Stately is another new lodge, and this bigger holiday home sleeps up to five people, with three bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite, and there is another main bathroom. Enjoy the sun from the outdoor furniture or hot tub, situated on the decking outside. Rivendale offers a cosy and homely feel for a family of four. In the evening, watch a film in the comfortable living space and once the kids are in bed, the parents can soak in the hot tub.
The quaint village of Langham is only a 15-minute walk away, and this is a great place for a relaxed walk and a stroll through the shops or getting a drink. There are a couple of welcoming pubs available in the centre, including The Noel Arms which has a real rustic feel. Oakham is a county town a 50-minute walk away from the park, or alternatively just over five minutes away in the car.
The Larder is a great place for a sweet treat, or enjoy a sophisticated afternoon tea at Castle Cottage Café. Take a walk through the Rutland Water Nature Reserve, where there are beautiful views of the stunningly well preserved wetland and look out for the breeding ospreys. For an adventurous day out, try out kayaking or paddle boarding amongst other activities at Aqua Park Rutland.
