Deeside Holiday Park Reviews

"Nice to be treated to luxury accommodation on holiday. Having 2 bathrooms with a family of 5 (including 3 older teenagers) was fantastic. Lounge really comfortable and easy to relax in. Liked that the veranda was lockable to could have all the doors open and let the dog roam free knowing he couldn't get out. Bed really comfortable.

Really minor point. It would have been good to have instructions for the microwave and dishwasher. Got the microwave working of a fashion by pressing random buttons. Didn't understand the dishwasher settings. Tried loads of different combinations but the top shelf items always had gritty bit stuck to them after a wash"

"After a tricky start when the electricity failed in our cabin (although the staff we dealt with were very helpful and apologetic about this), we would thoroughly recommend staying at this holiday park. It was handily placed for forest walks and was a short drive from Aberdeen too."
Scott - Jul 2020
"A great time had by all, but over far too quickly"
Jackie - Jan 2020
"The glamping pod was excellent. You have your own bathroom with shower, kitchen facilities and television. The pod is very nice and a heating unit for the cold mornings."
James - Jan 1970
"Nicest pet friendly lodges weve ever stayed in"

"Caravan was really nice and comfortable. Loved using the hot tub, only downside being the weather that prevented us from using it a couple of days."
Lorraine - Jan 1970
"Deeside Holiday park was absolutely fantastic, my whole family, including our dogs, really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was in very good condition, was absolutely spotless and was nice and warm and comfortable during our stay. The dog walk onsite was superb and there were plenty of bins around the park too. My kids really enjoyed the hot tub and were even in it when it was raining! Nice to see the hot tub cared for on a daily basis by your staff. Cant wait to stay here again."

Steven - Jan 1970
"Clean and tidy, very accommodating site. Really impressed with the new number plate barrier to prevent non residential or booked persons entering the site. Felt secure"
Adele - Jan 1970
"The lodge and hot tub overall were to a really high standard. The heating was plenty warm enough and this had all the facilities you would need such as dishwasher / oven microwave/ washing machine etc....

If I was picky (none of this affecting the quality of the holiday we had) I would say the kitchen cupboards had veneer peeling off them and so didnt look great. There was also no bath mats for inside the bath for showering so we bought one as my elderly Mum was staying with us and we were concerned she may slip when showering.

We would recommend and would certainly return if we visit that area of Scotland again."
Sarah - Jan 1970
"Lovely long weekend spent with family in 2 of the lodges. Lovely park and good bas for exploring the surrounding area. Lodges are great, well equipped and very clean."
Catherine - Jan 1970
"We loved the lodge and hot tub - perfect for a winter break.

We had a problem with the heating the first evening, however it was swiftly dealt with. The staff were friendly and efficient.

We would definitely go back to this lodge it offered luxury and did not let us down."

"We stayed with our granddaughter , terrific time lodge was perfect very clean and a good set up with gated entrance , felt safe for all."
James - Apr 2022
"We have just returned from a lovely, relaxing week at Deeside holiday park. Our van was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had those additional items you forget to take like washing up liquid, loo roll, tea towels etc which was a great added touch. The hot tub is as great addition and it was nice to see a member of the team tending to it each morning to keep it topped up and clean. We stayed over Easter and after returning to the site after a day in Aberdeen we were greated at our van door with Easter Eggs and a gift bag full of goodies for the children which was an unexpected but very thoughtful and a lovely touch for the kids which made their day. Thank you for a great week Deeside, we will definitely be returning!"
Sophie - Apr 2022
"Really lovely trip away. Accommodation spotless. Hot tub well maintained. Grounds well looked after. Staff excellent and very helpful. Only thing that could be improved was that the crockery and glasses did not look particularly clean on arrival. I would have washed them before use in any case, but it was slightly off putting. Absolutely wouldn’t put us off staying again. Kids loved it too and are desperate to go back."

Susan - Nov 2021
"Very quite site ideal for chill out break."
Robert - Nov 2021
"Lovely, spotlessly clean static caravan .Very comfortable for two adults and two young children . The only negative is having to leave at 10am and you don't get in until 4pm so actually losing two days holiday."
Fiona - Nov 2021
"Lovely quiet site. Whole place was very clean and tidy. Caravan was excellent, as was the hot tub."
Ann - Oct 2021
"Lovely week away staying at Deeside holiday park in the deluxe firs 3 lodge. The lodge was a lot nicer and more equipped than expected. We forgot our travel cot and when I phoned the staff they were there right away with one. The park is in a great location if your willing to drive it’s so close to Aberdeen, Stonehaven etc. All in all a great holiday."
Sophie - Oct 2021
"Excellent holiday. Bit of a drive to do things as the location is rural but makes it even more perfect as it is quite and peaceful. The hot tub was checked daily and cleaned when needed. Caravan was stunning comfy and cosy. Dogs loved the ducks and rabbits to watch doing there own thing. Overall fantastic staycation"

So much more than a garden centre this place is ideal for a fun family day out in Angus. The garden centre stocks a huge range of plants, outdoor furniture and gardening equipment and also has a café serving tasty home made meals, cakes and snacks. The site has a large outdoor play area for children an ornamental pond and country park to explore. Halloween and Bonfire night's events are coming up soon. The annual Fireworks Display is really spectacular.
