Green Hill Farm Holiday Village Reviews

"Weve always rented from an owner at this site. However, the agent advised we needed to change our booking as the property we stay in had been withdrawn from letting, so we booked direct. What a disappointment! The lodge we stayed in before was lovely. But, there was nothing luxury about this one, it was extremely cramped, the beds were more like camping ones and there was no washing machine. I also asked for two bathrooms. But one was just a toilet and wash basin."
Karen - Nov 2024
"Sofa broken on one side toilet roll handles broken fell off wall lovely and clean though"
Angela - Oct 2024
"Fantastic place. Exceptionally clean and tidy lodges and grounds. All staff were polite and very helpful. Couldn't wish for more really."
Andrew - Oct 2024
"Excellent service from beginning to end. Communication from the initial booking to our arrival was so welcoming. The lodge itself was of the highest quality throughout. The park is very well maintained and in a wonderful area of the New Forest to explore. An outstanding break."
Richard - Oct 2024
"Everything you would need for an enjoyable holiday.Hot tub used every night. (Except 1st night as not hot enough)"

"Lovely accomodation, other members of the party werent keen on the narrow single beds ,thought they were only suitable for small children. On the whole the place was fine. Everything was spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thankyou."

"Spotless caravan and we'll equipped, incredibly comfortable too. The little touches from the team with coffee and tea and the drinks in the fridge was a very sweet touch!"

"I would wholeheartedly recommend Green Hill Holiday Village to anyone looking for a holiday in the New Forest. The accommodation is absolutely spotless which iis very high on my list of priorities, the site is very quiet and the staff leave you alone to enjoy your holiday but are exceptionally helpful if you need them. We didnt get around to using the ranger activities but the fishing on site was brilliant. The pizza restaurant is small but the food is out of this world, (honey on a pizza! Dont knock it until you try it, its amazing!). The location is far enough out in the country to feel like you are getting away from it all but not that far from attractions if you want to explore the area. There is a gate to the forest from the park and you are instantly out in miles of open countryside, (just make sure you mark your location if you go for a walk on your own. I didnt and got hopelessly lost, made worse by losing my bag in the darkness. The staff on site were so helpful and couldnt do enough to make sure I was ok. They immediately sorted a new key for the lodge.and have put out notifications to local groups to help search for my bag. My most abiding memory was opening the door of the lodge at 6am to see a stag standing just a few feet away illuminated against the sunrise and the early morning mist. Absolutely magical and I wished Id been quick enough to grab a photo. If you are hoping to book a break in the New Forest you cant go wrong with Green Hill"
Carol - Sep 2024
"The snug is a PERFECT place for a couples get away. It's the perfect place for a quiet night but close enough to towns to go out for a bite to eat.The snug has everything you can want, even a little dishwasher. The hotub was a bit of a let down - COVERED in limescale but didn't detract from the holiday at allFacilities were AMAZING and the small details really make it worth while.Parking is a bit of a pain - 4 spaces and someone had 2 cars so we had to park on the verge. But we will defiantly return"
Jeremy - Sep 2024
"Lovely and clean. Draws in the kitchen stocked with everything you need. Bedding lovely. Probably a bit of a tight squeeze for 8"
Holly - Sep 2024
"Caravan was perfect, had everything we needed, fixtures and furnishings were new and well maintained. The only slight down mark was because living room and bedroom there were spots they missed while dusting which wasnt a big deal, and mattress in double bed was bouncy and springy and in need of replacing. Mattresses in twin bedroom were thick and of good quality which seems strange to have a cheap mattress in the main bedroom, but we slept ok and didnt bother us, but if wed stayed for longer we wouldnt have asked to be replaced, as we both have back problems. Other than that everything else was great."
Susana - Sep 2024
"A choice of pillows IE thin and thick would be ideal - but that is me really looking for something to critic, as everything else was perfect!"
Kieran - Sep 2024
"Clean and tidy lodge. Beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed. We were at the far end of the park so it was lovely and quiet."
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"Fantastic, spacious and lovely large decked area (enclosed by gate so safe for our dog to wander around)"

"we did not purchase a lodge - we were there for a week's holiday"
Alison - Aug 2024
"Absolutely lovely holiday. Green hills is an immaculate site in a stunning location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food from the restaurant was delicious. Our premium 2 bed lodge was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The surrounding area had so many places to visit and things to do, we will definitely return."
Karen - Aug 2024
"The hut itself was really spacious, had everything you needed and included your own hut tub. The positions meant you were not overlooked and had a gorgeous view."
Chelsea - Aug 2024
"Better than the photographs on line very happy with the size and space."
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"5 stars, absolutely amazing."
James - Aug 2024
"The most beautiful 3 bed chalet with everything required available. So clean and new throughout. Cant wait to return ."
Lisa - Aug 2024
"Comfortable clean and tidy lodge with all facilities. On site shop handy plus good pizzeria restaurant."
Peter - Jul 2024
"Very noisy, the tent was all wood and every sound echoed. I felt very vulnerable there was no lock just a zip keeping people out although there was a night warden. The park and staff were lovely and a beautiful area but not the most comfortable and very drafty definitely wouldn't stay in a safari tent again."
Verified Guest - Jun 2024
"Was reasonable for price and time of year."
