"Would definitely recommend Westlands Country Park. Only a 5 minute or so journey to the M74 so very well located.We stayed in a Stargazer and it was nice and modern inside with plenty space. Hot tub was also excellent and good privacy with the fence area all around it.Went to the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food was really good and the staff were excellent, friendly and on the ball with service etc. The restaurant/bar area was really modern and nice inside.Will definitely be returning again."

"My family and I have just enjoyed a 4 night stay in a stargazer lodge that certainly lived up to its name. Beautiful views from the hot tub. The lodge had everything you needed. The onsite bar/restaurant was very welcoming. Nice fresh food. Friendly resident peacocks wandering by and lovely helpful staff. Will definitely be returning."

Would be lovely in the sunmer time! We went in January, was so cosy. We ate in the restaurant & really enjoyed the food! X"

"We've stayed with westalnds several times now and always have a warm welcome and great lodges. We stayed in the Savannah Lodge and although a lovely lodge, wasn't ideal for us, a few things to note although it is 2 bedroom for 4 people it's very compact, and felt you were sitting on top of each other, if you were using appliances the smoke alarm would go off so extremely sensitive.. We found the location of the hot tub slight disappointing at the side having to walk across the front of lodge in the open, there were a few covers missing and on an evening it wasn't as relaxing as previous lodges as there is a huge street light overlooking it, (one of few on the site) making it flood lit... so not quite as nice as the other lodge locations. The lodge itself is great but in our opinion probebrly not for 4 adults and 2 dogs.Well definately be back to the site as location and setting wise it's great and love it there."

"The Parkview Plus, overall, is great for a small family. Our second time staying in this lodge, although we would have preferred a bigger lodge this year (2024) due to the ages of our teenagers. Very clean and has everything you need. Beds aren't the comfiest but otherwise, a lovely lodge."

"The Debonair Plus was very spacious, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a very large open plan lounge/kitchen and dinning area. For 4 adults and 1 kid, there was plenty of space for all of us to feel relaxed."

"Well set up pod, we ate at restaurant so never used oven or microwave . hot tub well maintained. great winter's afternoon keeping warm enjoyed in hot tub very private. we are in our 60s so you need to be able to get up and down from ladder into bedroom space , bed on floor with little head space. We had a giggle every time we headed up to bed but grand children would have loved it."

"Just returned from a lovely holiday at westlands country park. The park was lovely, slightly rough around the edges but this is to be expected with a new park. We stayed in a stargazer lodge at the end of the park which was serene, the hot tub was spotless and the lodge itself was lovely. (Did find a few areas that weren't as clean as I'd have liked, but nothing a quick wipe down couldn't sort!) If you're over 6ft though i would advise that the lodge could be a bit squishy especially if you plan on using the loft room. The tv is a smart TV but has no smart features as its unable to connect to any WiFi even though there is WiFi across the park. The park is totally dog friendly which was a winner for us, however the balcony doesn't have a side wall where the hot tub is so my dog did do a runner and escaped so bring something to tie your dog to if they can't be trusted! The shooting range operates from about 9am to 5pm and boasts a lovely walk round the park, however if you have dogs that fear loud noises this is NOT the place for you. Tesco in Annan is a 5 minute drive away, and on arrival you are given a promo code for a local shop which delivers right to your pod which is amazing! The restaurant is lovely and reasonably priced, and there is a small shop within the building selling a few cooled items like drinks and 'fridge food'. If you are staying with a dog I'd highly recommend driving down to powfoot beach, park on the green in the village and walk down to the sandpiper cafe for a drink and then walk back, on a sunny day it is beautiful."

"Can’t fault this place you get what you see in pictures the place is immaculate lodges spotless and have everything you need . It was a bonus having the washing machine , dogs loved the walks around the park and their welcome pack was a special touch we loved the peace and quiet . The park doesn’t have anything for kids or night time entertainment but that was fine for us but if you have small kids it’s not for them . We loved it so relaxing ."

"Thourghly enjoyed our long weekend break, The lodge was lovely and clean and bonus with hot tub. We booked the clay pigeon shooting prior to our stay for the Suday and we both enjoyed the experience, just wish it was longer than half an hour but still recommend the experience. Overall the place was nice and I found staff friendly enough. We bought a milk shake from Katie's Cow vending machine on site, which was delish ? We found local village Eastriggs to be ideal for walking our dog as it was only 5 mins away and there were a few good waking paths."
