"We've just come back from another lovely break at Leonards Cove. In October we had an amazing stay with lots of family at the farmhouse. This time it was just me and my husb and and we stayed in the Pound cove spa Loft. It was lovely, only the two of us so loads of space. It was a bitterly cold weekend but lovely and cosy in the loft with central heating and a log fire ( this is not a criticism but it would have been much nicer and more welcoming if a fire was made up and a few logs to get you going on arrival as most places we've stayed seem to do. We did have to spend another £20 on logs, so something to be aware of). The hot tub was great though and we had some lovely walks.The new Italian restaurant was lovely, we had a really nice meal there.* the only slight down point was the lack of big towels. We booked this accommodation which was set up for 5 people( 3 bedrooms) but we were only given 2 hand towels and 2 small bath towels ( there were 2 towels for the hot tub too). I thought this was a bit tight, we were there for 3 nights and I wouldn't use the same towel for 3 days at home! Also would prefer bath sheet size towels ????Apart from the towel thing though the loft is really well kitted out, we loved it and would go again ( bringing towels????)????"

"We stayed in the farmhouse for a birthday treat. 6 adults, 3 children, a baby and 2 dogs. The Farmhouse was perfect. A lovely spacious house, very comfortable, lovely position with a view of the sea. Everyone loved the hot tub???? The house is well furnished, very homely and has almost everything you could need ( the only thing we missed was a proper chopping board and a fish slice????). As has been said there are a lot of light switches! Some didn't seem to be working when we were there, particularly the battery operated fairy lights, it would have been lovely if they worked but these are really minor issues and I'm sure if we'd bothered to mention it the lovely staff would have replaced the batteries??The village of Stoke Fleming is lovely with a great local pub and Kendricks bar/ restaurant. The village shop is so cute, really lovely.We had a really lovely weekend of walking to the beach, geocaching around Little Dartmouth, eating, drinking and fun in the hot tub. Would love to come back some time as didn't get a chance to have a look round Dartmouth ????"

"Stayed at the Pound Loft which Id booked months before for 2 people, accommodation is designed for 5 so it was very spacious! Lovely layout, nice private hot tub area at the back. Well equipped kitchen with a full size fridge/freezer. Two bathrooms which is handy for when you get out of the hot tub. Beds were extremely soft so not the most comfortable for a weeks stay and the sofas were the same too. Wouldnt be enough seating in the living room area for 5 people. The sea view is slightly deceiving as you can barely see it from the accommodation. Location is quite isolated with only 1 restaurant and 1 convenience shop in walking distance. Everything else is at least a 10 minute drive so its great for a relaxing get away but not really much to do in the area. Staff were super helpful and the restaurant was nice but quite expensive for what it is"

"Our stay was really enjoyable! We booked the farmhouse and it was spotlessly clean with all the essentials. The warm welcome from the host made a big difference, showing us around and making us feel at home. The hot tub was a real highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day out and the outdoor gas fire was lovely during the cool evenings. We visited Blackpool Sands and Dartmouth, both beautiful spots. Definitely planning to come back with the family soon!"

"We recently stayed at The Pound Loft and honestly, its a lovely spot. The place itself is really pretty and perfect for a quiet getaway. The main issue we faced was privacy - every time we were in the hot tub outside or just relaxing on the bed, we kept getting disturbed by people checking the jacuzzi or coming into the build to build a fire. It was a bit awkward, especially since we were hoping for a peaceful retreat. Having set times for activities mightve helped us plan better. On our last night, a huge gust of wind caused a tree to break and drop its top on my car! Luckily, no damage, but it was pretty scary. We called a guy to clear the branches and he chopped some off but didnt take the whole tree down, which was understandable. I had to move my car just in case more branches fell. When we mentioned it to a couple of staff members, they just laughed and said, at least you had some excitement, which was a bit odd, but hey, it made for an unforgettable story! Overall, a nice place with a few quirks."

"We had an amazing stay over New Year at this lovely house. The place was spotlessly clean and felt really cosy, especially with the Christmas touches like the tree and decorations-made it feel extra special. The hosts were super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even leaving prosecco and mince pies in the fridge, which was a nice touch. Theres plenty of space for a big family like ours, including the dog and the kitchen was fully equipped-seriously, everything you could think of. We loved having two lounges and a snug for some quiet time. The bedrooms are gorgeous, but just a heads up-the stairs are quite steep, so if youve got mobility issues or little ones, its worth noting. The outdoor space was great, especially in the summer and the hot tub was a real treat. Plus, the local pub and restaurant on site made grabbing a bite super easy. Wed definitely come back and recommend it to others!"

"We had a lovely 3-day escape between Christmas and New Year. Cliff Top 4 was spotless and cosy, with an amazing hot tub overlooking stunning views. The only downside was the bathroom setup; being a wet room meant the floor stayed wet all day, which made it slippery for kids-they did fall a couple of times. Still, we enjoyed it!"

"We had a lovely stay at the farmhouse! Its super clean and really spacious, which made it perfect for our big family gathering. The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us. The place is well stocked with crockery and cutlery, so no complaints there. However, the listing could do with a bit of a update - it mentioned a downstairs toilet and shower for less able guests, but theres actually a step between the kitchen and dining area, which isnt ideal. The stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep, narrow and spiral, so folks with mobility issues might find it tricky. Once upstairs, the bedrooms are comfy and roomy. We ranged from 15 weeks to 79 years old, with dogs too and it worked perfectly for our pre-Christmas get together. Lovely walks nearby and were already hoping to come back next year!"

Loved the small touches like the firewood, kindling and matches for the open fire - really made it special. The hot tub was a real highlight, so relaxing! The staff were friendly and efficient, which made everything smooth. Just a heads up, the location is quite hilly, so it might be tricky for older folk. Wed definitely come back!"

"At first sight the chalet was underwhelmingand in need of some minor repairs to rendering but once through the door it was amazing with the most beautiful view to wake up to. The patio area was well equipped with hot tub, sun loungers and a table and chairs. Loads to do in the area . Staff were very accommodating and helpful . My family and I truly had a fabulous holiday."
