and there is a private outdoor decking area with patio furniture.  Offering fantastic value for money this lodge sleeps 4 in two bedrooms.

For a real couples retreat the Woodland Honeymoon Lodge is highly recommended.

This is a superior lodge set out over two floors.  There is a private hot tub – the perfect way to relax.  Some of the hot tubs are under cover.

For parties of 4 or less then we like the Woodland Deluxe Lodge 4.  This large and airy lodge has 2 floors and sleeps up to 4 in two bedrooms.  The addition of underfloor heating makes this a cosy lodge all year round and there are luxury touches such as a sauna.  Families will appreciate the open plan living design and this lodge also comes with a private outdoor hot tub.  The kitchen is well equipped with all your could need for a self catering stay including a dishwasher and washer/dryer.

Caravans at Finlake

Traditional caravan accommodation provides a comfortable base for your holiday. Close to all of the park’s amenities the caravans offer a great value place to stay. The country 4 Platinum sleeps 4 and is a very budget friendly option.  However great value doesn’t mean you lose out on home comforts.  This is a stylish 12 ft caravan offering plenty of living space.  With one double and one twin bedroom this caravan would suit families.  A cot is available in the lounge area so couples with babies may also like to consider this caravan accommodation.  Outdoors you can enjoy your own private decking area with patio set.

The Country Four Plus Gold is a timber clad holiday home similar in internal space but has the addition of an outdoor hot tub.

For larger parties of 6 or less we love the Superior Country Six Plus Gold.  This superior style holiday home will appeal to those wanting great value combined with home comforts.  Laid out over one storey this is a spacious holiday home which sleeps 6 in three bedrooms.  As well as a well equipped kitchen and stylish living area this holiday home has the benefit of a private decking area outdoors and an amazing outdoor hot tub.
