"Was a lovely time away, staff helpful, hotub lovely and a lovely quiet location."

"Awful. Myself and my partner stayed in number 12 moonshadow rise. The toilet seat in the bedroom was cracked the light was handing down. The blind in the living room was broke. We told reception about the toilet seat and blind and the man said he would pass it onto maintenance. Which he didnt. I asked the maintenance man when he came for the hot tub and he said no one communicated with him but he will come back. Which he did. However did not fix the blind. Left us without one and left us without a toilet seat. The carpet was old and stained and was torn under the dinning room table. The cupboard in the hallway had used latex gloves shoved on the floor and out last night which was 16th march, we could hear scratching, it appeared to be a rat. The furniture on the decking was rusty. This overall ruined the whole experience. However the gym and the swimming pool was great."

"Holiday from hell.Not having our booking logged so they were unaware we were coming.From no gas - no heating nor hot water.Thick cobwebs everywhere.Thick black mold in bathroom on celling.Different strands of dog hair inside our bed under the bedsheets everywhere, the smell of the lodge made my 3 year old son sneeze all night.All complaints logged with site manager."

"Comfort Lodge with Hot Tub nice modern lodge , however cream furniture showed up marks and stains . Hot Tub broke after two nights. Staff quickly offered us a partial refund or similar Lodge. Quiet site with decent pool and Gym, nice cafe with friendly staff. Good locality for nearby Towns. * Kitchen tap fell off on last night causing hot water to spray over neck and arms which caused minor reddening /irritation. As it was 7.30pm used out of hours contact who arrived promptly to isolate water feed with no water to lodge. We made the decision to leave that night allthough Im sure the issue would have been fixed had we stayed. Was informed the manager would be in touch but we have not been contacted. All in all it was a pleasant stay."

"The superior holiday home wasn't very superior. It was a standard caravan that was wider than normal - nothing superior about it. Fridge freezer was broken, but they did put a small under counter one between the kitchen and living area. The decking was terribly slippery and slimy - it's needs a power wash desperately. Beds were somewhat comfortable for caravan beds, although short so feet dangled off the end. The comfort plus hot tub holiday home was a lot more superior, even though comfort plus is a lower class. Even though we're not hot tub people, I would book that accommodation next time as they appear to be a lot nicer than the ones without, regardless of class."

"Had a great family holiday and would recommend. Very good location and great staff. The cleaning of lodge could have been a lot better. The hover really smelled when used and kitchen needed cleaning on arrival .didnt like key system tbh a normal key would have been better Im not sure why they thought the extra fuss would be necessary. But overall a great holiday"

"Expensive for what it was, inadequate lighting and signage to holiday home. Not very well equipped to cook a Christmas dinner, kitchen was small, tumble dryer didnt get hot. No tvs in bedrooms but had an Ariel in master bedroom. Christmas tree was a nice touch."

"Bath panelling was dirty, hoover was out of date, had to move the shed because was blocking the gate, no spare bedding in case of accidents.. not ideal when theres young kids. Otherwise the lodge being right on the dog field was fantastic for us with our Labrador, plenty of room in the lodge for his crate, loved the dishwasher and washer dryer. Lots of space for little one to have a play"

"The lodge was lovely and clean. It had everything you could need. The hot tub was an added bonus."

"We stayed about 3 years ago and it was absolutely brilliant! So this time we decided to come along with some people. We booked a dog friendly caravan. We expected some marks on the carpet. But they were on the sofa and the sofa was in poor condition. It had tares in the fabric. It was also just overall dirty. It was dusty. One of our towels were dirty. We also had a couple of issues. I called up reception about all of the lights flickering in the living room and about how dirty it was. One of our freezer draws was also frozen shut. The cleaners came straight away. They gave us throws for the sofas and also give us a new towel but didn't do any cleaning. One of us staying had epilepsy and they said they would send maintenance but no one had turned up. We stayed in waiting and no one turned up. We had to chase this up the next day. They turned up and basically said they couldn't do anything with the freezer. They also said that they might not be able to fix all of the lights. We explained this would impact on the person's health. Luckily he said we could go out and when we came back. All the lights were fixed. The outside area- none of the outside lights were working, this was difficult with the hot tub.Pillows were thin and not very comfortable."

"Brilliant lodge, very spacious and kitted out with everything you need. We were very impressed. The cleanliness of the lodge was good and the maintenance team were great at fixing our broken bathroom light very quickly. Highly recommend!"

"Had a lovely week at Devon Hills, very peaceful site and lovely views. The comfort lodge we stayed it was very spacious, and there was plenty of space for 4 adults. The only thing would be if 6 people were staying in the lodge, there was only patio furniture for 4. We picked a good week weather wise to. Would definitely recommend."
