"Just perfect"

"We had a really lovely stay at Otters Mead. Mary Ann and Gary were the perfect hosts and made us and the children very welcome. The lodge was spotless and well equipped. The hot tub and fairy lights were perfect. Lots to do for the children within a short drive away. We look forward to returning."

"What a spacious and clean lodge in peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Received a wam welcome from the host along with fresh flowers and welcome packages including milk, wine, tea, coffee and shampoo and conditioner. The lodge was clean and beds were made and enough towels. We stayed in Mead 2, sleeps four with two bedrooms. Master bedroom included en-suite shower room, double bed and a walk in wardrobe with enough hanging space, iron and ironing board. Master suite included TV, dressing table and hair dryer. Second bedroom was a twin bed room with spacious wardrobe, dressing table and TV. Shared bathroom with bath was next door. Kitchen included everything you needed for a family of four plus dishwasher and washer-dryer. They had even thought about plastic glasses for use around the hot tub. Hot tub was at the back and was private. Was lovely to relax on an evening with the twinkle of the fairy lights. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Plenty to do on a day if you wanted to get out and about. Lots of pubs in the surrounding area for lovely pub meals. We went in tow Norwich one day which is about 40 minutes drive and went to the seaside., Great Yarmouth, which was around an hour away. We stayed for four nights from Bank Holiday Monday and had a perfect relaxing break. Would definitely recommend and would look to book again."

"Our Otters Mead Boutique Lodges review: We stayed in Mead two for 5 days, the welcome package was a really big surprise as we weren't expecting as much, we have stayed in several Holiday parks and this one gave alot more items therefore we didn't need to bring most of the essentials with us. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed and was like a home from home and was very comfortable. The onsite shop has everything you need at very low prices. We met the owners on arrival and departure which was an added bonus and they were very welcoming. I would highly recommend this holiday park as we all had a brilliant time and would definetly return."

"Honestly, we were really impressed with how spotless everything was - its such a change from places that feel a bit neglected. The small business vibe really shows, as you can tell the owners genuinely care about your stay. Some small suggestions: having a second key would be handyand clearer instructions for the fire and boiler would help. Spare pillows and blankets would be a bonusand a dressing gown for the hot tub would be lovely. Also, itd be great if the fridge was turned on when we arrived and if there was a recycling bin provided. Overall, quite a lovely stay!"

"We stayed at the lodge recently and honestly, it was a lovely experience. The place looked almost brand new, super cleanand everything was in perfect working order. The towels, linenand gowns provided were top-notch, making us feel really pampered. Its quite spacious too, which was great. The heating was easy to control, so we were always cosyand we loved the electric fire with the big TV and DVD player for chill-out evenings. The kitchen was well stocked, though with plates and cutlery for two, we didnt really need to use the dishwasher much. Overall, its a fantastic spot for two exploring Norfolk - wed definitely recommend it as a comfy base!"

The owner, Gary, was super friendly and always ready to help, which made our weekend even better. We had a tiny hiccup with the hot tub, but he sorted it out quickly. "A great place to stay. The location is great and very central so nowhere is too far. The lodge had everything we needed, was really clean and beautifully presented. The hot tub was well used by us all. The only thing that we would like to see added is a couple of recliner type chairs at the back by the tub as it was the only shady spot!
