"The lodge was dated & basic. Not worth the price paid. Extra blankets would have been nice as it got cold at night. Living area chairs/sofa not comfortable. A missing tv in the bedroom. The bracket was there though! No oven glove or chopping board in the kitchen. Nor salt & pepper. The WiFi had extremely poor connection, often dropping out & you have to pay £10 to access. The hot tub was the only nice thing."

The sinks and showers were very slow draining.Kitchen was very well fitted and utensils galore.Able to get a Tesco drop off to the door. Bit more TLC is needed before the lodge becomes a bit unsightly is needed"

"I liked my stay but few things they doesnt show you when you book with them. They dont have any swimming pools but pictures show they do which is not part of the holiday park. Thats part of the hotel and you have to pay for that. Check in time is 4:30 and they will not let you check in early even if you request them and check out time is 9:00 am which is really unfair! Everywhere its 10:00 but they wont allow you late check out. The sofa was filled with dog fur when we arrived and my husband had to hoover for good 40 minutes to remove that. Nothing much to explore in the park itself. For the price I would say its unfair. Other than that rest of the things were ok."

"We absolutely loved staying in the manor house, exceeded our expectations. Very peaceful and remote, so walking anywhere is quite a distance. Loads to do within an hours drive though. The pool table was an excellent addition along with the hot tub."

"Had a lovely stay at Pen Y Garth lodges with 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. The park is a lovely peaceful park with a children play area and indoor games room along with a small shop for essentials. The park is a great base to explore the local area with Bala Lake only 5 minutes away, along with Bala town with a number of pubs and shops. Barmouth beach is only 45 minutes drive away and is lovely for a visit."

"Lodge is absolutely beautiful, as is the site. It has everything you could possible need in the accommodation. Ideally situated for exploring all day, with the added bonus of the hot tub to chill after a long day. None of us wanted to come home."

"Lovely luxurious lodges, beautiful surroundings very peaceful, Only issues I had were you can’t check in till 4.30 so the first day as gone and you have to be out by 9am far to early especially when you have to strip bedding, Put towels in laundry bags, empty all the bins as well as packing your car up and getting everyone fed and out by 9am, When I asked why they said due to cleaning and Covid etc it could take 3 hours per lodge to clean, which I do understand, but there was bags of water balloons from previous guests stuffed down the back of the side cabinet so not been cleaned / checked over properly. I wasn’t looking for anything to moan about I found them purely because we had problems with the Wi-Fi so I looked see we had the right plugs plugged in. Other than that it was a beautiful week in a beautiful Lodge - They just need to tweak the times of check in and check outs and it would be 10/10"

"Stayed in Lodge 53. Great as the hot tub is a but more secluded. The lodge was huge and had no issues. The park is well kept and has some amazing views. It's less than a 5 min drive into Bala. Would highly recommend this parc and will definitely be back."
