About Clarach Bay Holiday Village

A truly magnificent coastal location with direct access to a sandy bay makes Clarach Bay Holiday Village one of the hidden holiday gems in Wales. Surrounded by breath-taking golden beaches, picturesque resorts and historical sites, Aberystwyth boasts wonderful options catering to all interests.

The indoor heated pool, onsite clubhouse and restaurant, soft play area, amusements and fairground are just some of the amenities the park has to offer. With a golf club and a leisure centre within close proximity of the holiday village you can make the most of the great amenities close by.

The Platinum Select Plus is a top of the range modern caravan with a double bedroom and twin bedroom. Centrally heated, the caravan also has a beautiful sun deck with an outdoor hot tub to relax in and spend the evening looking at sunsets.

The Lodge 3 Plus is another accommodation with one double and one twin bedroom with overhead bunk. An open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen and central heating add to the charm of this beautiful lodge. The sun deck and outdoor hot tub makes this the home away from home.

With numerous activities on site to entertain both the children and the adults, it is difficult to leave the grounds of the holiday village.

It would be shame not to explore this fantastic areas of Wales though and the Cregennan lakes or the Ynys-hir in Machynlleth (a mixture of Welsh oak woodland and salt marshes) is a perfect adventure. You might see flycatchers, marsh harrier, hen harrier, peregrine, sparrowhawks and many other birds in the region making it a truly unforgettable experience for anyone who loves wildlife too.

Clarach Bay Holiday Village Reviews

"Really happy with the caravan few little things we noticed 1 glass was cracked the boiler door in the ensuite kept falling off but still really happy, hot tub was a lovely addition"
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"The caravans are clean and have most things you need. Oven takes forever to cook but is perfectly usable. Beds are comfortable but don't expect alot of space.Biggest let down is privacy - hot tub and terrace are overlooked by the adjoining caravan which also is in direct sight of your windows, we had to keep our curtains closed so maybe a screen or privacy glass put in would help."
Jogr - Aug 2024
"Wouldn't hire this kind of van again"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Very big site and soo spread out. You need to have a platinum to have any form of nice facilities"

"very old fashioned, not dog friendly doors facing the road with no safe place for them to be outside caravan, bathroom old fashioned pink suite, duvet only just fitted the top of the bed more like a single,"
Michelle - Nov 2023
"Extremely Happy with the lodge. Very Clean inside. Loads of storage. Lots of room for the 6 of us. A welcome pack was waiting for us with wine and beer.A fabulous coffee machine. Dishwasher, washing machine with a large enough fridge and freezer. Customer service came to check everything was OK.The hot tub was perfect. Very clean and private. It's a 10+ minute walk to facilities tho, but the plus side is it is very peaceful"
Heidi - Nov 2023
"Had a lovely holiday at clarach bay and our lodge was amazing we had no faults whatsoever definitely recommend everything was excellent. All staff very welcoming and helpful but wasnt enough evening entertainment for familys and couples I would say and the closing at 10.30 wasnt enjoyable for us I think last orders at the bar at 10pm was a bit early on your summer hols. We enjoyed our holiday there we were recommended it by a family friend and we are glad we got to go but not sure if we would go again. Thank clarach bay."
Gillian - Nov 2023

"The caravan was great, and we paid a great price for a great holiday, ????"
Keith - Jul 2023
"When offering pet friendly caravans it would be beneficial to have a small decking area."
Dawn - May 2023
"We love Clarach Bay"
Colin - May 2023
"Caravan was a bit dated with no central heating or double glazing, so could get cold and lots of condensation. Fireplace stopped working. But was very clean throughout and everything you need was provided. Plus the beds were really comfortable. I would go again for the price."
Robert - Apr 2023
"Really good holiday had by all wished we could have stayed longer"
Julie - Aug 2020
"The caravan itself was clean and tidy and condition was fine, our issues with the caravan is that there was no table or chairs on the Decking, especially considering what we paid for the caravan. My wife wasn't happy about cupboard space as we both think the space inside the bedrooms wasn't utilised well but after a day or so we got used to it, also no fridge freezer which we've had perviously when renting a Gold Caravan - also the table and chairs, again you adapt and it didin't put a big spoiler on things but in future I'll be asking if both are inculded, these aren't perks but average requirements."
Stephen - Aug 2020
"The caravan was ok. There wasn't much space around us for deck chairs."
J M - Jul 2020
"Our stay at Clarach Bay Holiday Village was absolutely fantastic. The accommodation was superb and the staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend. A+"
Rachel - Aug 2022
"Fantastic family holiday!!!!"
Georgie - Aug 2022
"Two things that i would like to see are somewhere to get vegi food and bacon butties/brunch/hot drinks in a morning."
TERESA - Aug 2022
"Excellent food including wood fire pizza, traditional fish and chips and burgers, crepes, ice cream. Bed extremely comfortable. Type of customers are disappointing as they complained over prices which were actually reflective of the current climate. Seagulls noisy, but still had a great sleep. Really helpful staff and good evening entertainment."
Melanie - Aug 2022
"The location is great, it has direct access to the beach. There are plenty of food options and we found the pricing very reasonable. The caravan was great too, it had everything we needed for our stay and It was spotlessly clean. The location of the caravan was also great, at first we were a little concerned as it was right next to the pool but there wasn’t too much noise apart from the seagulls on the roof. The park facilities such as the pool and entertainment were also good. We took our 3 year old granddaughter and she had a great time, there was plenty to keep her entertained. The staff were all friendly and more than happy to help. The only negative thing was the chippy. They only cook one order at a time which caused a backlog and long waiting time. We would definitely recommend this park and would return."
Verified Guest - Jul 2022
"Lovely place, very happy, friendly staff, Ffion at the swimming pool was great too."
Mike - Jul 2022
"Lovely site in a fabulous location. The caravan was first rate and we had a warm welcome from the staff. Lost a point for on site facilities as we didn't use all of them so can't comment, but there was plenty to do! Would definitely visit again and recommend. (Remember to log out of your Netflix when you leave...!) ?"
Karen - Jul 2022
"Lovely site quite friendly staff caravan was clean the only issue I had was the rubbish being left on the site and beach needs more maintenance to ensure this doesn't happen apart from that it's a lovely place"
Jenifer - Jul 2022
"Caravan was clean in a lovely position comfortable really enjoyed it"
Karen - Jul 2022
"I only booked this on a whim, best decision I ever made. Superb location, onsite facilities are brilliant, staff are friendly and so helpful, evening entertainment in the club is brilliant. Everything is very clean. Would recommend 100%. Defo booking again for 2023"
