August Bank Holiday Offers

When you work hard all year, the bank holidays can be precious.  Why not make the most of your time off work and get away from it all with a bargain hot tub holiday this August.

Whether you want to spend quality time with your family or your other half, there are plenty of luxury lodges with hot tubs to choose from.

And of course the weather in August is ideal for exploring the outdoors and taking in the scenic views. Lodge holidays can be great value for money too as the prices are per lodge and not per person, making them good value for families.

With locations around the UK it can be hard to know where to start looking.  We have set out below a few of our favourite lodges although there are too many lovely parks to mention.

Hengar Manor Country Park in North Cornwall

A fantastic choice for families with an indoor pool and lively activity programme for kids aged 3-7 called Go Juniors.  For adults the leisure centre is ideal, with pool side patio.  You will also find a mini gym, bar, coffee shop and Morellos Italian Restaurant on site.  Accommodation is a selection of charming lodges and cottages.  The Hengar Park Lodge Plus comes with a large 6 person outdoor hot tub and is stylished furnished throughout.

Westholme Lodges in Yorkshire Dales

Westholme Lodges would suit both families and couples, with beautifully designed lodges and a breathtaking location in the Yorkshire Dales.  The Westholme Maple VIP lodge is great value, it sleeps 4 and comes with private hot tub and ipod docking station.  On site you will find a restaurant and bar, so you won’t have to travel far for a meal or relaxing drink.

Heronstone Lodges in Powys

With a beautiful woodland setting, these lodges will really make you feel like you have escaped the stresses of daily life.  Lodges come with private hot tubs where you can relax and watch the world go by.  For couples we love the Ketsrel Lodge VIP which sleeps 2.  If you like the outdoors then these lodges will certainly appeal, with walking, fishing and nature right on the doorstep.  Swansea is just 15 miles from the park if you want to get out and explore a little further afield and perhaps indulge in some shopping or cafe culture.

Charlesworth Lodges in Derbyshire

These lodges would make a lovely romantic break for couples.  With a stunning location and modern luxurious lodges, this park provides a blend of natural surroundings and home comforts.  The Amour Lodge sleeps two and has a contemporary feel.  Extras such as the ipod docking station, secluded hot tub and spacious layout make this lodge extra special. The park itself enjoys a wooded hillside location with amazing views of the Peak District National Park.

Gurnard Pines on the Isle of Wight

Another option for families with everything to entertain close to hand.  The activity programme is very popular in the summer months, and you’ll also be close to some lovely beaches to spend sunny days.  The indoor pool on site is a real bonus too. Accommodation is a choice of modern, bungalow style villas set out over one floor.  The Solent Villa 3 Plus is ideal for families as it sleeps 6 and has an outdoor hot tub.
