"We've just come back from another lovely break at Leonards Cove. In October we had an amazing stay with lots of family at the farmhouse. This time it was just me and my husband and we stayed in the Pound cove spa Loft. It was lovely, only the two of us so loads of space. It was a bitterly cold weekend but lovely and cosy in the loft with central heating and a log fire ( this is not a criticism but it would have been much nicer and more welcoming if a fire was made up and a few logs to get you going on arrival as most places we've stayed seem to do. We did have to spend another £20 on logs, so something to be aware of). The hot tub was great though and we had some lovely walks.The new Italian restaurant was lovely, we had a really nice meal there.* the only slight down point was the lack of big towels. We booked this accommodation which was set up for 5 people( 3 bedrooms) but we were only given 2 hand towels and 2 small bath towels ( there were 2 towels for the hot tub too). I thought this was a bit tight, we were there for 3 nights and I wouldn't use the same towel for 3 days at home! Also would prefer bath sheet size towels ????Apart from the towel thing though the loft is really well kitted out, we loved it and would go again ( bringing towels????)????"

"We stayed in the farmhouse for a birthday treat. 6 adults, 3 children, a baby and 2 dogs. The Farmhouse was perfect. A lovely spacious house, very comfortable, lovely position with a view of the sea. Everyone loved the hot tub???? The house is well furnished, very homely and has almost everything you could need ( the only thing we missed was a proper chopping board and a fish slice????). As has been said there are a lot of light switches! Some didn't seem to be working when we were there, particularly the battery operated fairy lights, it would have been lovely if they worked but these are really minor issues and I'm sure if we'd bothered to mention it the lovely staff would have replaced the batteries??The village of Stoke Fleming is lovely with a great local pub and Kendricks bar/ restaurant. The village shop is so cute, really lovely.We had a really lovely weekend of walking to the beach, geocaching around Little Dartmouth, eating, drinking and fun in the hot tub. Would love to come back some time as didn't get a chance to have a look round Dartmouth ????"

"The apartment is big and spacious. It is well equipped (except for a hairdryer!). Bedrooms are a good size with comfy beds. Great that it has a hot tub too."

"Stayed at the Pound Loft which Id booked months before for 2 people, accommodation is designed for 5 so it was very spacious! Lovely layout, nice private hot tub area at the back. Well equipped kitchen with a full size fridge/freezer. Two bathrooms which is handy for when you get out of the hot tub. Beds were extremely soft so not the most comfortable for a weeks stay and the sofas were the same too. Wouldnt be enough seating in the living room area for 5 people. The sea view is slightly deceiving as you can barely see it from the accommodation. Location is quite isolated with only 1 restaurant and 1 convenience shop in walking distance. Everything else is at least a 10 minute drive so its great for a relaxing get away but not really much to do in the area. Staff were super helpful and the restaurant was nice but quite expensive for what it is"

"Absolutely fantastic stay! We stayed in the farmhouse which was amazing. Very clean and had everything we needed! We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us around the property and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was fantastic and a lovely gas fire for sitting around outside on the crisp evenings Great location, spent time at Blackpool Sands and Dartmouth, can highly recommend the Seven Stars pub for a great meal! We will be returning with our family again!"

"Comfortable property with panoramic views and everything we needed"

"The pound loft is where we stayed, and it was beautiful. The only problem we had was that we got disturbed a few times with people checking the jacuzzi (WE WERE ON THE BED, AND HOTTUB WAS JUST OUTSIDE SO WE WERE ON SHOW,) and on first day coming into build our fire.. each time we were having an intimate moment... no privacy. We went to relax and enjoy each others company whilst being away from city life. It would of been more convenient if we had timings.On the last night there were terrible winds, which made a tree snap at the trunk and the tree top landed on my car, luckily no damage caused.. the chap we called came out, chopped a few branches off then left the tree blocking the road. He said he would take the whole tree down but he didn't, of which was understandable. I had to move my car out of the way incase the rest fell. When speaking to a couple of staff members about this very scarey experience, they just laughed one added, at least you had some excitement... didn't expect that comment at all"

"Fabulous house and fantastic new year away.Loved this house, very friendly staff and extremely helpful. The house was set up with a Christmas tree and table decorations. There were 2 bottles of prosecco in the fridge and some beautiful mince pies left for us. It was extremely clean and everything was so lovely - loads of space for our family of ten and pooch. The kitchen had everything in it you could think of, two lounges and a snug room for anyone that wanted some peace and quiet. The bedrooms were beautiful and in 2 parts of the house, however the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep so if you have mobility issues or small children please bear this in mind. Hot tub was available and if you are there during the summer there was plenty of outdoor space as well.There was a restaurant on the campus and a pub in the village - loved it, was great to be able to walk somewhere to have food and drink.Would love to go back to this house - and would definitely recommend."

"Lovely 3 day break between Christmas and New Year. Cliff Top 4 was lovely, very clean, great hot tub with fantastic views. The only negative is the separate toilet to bathroom, and the bathroom being a wet room meant the floor was wet all day and very slippery for children who did fall a couple of times."

"The farmhouse is clean, spacious and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. It is well equipped with crockery and cutlery which was perfect. The description of the property needs reviewing as though it mentioned a downstairs toilet and shower for less able and there is a step between the kitchen area and dining/seating area. With both sets of stairs to the bedrooms being steep, narrow and spiral anybody less able would struggle on accessing the bedrooms. Once upstairs the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. We were multi generations from 15 weeks to 79 years with dogs and the accommodation was ideal for a pre Christmas family get together with some lovely beach and costal walks close by. We would definitely recommend and hope to all return next year."

"Had a relaxing weekend at the Pound loft spa. The accommodation was spotless and fully equipped. Lovely touches like leaving us wood , kindling and matches for the open fire which we took advantage of. The hot tub was such a welcome addition .The staff were very friendly and efficient .The location is quite hilly so bear that in mind if taking elderly relatives.On site restaurant very good and service friendly . Would definitely stay here again!!!"

"At first sight the chalet was underwhelmingand in need of some minor repairs to rendering but once through the door it was amazing with the most beautiful view to wake up to. The patio area was well equipped with hot tub, sun loungers and a table and chairs. Loads to do in the area . Staff were very accommodating and helpful . My family and I truly had a fabulous holiday."
