Wold View Farm Reviews

"The lodge is perfect it has everything you could possibly need to self cater for your visit. The welcome pack for humans and dogs is a lovely touch! Those scones are amazing! The lodge is spacious and cosy."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Daniel welcomed us with a huge smile and gave us a tour of the lodge, advised how to contact him and then left us to unpack. There was also a beautiful welcome back of goodies and a information guide detailing places to go, eat and a history of the business itself. The lodge was cosy and quiet, simply decorated with everything you'd need while away from home. The view from the lounge/kitchen was vast with the same view from the hot tub.The cleanliness was outstanding and everything was in good working order. The location was perfect for exploring the wonders of East Yorkshire. Hornsea serves amazing fish & chips! The weather could have been kinder but it didn't spoil our family time, we have found our East Yorkshire holiday location and are certain you will too.We cannot recommend highly enough ??"

"Absolutely lovely stay for Christmas. My family couldn't of asked for better. We certainly will be back."
Tasha - Jan 2024
"Great log cabin one of the best really peaceful and relaxing just what we needed"
Andrew - Dec 2023
"Well wow, stunning accommodation , warm, inviting , pristine with everything you could possibly need plus the welcome pack on arrival, dog treats and of coarse my favourite scones with crme and jam. The hot tub was super and was a great way to relax and unwind and look at the stars above.Theres even a shower for the dog and a walkies paddock ! I would highly recommend this place as must go. Only 5 miles into Driffield which has all local amenities, 25 mins to Bridlington and an hour to York. Some good long dog walks too in the area. Please lower the TV, its a wee bit too high on the wall. A smaller rectangular casserole oven try would be useful too. Also perhaps in wet weather a pagoda would be useful over the hot tub. But these are very minor things and mere suggestions.Amazing..10/10"
Wes - Nov 2023
"We have had a perfect week escaping the world. Every little detail has been thought of, it is comfy and cosy. The wood burner and hot tub were the highlights for us"
Laura - Nov 2023

Luke - Jan 1970
"A really lovely lodge with luxury touches. The hot tub is huge and has amazing views. Highly recommend"
Amy - Jan 1970
"Fantastic Lodge, really well equipped and spotlessly clean. We tend to go on lodge breaks a few times a year and the Gamekeepers Lodge is definitely one of the best we have stayed in. Amazing countryside views whilst sat in the hot tub. Very private and secure site with a field for the dog to have a run. Every detail has been thought of and met to a very high standard. We made use of the log burner which everything is provided for and enjoyed making homemade pizzas using the pizza oven. The lodge has a real luxury feel. We would highly recommend staying here and will be looking to return."
Matt - Jan 1970
"Beautiful cabin with everything you need very peaceful setting with lovely views of countryside from hot tub owners have thought of everything welcome pack was a very nice touch also one for the dog thankyou for having us hope to visit again"
Jane - Jan 1970
"The lodge was brand new, absolutely spotless and very well equipped with everything you would need. The hot tub was huge and a perfect way to start and/or end the days, robes were also supplied. Lovely views across the fields when sitting on the decking or in the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and we all slept very well. The lodge was very very private and not overlooked which was perfect for a relaxing stay. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend "
Kelly - Jan 1970
"Absolutly beautiful place with gorgeous views from the cabin, Laura and Dan extreamly helpful and even got their doggo out to say hello :-) secluded enough to be out of the way of normal life but close enough drive to anything you need. Will 100% be returning for another break away and excited to see the end result of the expansion they are completing. Would recommend to anyone wanting some peaceful time away. Some lovely restaurants around aswel for some good food if you dont feel like cooking yourself, all information is found in the welcome file you have when you check in which was extreamly helpful"
Kimberly - Jan 1970
"Nice cabin had all the essential items needed"
Trevor - Jan 1970
"Had everything we needed and loved the little extra touches!"
Sally - Jan 1970
"The cabin was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and very well equipped, although the door frames were a little bit low for my 6ft 2 husband! The view from the hot tub was lovely - I only wish the weather had been better so we could have made more use of it! The welcome packs for both us and our dog were very much appreciated as was the free Wifi/Netflix!"
Carolyn - Jan 1970
"This Cabin was spotless and so comfortable and welcoming, the hot tub was amazing to relax in at the end of the day looking out over the beautiful views. This cabin had everything that you needed and more, so amazing, can't wait to be here again soon "
Steven - Jan 1970
"We loved our 4 night stay at wold view farm. Great views, wonderful welcome with welcome baskets, scones, tea, coffee, local ale and prosecco. Welcome basket for our dog as well. Log cabin was so cosy. Good size for 2 people, nice and private with a lovely view of the countryside and the cows in the field. We even saw rabbits hopping around. The log fire was a great touch and we cooked some fresh pizzas in there. Would absolutely recommend and would definitely return."
Bethanie - Jan 1970

"These wooden lodges are absolutely stunning! Beautifully made with everything you could need (& more) from a holiday lodge. We had a baby and a young child and everything was provided for them - included high chair and cot. The fire & hot tub were amazing! Really peaceful location & lovely hosts who own the cabins. "Lodge is just perfect. Literally everything you could need and more. Hot tub is perfect with amazing views x"
Charlene - Jan 1970
"Beautiful well presented cabin, great welcome boxes on arrival, nice and clean, not overlooked by other cabins as the are spread a good distance apart.
plenty to do locally we visited sledmere house and maze, the Tritan inn for Sunday lunch, Scarborough, the old star also had lovely food, Driffield leisure centre."
Lindsey - Jan 1970
"Log cabin was fabulous, everything we needed for a very chilled getaway."
Amanda - Jul 2022
"Great lodge in a spectacular location. Owners were extremely helpful to our last minute change of date due to a child medical emergency. The lodge was well kitted out with very good quality fixtures. The only additions I think would be beneficial would be a coffee machine for the morning caffeine fix and fly screens on some of the door/windows (given we had the hottest week so far and the flying critters were in full swing). Lots of great wildlife from owls to hares on constant volume and show, the hot tub was a real family pleaser. Allowing the four legged friends to come was also a great addition although a small fenced garden would be a great thing to add if space would allow. The welcome packs for both human and dogs were brilliant and gratefully received. Quality towels and robes throughout and smashingly comfortable and large beds in all rooms. Location is within reasonable commute to coastal towns and also York. Would happily recommend and also book again."
Simon - Jul 2022
"Immaculate lodge in a very private location although less than a mile from the main road. Within easy access to the coast and a relatively unspoilt main stret in Driffield with its Thursday Market."
Keith - Jul 2022
"A lovely break in lovely surroundings and excellent lodge easy to get to places but yet still feel away from it all"

"Absolutely fantastic break. Lodge was fantastic in a beautiful location. We've already booked again"

"Lovely cabin and really nicely thought out welcome baskets. Fluffy towels, cosy log burner and very nice hot tub. Really in the middle of nowhere so very quiet for a peaceful holiday."
Katrina - Apr 2022
"Had an amazing family weekend in the gamekeepers lodge. A lovely warm welcome from the owners and beautiful welcome baskets both for us and our dog. Stayed with my husband, two children, grandparents and our Labrador. Everyone had an amazing time and we would all definitely recommend."

Ria - Mar 2022

Rebecca - Mar 2022
"This has been the most wonderful wedding surprise from my husband for our mini honeymoon. Quiet relaxing and just plain perfect. The cabin is great with everything you might need, the welcome packs are also well thought out as they actually gave us a present and card, so thoughtful! The hot tub placement is excellent with being secluded With amazing views, especially at sunset, and with being so dark it’s perfect for seeing the stars on a clear night….yes and we did this even in February with temperatures at 6 degrees ? Basically a great place with great hosts, we will definitely come again and have already recommended this place to our friends and family. Thanks again for making this a wonderful experience"
Martin - Mar 2022
