Delamere Lake Holiday Park has a gorgeous woodland location in Cheshire set around a 120 acre lake in the heart of the Cheshire Plain.  You'll also be well located to explore Delamore Forest meaning you really have the best of both worlds.

The lodges themselves have the wow factor with floor to ceiling glass windows making the views simply amazing.  We love the Country Lodge Six VIP Platinum which is a luxurious and spacious lodge, perfect for families and couples.  With one double and two twin rooms there is plenty of space and the furnishings are of a very high standard.  Step outside onto your own decking area with garden furniture and a hot tub to enjoy!

Some lodges are pet friendly at this park meaning you don't have to leave anyone behind.

You can go sailing on the lake or relax in your own private hot tub and take in the scenery.  Nature lovers will be in their element at this park with walks and watersports including on sire wake-boarding right on the doorstep.

The charming town of Chester is just 10 miles from Delamere Lake Holiday Park where you can find great shopping and sight seeing as well as cafe culture.  There are plenty of unique independent shops to explore.

If you wanted to explore the region further there are so many recommended attractions.  For families then Go Ape Cheshire and Gulliver's World Theme Park are fantastic.

Delamere Lake Sailing and Holiday Park Reviews

"We loved it - comfortable - warm, clean. Just thr pillow case were s bit rough on my face. Hot tin clean, hot decking in good order. No problems at all."
Elaine - Mar 2025
"Great stay, beautiful lodge."
Verified Guest - Mar 2025
"We stayed with friends and had an early start at 5.20am to the misty lake and sunrise which caressed the water edge. It was stunning. We had dog walks. Enjoyed the hot tub and had 2 double head showers and 1 bath. We did noy take any children but there were high chairs available in the lodge itself we had a dish washer and easy to use oven and microwave we had complimentary extras such as sponges and washing up liquid in a little gift box along with a guide to all local attractions and how to use the facilities. It was so tranquil and we reallyrelaxed. We had netflix and bbc iplayer available on the tv along with normal channels very easy to use. The lodge was clean and towels were provided but we had taken our own anyway. We are booking again shortly!! **"
Verified Guest - Mar 2025
"Great holiday in a very comfortable warm lodge with a lake view it was a lovely spring break and the hot tub amazing can recommend Delamere as it is in a quiet location with lovely views"

"Our Delamere Lake Sailing and Holiday Park review: Easy to book, good value, lovely and clean Lodge. We were a group of 7 ladies, lots of room for all plus hot tub was big enough for us all.Staff where really helpful to all my questions on email.Pub not far away, take your key and you get 10% off the billWould recommend."
Jo-Anne - Feb 2025
"Beautiful log cabin so cosy and relaxing definitely recommend this"
John - Jan 2025
"Excellent lodge. Clean, tidy and spacious. Large TV excellent for ending the day with the family. Brilliant hot tub which unlike soon lodges was hot enough to use on the first night. Bed comfortable and clean. View from lodge over lake beautiful. Plenty of parking adjacent to the lodge. We hope to return in the near future."
Julie - Jan 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay, the lodge is beautiful. Only thing i would say is a nest of tables would be beneficial and a rug in from of the patio doors for when you get out the hot tub, saves the floor getting soaked.Everything else perfect. Our heating did go off overnight sat and until 11-12 Sunday afternoon, but the staff were very helpful. We hope to book again soon."
Linda - Jan 2025
"This is my second visit to the peaceful, beautiful Delamere Lakeside, this stay I was on my own with my little doggy, I was nervous about this as never stayed by myself before, I spoke to the manager Bob who reassured me I would be fine, what can I say my lodge was beautiful and spotlessly clean, beds super comfortable, hot tub was amazing and very clean, I had the best sleeps whilst there and very much needed from my busy role, my stay was very restful and exactly what I needed it was perfect. Me and my dog enjoyed our walks, we also visited Cheshire Oaks which wasnt far away and dog friendly too so Blu had a ball looking around all the shops. If you want to get away from it all and a little peace and tranquillity this is the place to stay. Just one thing needed in lodge was a hairdryer. Thank you to Bob and his team for a lovely stay and I will be returning."
Paula - Dec 2024
"Very spacious peaceful location will definitely be returning"
Leeann - Dec 2024
"Lovely lodge - booked again Hot tub and lake side setting lovely"
Teresa - Dec 2024
"The lodge was lovely and clean. Everything you needed. Will definitely go again The lake veiw would be lovely for the summer as all lodges have garden furniture and a hot tub."
Verified Guest - Dec 2024
"Had a brillant time but its just the not good on how clean it was"
Nicola - Dec 2024
"We had booked a signature hot tub 9 but only had beds for 8 people"
Verified Guest - Nov 2024
"Lush lodge and lovely location"
Julia - Oct 2024
"Overall it was a good stay. Lovely setting with the lake well kept grounds and very quiet surroundings. Perfect for a relaxing break. Everything was contact free so didnt have to speak to any staff on site as the key was on my phone through and app. The accommodation its self was very modern and decor was very contemporary. The bed was comfortable and all the bedding and towels provided were clean and fresh. Only issue we had was found a lot of long black hair on the bathroom floor which didnt belong too us. We have also stayed in similar lodges for less that were a lot bigger as this was pretty much an updated caravan shell. However this wouldnt put us off visiting again it was perfectly quiet and chilled."
Elle - Oct 2024
"Excellent break. Lovely lodge, all mod cons. Well recommended. Beautiful views."
Verified Guest - Oct 2024
"Had a brilliant day, thank you very much. Everything perfect clean and tidy."
Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"Great weekend, couldn't fault it"
Rachael - Sep 2024
"Our recent stay at Delamere Lake was exceptional. The location was ideal, just a short 20-minute drive from Darsbury, making it perfect for our visit to the Creamfields Festival. The park itself is beautifully maintained, and the facilities exceeded our expectations, catering to all our needs. The lodges were comfortable and well-equipped, providing a quiet and pleasant stay.We did encounter an issue with the entrance barriers, managed by a third-party security company. The agent answering the bell was often unresponsive, causing delays and frustration. While this isn't necessarily the park's fault, they might want to consider a more reliable security management company. That said, communication with the park reception and interactions with the staff during our stay and at checkout were excellent. The team was exceptionally helpful, accommodating, and pleasant.Despite the minor issue with security, our overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Delamere Lake for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with top-notch amenities."
Joseph - Aug 2024
"Beautiful lodge . Very spacious for 3 generations. Great location. Great except for drains smell and some missing lamp bulbs."
Anna - Aug 2024
"Immaculate, looked brand new. The hot tub was lovely and clean too."
Louise - Aug 2024
"Lodge was excellent with everything we needed"
Carol - Jul 2024
"We booked this holiday as a girls weekend to celebrate a special birthday. The lodge itself is lovely but the best part was the setting of being right on the lakeside. Just stunning. The staff were fabulous and dealt with an issue we had quickly."
Verified Guest - Jun 2024
"It was a lovely place to stay and we had a good time. Great view of the lake and having its own private beach is a plus too!"
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Beautiful lodge which overlooked the lake, great hot tub and the lodge was very clean."
Sharon - Mar 2024
"Great home from home, a few of the pans need replacing, bound to happen, but we hadn't gone to be doing lots of cooking anyway. Overall it was very clean but I found some old disposable contact lenses next to the bed side table they should have bee vacuumed up but hadn't."
Joanne - Mar 2024
"Was a lovely lodge but need a bit of maintenance loo seat broken. Wardrobe doors were hanging off. Had to ask a member of staff to fix the bedroom window as that was fall out and couldn't use that room first night as it was to cold."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Overall we had a fabulous break even though we were only five miles away from home. It was peaceful and truly stunning views"
Pauline - Feb 2024
"I would highly recommend and return. The lodge was spotless, up to date, we were left alone, hot tub was a lovely touch. Only thing I would say is that it doesn't state that you need to give 48 hours notice for late check out, so when we asked the day before they declined it."
Kelly - Jan 2024
"The lodge was of very high standard, clean, had everything we needed. Hot tub was spotless and staff checked it daily. Surroundings were beautiful. We even had a dip in the lake. Have booked again."
Laura - Jul 2022
"We went away in a big family group which made the cost very reasonable. I was worried it might feel small for 8 of us but it didn’t. The facilities were great and the hot tub an added extra. We would have liked more dishwasher tablets and slightly comfier beds but everything else was perfect. The lake and park is very pretty and a tranquil retreat. We went into Chester as it’s quite close by (£25 in a taxi.). This was great as we were able to come home to the lodge as a base."
Rachel - Jul 2022
"Stunning location we had a lodge with a jetty on the water , would recommend this for full experience if you like water sports or just watching the wildlife. With lake delamrere wild shore wake park on the the same lake it was great to have this right at hand super fun . But you could not see it from lodges so you would not know it was there if you just wanted to relax ."
Kerry - Jul 2022
"Excellent lodge, very clean and in a great location. We will come back"
Mohamed - Jun 2022
"Had an amazing holiday and relaxing week gorgeous views to wake up to. Great hot tub our second visit here we can’t wait to go again! Lodge was outstanding."
DEBBIE - May 2022
"Lovely 3 night stay, close to Chester town and Cheshire oaks. Would recommend."

This company also owns Jungleland - another great attraction just 4 miles from Wonderland.
