Nant-y-Coed Lodges Reviews

"credit to the owners lovely setting and no cheap tat"
Fiona - Aug 2020
"Such a lovely lodge everything you could possible need had been thought of. Felt so luxurious with all the decoration and attention to detail, just as good as a 5star hotel. Such a lovely place to relax and explore Wales.

Jess was so lovely and helpful when we had any question. The guidebook which was emailed over before our arrival and was so informative of everything we needed to know about the lodge and great recommendations for places to go to and eat at.

Felt so safe and reassured with all the measures they had put in place due to Covid."
Bryony - Aug 2020
"A very enjoyable and relaxing break."
Gareth - Feb 2020
"Beautiful lodge, hot tub outside perfect scenery!"
Mimie - Jan 2020
"We spent a relaxing week in this very cosy and comfortable micro lodge. The hot tub was excellent. The lodge was warm and modern. The bed was very comfortable."
Neil - Jan 2020
"We had such a fantastic time staying in Stu and Jesss lodge. Its the perfect location if youre looking for somewhere remote to stay - the surroundings were extremely peaceful and the lodge has a great view down to the woods and stream. The facilities were state of the art and brilliant, the hot tub perfect. The lodges are laid out in a way that youre barely aware of the other lodge and you feel completely alone - perfect if youre on a romantic break. Jess and Stu went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. We would definitely recommend booking the lodge for a peaceful and secluded romantic retreat. Thanks so much!"
Ross - Jan 2020
"Had a brilliant stay at this lodge just after Xmas, the peaceful and beautiful surroundings really complimented the lodge as I was a really cosy and relaxing stay. The owners were more than helpful during our stay, going out of their way to ensure we had the best holiday we could. Even taking it upon themselves to ring around local pubs and find out where would be serving food on a Sunday evening. The Christmas decorations really gave the lodge a homey feel and I feel this was a very nice and thoughtful touch for the guests staying over the Xmas period. I would definitely recommend this lodge and area"

"So much better than i thought. Lodge was gorgeous and everything had been thought of. We were lucky with the weather only issue would be if rained theres no outside cover or heater. Will stay again! Oh and the pillows were far too thick for me, would rather have 2 thinner pillows so have a choice of thickness."

"Me and my boyfriend stayed in the Oak Tree lodge for 3 nights and we were completely blown away. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left - the whole experience was incredible and we were gutted to leave. The lodge was immaculately clean, tidy and decorated to an extremely high standard. The bed was the comfiest we have slept in, everything we needed could be found in the lodge and it was overall faultless. Jess made us feel welcome and stayed in touch via text message and was on hand for anything we needed. We will definitely be returning and have recommended to our friends & family. Thank you for an amazing stay!!"

"We have just completed a stay in the Silverbirch Lodge for 7 nights and it was the most amazing December getaway! This accommodation is no less than perfection, with the owners thinking of every small detail you can imagine to make this special place feel like a home away from home. To begin, we felt fully prepared for what we would need and what plans to make due to the incredibly thorough digital guidebook that Jess and Stuart sent us. Its the first time weve used one of these and it was so helpful in every way. The guidebook covers everything the lodge provides, arrival/departure information, recommendations for food, the local area, & useful contact numbers. We referred back to this a lot and it was great.

The family really have thought of everything, from the kitchen amenities having hot chocolate and marshmallows, to creating ready made picnic rucksacks and blankets ready for a trip to the BBQ area by the streamside. The interior is completed by modern chic accessories with a cabin feel to compliment the location. Theres a sound system which you can connect your own media to which was a nice touch whilst cooking. The bed is not something you will want to leave as it is the comfiest we have slept in. Ever. The entire lodge is spotless for cleanliness too, which is comforting in times such as this. Theyve got hand sanitizer on arrival and use the NHS track & trace too.

If you fancy going for a night time trip to the BBQ/Fire Pit like we did, wed highly recommend it. We took some nibbles, mulled wine in a flask and lit the fire, listening to the sound of the stream next to us and having a blanket of clear night sky above us. Peaceful doesnt even cover it.

The views from both the lodges and the stream side area are beautiful, with lots of area to explore. From the hot tub, you can on look trees and clear skies, with animals just roaming the fields to your right.

As we were leaving, the family were even bringing Christmas trees, home made wreaths and festive decor for the lodges too. We thought this was such a nice touch for the Christmas period and we were only sad that we werent there to enjoy them! We travel about a lot and this has to be our top favourite place we have visited. Will definitely be visiting again."
Emily - Jan 1970
"We loved every second here! We cant wait to come back"
Bethany - Jan 1970
"Fantastic stay in Silver Birch - such a lovely lodge, ideal for a romantic break or relaxing escape from reality. So many small touches make it a really special space. As per previous reviews, the bed is huge and very comfortable! The outdoor space is gorgeous with the hot tub, patio area and covered seating with table top fire feature. Everything has been thought of here and we had all that we needed for the perfect break. The lodge was spotless and all felt really safe with the Covid measures in place. Excellent communication from Jess both before and during our stay. Highly recommended."
Catherine - Jan 1970
"We spent a wonderful long weekend in Silver Birch and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.
We used the Streamside area where it was lovely to listen to the birds and the brook and recharge our batteries."
Nicola - Jan 1970
"Stunning lodge in beautiful surroundings staff where very helpful and friendly"
Paula - Jan 1970
"Best place to stay if you want a relaxing break away and to recharge your batteries"
Kelly - Jan 1970
"We stayed in oak tree lodge and pictures online dont do it any justice, the view is amazing and the lodge is epic. Me and my wife have stayed in plenty of hot tub lodges and this one really stands out as the best.immaculate and pristine lodge with everything you need and just the perfect location.
There is a pub 10 mins walk away at the bottom of the hill which is nice and to walk into Newtown takes around 50 mins which we did and got a taxi back. If you have the opportunity to go to this fantastic lodge do not hesitate. Oh and we met Sophie who looks after the lodges on arrival who was really helpful and stayed in touch with us"
Martin - Jan 1970
