Inside you’ll find a welcoming open plan living space with kitchen and dining areas, 4 double bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms. Plenty of space for the whole family to get together.
Chill out around the fireplace with a glass of wine in the cosy living room with a large HDTV and games console. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of mod cons including a dishwasher and washing machine.

There are a wide range of award winning restaurants in the local area to choose from. The Sun Inn is just a 9 minute drive away and has a great reputation. As an AA Pub of the Year and a Scottish Gastropub of the Year, you can be assured of fantastic quality. They also serve a good range of beers and wines.
The Coronation Inn is also recommended as one of the finest places to dine in the area. Just a 6 minute drive from Middleton Inn cottage you won’t have far to travel for excellent food and service.
If Italian is your thing then head for Gigi’s Italian Restaurant just 12 minutes away by car. This is a fun, family style restaurant established by a mother and son duo. Mouth watering dishes and service with a smile await!

Alpaca Treks 30 MIN DRIVE
Velvet Hall Alpacas gives you the unique opportunity to walk with an Alpaca in the beautiful Tweed Valley countryside. Trekking to meet all requirements with adorable Alpacas. (Age limit to actually walk Alpacas is 7 years old).
Borthwick Castle 5 MIN DRIVE or a 15 MIN WALK
So close to Middleton Inn! Borthwick Castle and Currie Woods is a 3.1 kilometer loop trail located 15 minute walk/5 minute drive from the property, and features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and running and you can access this all year round.
Pentland Hills 1 HR DRIVE
If you want to go a bit further afield then head for Pentland Hills Regional Park. You’ll find 100km of paths, including challenging hill walks and routes more suitable for families.
