About Seven Springs

looking for a tranquil countryside escape with your loved ones? Seven Springs park in Llanon, mid Wales is just the perfect getaway you need. Located about 5 miles away from the beautiful Georgian town of Aberaeron, this park with a low lodge density provides a perfect setting to enjoy the peace and quiet of the majestic Welsh countryside.

With picture-worthy views over Cardigan Bay and the Cambrian mountains, the luxury lodges in Seven Springs let you truly experience nature at its best. The proximity to the coast and with the coastal village of Llanon being just a mile away, this holiday park is the perfect place to bring your children or your furry friend along to spend quality family time together.

For the perfect romantic retreat, we definitely recommend the Cader Idris Lodge. Equipped with a spacious master bedroom, an open plan kitchen, dining area and living room this lodge also has direct access to a private garden and outdoor hot-tub and BBQ. Whereas, The Island View House, which sleeps 6 and has a large living room, well equipped kitchen and dining area, a walled private garden with a hot tub and BBQ is the perfect place to spend quality time with your family catching up or with your friends reminiscing about old times.

The convenient location of the park gives you the perfect excuse to spend the day doing various activities like archery, rock climbing, kayaking or canoeing at the Llandsul Paddlers canoe centre. The close proximity to Aberaeron also gives you a chance to enjoy the great events that happen there like the Carnival with Jazz bands, Fish festival or the Sailing Regatta. The day can also be spent exploring the Devil’s Bridge falls to see the site that inspired William Wordsworth’s poem “Torrent at the Devil’s Bridge” or fishing at one of the lakes on site in the park.

Seven Springs Reviews

"Hoseseason - update for the owner sake that there is washing machine also ! it was positive surprise as nothing in description Location great for running as hills up to the lodge and coastal walk I liked fast WIFI and peace there but I would not call this lodge luxury - no enough basic stuff for kitchen never mentioned half broken chop board no one bothered to replace well, owner supposed to come in and say hello - not that I wished but he claimed to come over and checked emails why key code wasnt given to me in my arrival - no communication after initial call - it was not good Not knowing how we all supposed to get access to the lodge, did not appreciate lack of separate rubbish segregation - all went to one general back dont believe they rip at depot and check for recycling ?I liked space in and out and generally all good and would recommend if someone looking for peace and coastal surroundings few things need reflection on"

"Had an amazing holiday cant fault anything about the lodge or the park. Only thing was if going anywhere u had to drive no places round about got a drink or eating out overall had an amazing time staff at the park were very helpful would definitely return"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"The lodge was very nice but for us it was too overlooked. Also, the details provided by Hoseasons stated that there was a dvd player. This was not the case and we had taken some dvds that we particularly wanted to watch. Internet was down for one whole evening and part of the next day. We were looking forward to using the hot tub, but were surprised and disappointed to find that it was sunken into the decking. This was not stated in the Hoseasons details. I have a knee issue and was unable to get down into the tub so we were not able to use it. We would not have booked this property had we known about the sunken tub. This area of Wales is lovely and we will visit again."

"We had a lovely stay in Manasota Lodge. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The White Swan in Llanon was a great place to eat out too."
Claire - Nov 2023
"Lovely break, location is ok not much to do in the local village there is one shop Premier, a chippy, butcher's and a pub (The White Swan) which is lovely with a big outside space and also dog friendly. New Quay is around 40 mins drive, beautiful and has a lovely dog friendly beach. The cabin was nice, very well equipped although wasn't clean how id expect with it being dog friendly, dog hair everywhere, cobwebs and spiders everywhere, there was a hair clip down the side of the bed so obviously doesn't get hoovered much, hot tub was great over looking the small lake that had lots of fish to feed!Overall a nice little break"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Fantastic lodge with excellent facilities. Beautiful location, just bit too far downhill then uphill to walk into town, but fantastic pub The White Swan just out of this world food, tremendous. Views are fabulous out to sea from lodge and its by far the best equipped lodge we have ever stayed in, including every kind of utensil, even a huge cupboard full of spices, granules, herbs, everything you could possibly need to feel totally at home. Only negative for this lodge was the verandah where hot tub was all the fascias and soffits and cladding front facing was totally covered in cobwebs, spiders, looked very unattractive for such an amazing lodge. It just needed an extra 10 minutes to clean this part of the lodge and the balustrade needed a clean and wipe down again spiders and cobwebs. Also inside the lodge was quite a few spiders and webs in corners, again an extra little attention on this and the lodge would have been just perfect. The hot tub was amazing but was not cleaned in the 7 days we stayed and we didnt see any tablets being put in it to clean either. Overall an amazing lodge and fab holiday, would definitely stay again as beautiful surroundings and well equipped lodge, just a little more attention with cleaning and this would be perfect."
Dawn - Nov 2023
"Fabulous lodge on a very quiet site.Only thing missing was a fan for the bedroom, this lodge heats up in the sunshine due to its prominent position overlooking the site."
Brian - Jun 2023
"Lovely lodge and well equipped."
Susan - Jun 2023
"We had an absolutely lovely time at the lodge. It was sparkling clean and very comfy. There wasnt a DVD player as the description said but we didnt mind too much! The hot tub was lovely and kitchen had everything we needed. The owner is really friendly and helpful. The lodge was actually bigger than I expected too! The enclosed garden was a good feature as we were able to relax without worrying where the dog was!"
Bethany - Aug 2020
"Island View is a lovely place to relax, the place was incredibly clean and very comfortable, and the welcome was great - prosecco and local biscuits was a nice touch. The hot tub is great and enjoyed by all of us. The garden was quite functional rather than luxurious and but it was still quite a nice space to be. It would be great to have more screening of tall plants so you can't see the working area quite close to the garden."
Ruth - Jul 2020
"Really lovely, large house in beautiful surroundings. We made the most of the hot tub! Very comfortable beds. The only negative was the lack of water pressure in the bathrooms, so the showers were not great. Overall an excellent family holiday."
Nicky - Jul 2020
"Cader idris was perfect from the start, Lovely and clean and had everything you could think of there. Hot tub was amazing. Peaceful grounds with some lovely veiws. Would recommend."
Russell - Feb 2020
"We've had a fab stay over Christmas, there was a lovely Christmas tree decorated and a few decorations up which was a lovely touch. We would stay here again."
Jen - Dec 2019
"Nice quiet place. Easy access to explore North and South Wales. Beautiful house well equipped."
Peter - Dec 2019
"We stayed in the Cambrian Retreat which is semi detached with the Cadair Idris lodge. It is very well laid out and comfortable, although we did struggle with the heating control as it was a bit too warm for us but opened the double doors and all was good.

The hot tub was fantastic and we made full use of it, even in the driving rain!

Good views from the lodge over the rest of the park."
Dave - Nov 2019
"Really lovely modern lodge with everything you need available. Me and my husband had a lovely and relaxing 4 night stay. The bed was extremely comfy and the hot tub was great. Only downside was that when ever I cooked something on the hob it would set the smoke alarm off. I think it also set the adjoining lodge Cambrian Retreats alarm off too! Apart from that cannot fault anything and would definitely return."
Sarah - Nov 2019
"High View is a very special place and the support from Steve the owner at this location was second to none from start to finish.

The place was so relaxing and in a great location to visit other local towns.

I will 100% be adding this property to my list of return holidays."
David - Oct 2019
"Luxurious, very clean , wine and buisuits on our arrival. Hot tub was realy big and ready for us to use . Peaceful setting, nothing on site ( which is how we like it). Owner says more accommodations will be gradually added, this may spoil the peaceful setting if too many are added"
Helen - Oct 2019
"Thoroughly enjoyable weekend stay. Fantastic accommodation. Lovely pub down the hill . Great views and not a soul around for miles . Perfect for a stress free break"
Daniel - Oct 2019
"Perfect for a relaxing peaceful few days amongst beautiful countryside"
Adrian - Oct 2019
"Not the best time of the year, but was an amazing two weeks, good base to visit numerous places around Wales"
John - Sep 2019
"The cabin was everything we expected and more, the bed was extra comfortable and it had all the mod cons. It was like home from home with the added bonus of a private hotub."
Mark - Sep 2019
"Wonderful lodge high spec furniture and fittings. Super hot tub! Wonderful views of the sunset from the fab veranda. Very generous welcome pack. The park was relaxing and an ideal based from which to explore. We will be back!"

Gavin - Sep 2019
"We felt very relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The children loved the freezer"
Lynda - Sep 2019
"We had an amazing 3 night stay here, facilities were great. The lodge itself was spotless and absolutely beautiful inside and out! Loved the little touches for our arrival, free range eggs, Prosecco and local welsh biscuits."
Caitlin - Aug 2019
"Absolutely loved it! Would definitely recommend it to others."
Shelley - Aug 2019
"Loved every minuet, such a beautiful lodge, and stunning location. Would definitely go again"
Tracey - Aug 2019
"island view is great place to stay, it was spacious & well equipped , the sea view from the master bedroom is beautiful. The ensuite bathroom is very spacious. The gas barbeque was well used by us as was the hot tub.Steve was very helpful.
It was close to Aberaeron & New Quay our two most favourite places although Aberystwyth was also nice but very limited on parking. We travelled to most of the beaches along the Cardigan coast. Tresaith beach & waterfall is worth a visit. We saw seals at another beach and the highlight was seeing dolphins in their natural habitat on our last evening. The weather was great and we will be back."
Malcolm - Jul 2019
"Accommodation excellent spectacular views from the hot tube
Professional and friendly owners
Would highly recommend"
Helen - Jul 2019
"If we could move the park closer to our favourite beaches we’d never go anywhere else, and would look to buy in the future."
Jemma - Jul 2022
"We were incredibly lucky with the weather and we’re able to watch a beautiful sunset each evening and even went down to Aberaeron to watch it on our last evening. Highly recommend and will be booking again"

Jack - May 2022
"We had a lovely time, took the wrong turn at first but friendly neighbours helped us. Nice and quite relaxing break"
Kyah - May 2022
"Really enjoyed our weekend in the Cader Idris. Lodge was very clean larger than the photos and has a private enclosed garden with a hotub which was perfect as we were able to safely let our dog out We were greeted by Terry and a bottle of processo and biscuits. In other lodges I've been you feel like you can't relax as the park managers normally greet you with dos and donts the only thing Terry told us to do is have a relaxing weekend and enjoy ourselves Will definatly return beautiful site and quiet everything is there what you need like a home away from home Thank you so much for our peaceful stay enjoyed it so much"
Kerrie - May 2022
"We have had the most wonderful break at Seven Springs. Beautiful views and very tranquil. The house was very clean and had everything we needed (including a bottle of fizz on arrival). Placed in a perfect little village with a shop and fish and chip shop. Perfect position for visiting Aberaeron, New Quay and Aberystwyth. Also due to the walled outside area we could take our dog with no worries of him escaping. We will be back."
Samantha - Apr 2022
"We absolutely LOVED our trip to Seven Springs. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with our entire trip, the lodge was beautiful, clean and well equipped, the hottub was fabulous and warm for when we got to the lodge, Terry was an absolute star, sending us everything we needed to know, phoning us before arrival and even left a bottle of Prosecco for us to enjoy. The location was spot on, so peaceful and the views were sensational. Our only one tiny thing was the curtains in the bedroom in our lodge let in a lot of light, we are early risers anyway but something to consider. Thank you so much to Terry and the team at Seven Springs x"
Ellie - Mar 2022
"We stayed in the Cambrian retreat lodge and we found it was incredibly relaxing! The lodge itself was fully kitted out with everything you could think of! There was even a washing machine and dishwasher! it was really modern and clean, the only thing we did find was due to the amazing weather, once the heat had come into the lodge, it stayed. Meaning it was really hot through the night. The location was really good, very close to nearby towns - would deffo need a car if coming here. Overall had a really positive experience and already thinking of booking again :)"

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
