"We were very happy with the accommodation and parking. There were walks round site for walking dog, or just walking. The site was very beautiful, but woodlands and forests are our favourite place. As far as we could see, most people with dogs were respectful, and dogs we saw were on leads. There were dog bins placed strategically round site."

"A beautiful log cabin next to the pond. Everything was catered for and it felt very peaceful. Would have liked somewhere to put a disposable barbecue but we managed to create our own safe area on the decking."

"Lovely stay. Lots to do on-site. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and range of activities offered on a Saturday out of season. 9am check out seemed a bit unnecessary. Cuts a 2 night stay down to very much one day and feels much less value for money."

"Enjoyed stay so much, we tried to extend it but sadly it was fully booked. Excellent leisure facilities - shame the 2nd Jacuzzi wasn't working as the functioning one got full in the evenings. Extensive menu and tasty food in the restaurant - loved the mocktails. The site was quiet and well maintained with lovely walks in the adjoining wood. It is well situated for the forest of Dean attractions, Welsh borders and even the Cotswolds. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was our 1st stay in this area and we hope to return very soon."
