Maesmawr Farm Resort Reviews

"So comfortable, had everything we needed. If I had to mention something, we had no key for the main door so had to use the patio doors. We just rearranged the mats so we were not mucking up the living area floor"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Me & my partner was very happy with the lodge & hot tub and facilities in the lodge was perfect.Me and my partner was a tad upset on the second day as we got followed by a red car around the park as we arrived late on the first night we didnt get chance to look around so we looked around on the 2nd day and we got stopped by the owner (we are assuming) asking us why we are looking around and questioning us about a situation that happened previous about a car rooming around the park at 4am. We understand safety of residents is important but it just put a bit of a downer on the day, the lady was very apologetic though. Overall we did have an amazing time and we are planning on going back in May for my partners birthday."
Grace - Feb 2024
"Condor Lodge comes with a large decking with hot tub. The master bedroom has a walk in wardrobe, and the twin room was a decent size. Wi-fi was available in the lodge. The kitchen has a 50/50 fridge and freezer, and there is a wine cooler and dishwater. There is a large roll-top bath in the bathroom, and a shower in the ensuite large enough to fit 2 people."
Timothy - Nov 2023
"Luxury accommodation. Peaceful, tranquil and wonderfully relaxing. Scenery stunning, and green, even rainy days couldnt spoil it. Hot tub was a bonus but you couldnt beat the bath inside. Very large lodge despite it being for only 2 people, and the dog. Easy distance to walk into village if you wanted to venture out but I loved the time to read a book, in peace. Will definitely book again."
Dominique - Nov 2023
"Just back from a short break October half term. Lodge was absolutely stunning! Beautifully decorated with a contemporary slightly industrial look. Felt very special and the hot tub was great too. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the hot tub was checked twice a day then completely emptied and cleaned at the end of your stay. Was spotless. The village which is about a 15 min walk away had a couple of small convenience stores, a couple of pubs and a fish and chip shop. However, although it was October half term the pubs were closed Monday and Tuesday and the takeaway had very limited opening hours being 9 hours for the whole week. So I would recommend taking all the food supplies you need and cook in the lodge. The seasons cafe which isn't far at all is open daily and do a great bacon roll but closes early. Had a fabulous completely relaxing time."

Sandra - May 2023
"An amazing holiday and no complaints at all."
Kayleigh - Aug 2020
"Nice spacious lodge with lovely decking area and a nice hot tub. Well equipped kitchen with everything needed when we cooked our own meals. A couple of things inside the lodge could be improved, the flooring in the lounge/kitchen area was quite worn in places and the sofa had stains on. Lovely dog walking area where we could let our dog off the lead for a good run around and throw his ball."
Kate - Aug 2020
"Beautiful accommodation and surroundings, peaceful as well. Lovely welcome basket was a nice touch too. Will definitely look to return."

"I have been all over mid and north wales, so this was a great location to have as a home base for our stay, pretty much in the middle of most tings around. The lodge was lovely and well equipped. My wife and i had an amazing stay eve through storm Denis. Would recommend these to anyone, as they are great value for money."
Steven - Feb 2020
"The staff at maesmawr farm resort are absolutely amazing. We had spoke to Ceri for a while and planned a proposal up there and sent items to be delivered to the farm and asked if they would mind setting up everything, this involved blowing up balloons with helium canisters, setting petals out and arranging the whole decoration. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Special thanks to Ceri for arranging all that when she really didnt have to, she is a credit to the farm. The room was arranged beautiful and set the tone for an amazing weekend. The lodges were immaculate and modern, the hot tub was amazing -as was the weekend.
Thank you maesmawr farm, we will definitely be returning!"

"Beautiful lodge, brilliant customer service (including an amazing treat basket on arrival!), hot tub was perfect and private enough, lovely location. Whats not to love for a weekend getaway. One small thing - a thermostat would have been handy, but not the end of the world without one as you can just adjust the temperature on the boiler. Lovely place!"
Georgia - Jan 2020

"staff are great. Super helpful and friendly. The grounds are very well kept and clean. We noticed what looked like an expansion of the farm, cannot wait to see how Marsmawr Farm will look in the future, its a beautiful place! Would highly recommend ?"
Lauren - Aug 2022
"Amazing location, very peaceful and relaxing. The break was for myself and 2 teenage daughters. We had such a lovely few days they didn’t want to come home. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They also went above and beyond for us. We stupidly left a bag at the local train station. I wasn’t convinced from the train conductor we would get it back. I contacted Maesmawr and they kindly picked it up for us. Definitely will return to this place. The hot tub was a huge hit and the pod was very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful break."
Claire - Aug 2022

"Excellent clean lodge, has everything you need inside including a fan which is always essential. Secure for the dog, modern style it’s like home from home quality wise. Bathrooms are very nice designed. Close to Shewsbury only an hour away, we went there a few days it’s lovely. Plenty of restaurants allow dogs."
Alison - Jul 2022
"It's an amazing site set in superb countryside. The site is modern, well maintained with friendly staff. It's an ideal site to recharge your batteries, switch off an explore Wales. The lodges are modern, well equipped and the hot tubs are ideal for unwinding and sitting in enjoying the sunset. It's value for money and already booked for next year."
Benjamin - Jul 2022
"Unreal place. Stayed here for a weekend. So relaxing. The lodge provides you with everything you need. Everything is spotless. Hot tub was lush. Highly recommend"
Ross - Jul 2022
"Can’t fault the holiday, wonderful place to visit with friends. Surroundings were stunning and local amenities were fine. Avoid the chippy though, chips were foul, the wait was ridiculous and they missed one of our battered sausages off the order!"
Sinead - Jul 2022
"One of the best holidays we have had, loads of towns and nearby places to explore. The park was peaceful and the accomodation wad amazing"
Dylan - Jul 2022

"Due to unforeseen circumstances arrived a day later. On entering accommodation dirty laundry left just inside the door reception called and was removed virtually straight away. Noticed not enough towels for amount of people staying called reception again for another set. Had to ask again mid week they were then brought over. Hot tub lovely, big and deep abit too much chlorine in though. Accommodation was lovely tv in each room, couldn't fault it. Lovely quiet site and surroundings. All my family enjoyed themselves eespecially my whippet Would definitely book again."
