Set in the ancient woodland of the Lake District's Whicham Valley, these stylish Scandinavian lodges are overlooked by the stunning Blackcombe and Whitecombe hills. Viken Lodge is a superb two-storey lodge with spectacular views across the Whicham Valley. It sleeps up to eight people and has a double bedroom with en-suite shower and sauna and two twin rooms, both with ensuites. It also has a pull down double bed in the living room, plus a spacious deck with outdoor hot tub.

This beautiful part of the country offers a wealth of sights and activities. You could try Heavy Horse Riding on a Clydesdale, Shire or Ardennes horse at the equestrian centre just two minutes away, or visit Silecroft Beach for a gentle stroll.  There is a lovely dog friendly bar on site.

These lodges are conveniently located a short drive from Muncaster Castle which is a fabulous place to visit especially if you are staying during Halloween, their Halloween event is not to be missed!
