"Lovely peaceful location. Accommodation very clean and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and welcoming Lodge 12 had un interrupted views. Although remote lots of lovely walks and lots places of interest close by. Would definitely recommend and would love to return."

"Absolutely perfect little break away.The cabin is perfect and the staff have thought off all the little things that you would normally forget, like loo rolls, linning the oven trays with foil, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, towels ect.The cabin itself is perfect it has an undercover porch with hooks, muddy boot trays an drying room with hooks, really comfy beds.The location is just a slice of heaven being in the hot tub in the middle of the mountains it's just perfect we didn't want to come home"

"We have just returned from a pre- Christmas week at Hartsop fold and we had an amazing time. The scenery just breathtaking and even more so when it snowed on our last day. Despite being pet friendly the lodges are very much cleaner than expected. The lodges are well equipped, smart tvs and a speaker came in very handy for watching Christmas movies and playing xmas songs. I love the fact they have a rechargable torch/ night light and the free laundry room was useful and extremely clean. Staff are seldom around but when they are, they are very friendly and helpful. The shower was powerful, beds comfortable and the hot tub was amazing to enjoy after climbing Red Screes. Thank you very much for a lovely holiday and we hope to be back soon."

"Lovely lodge, they really have thought of everything and although we never needed to use the drying room attached to the lodge it was one of the main reasons along with the hot tub why we chose Hartsop. The location is perfect for exploring the Ullswater area. I only have one suggestion which is that the fencing erected to the side of the veranda needs to be a little higher as we were looked onto by 4 other lodge verandas, it wouldnt block any views but would provide greater privacy"

"Fantastic lodge was spotlessly clean! Great location if you want nice and peaceful break with a short drive to busier areas in the day. The two ladies who greeted us and also waved us off home couldnt have been more helpful and informative. Laundry facilities, heating cupboards to dry wet clothes, hot tub, games. Was an all round wonderful weekend and we will definately return!"

"Amazing location, tucked away but within walking distance of local villages. The views are wonderful and waterfall 5 minutes away!! Lovely place to relax, enjoy wildlife and surroundings. Good quality lodge, very cosy and warm, lovely hot-tub. Even got a show from the training F15s on two mornings!! Highly recommend, though try out of peak season for best value for money."

"Back from a 3 night break, stayed in the Keswick Lodge. I am probably one of the fussiest people you could meet, however it was spotless and given that dogs are welcome there was no bad smells. Very comfortable stay with everything you would need. Would definitely return."
