These beautiful cottages have been lovingly converted from a former coach house and stables and retain many original features like oak beams and panelled doors. Set in 17 gorgeous acres of parkland in rural Shropshire, there is a coarse fishing lake and an 18 hole golf course. Chester and Shrewsbury are both easily accessible.
Relax and enjoy the beauty and spa treatments on offer at Henlle Hall - and if you don't feel like cooking, you can arrange for some delicious local produce to be delivered to your door. There's lots to see and do in Shropshire - from pony trekking and kayaking to scenic walks, steam railway trips and horse-drawn narrowboat rides!
The cottages here are utterly unique. Our favourite is Butlers Quarters, a two storey cottage for two people. It's really quaint with one king size double bedroom with ensuite shower, a kitchen/dining area and a cosy living area with wood burning stove. The outdoor area has garden furniture and a private hot tub.
Powis Castle at Welshpool is home to some amazing treasures from India as well as paintings and furniture. You'll love wandering around the Farmers' Market at Celyn where you can buy real Welsh cider, cheese, olive oil and also handmade leather and craft items. Head to the Cock O'Barton in Chester for a fantastic home cooked meal.
