"Our Leisure Lodge would easily be big enough for 4 people; it was designed for 6 though. I personally would find that much too cramped, especially in cold and wet weather."

"Good apart from no WiFi having to go out off premises to make work phone calls ,should be more big signs of dogs must be on lead as we had an issue with a dog not on lead even though they were told .Could do with more for children to play on . Bar could be open longer especially for food and drink .Lived the lodge only issue we had was dirty cups and plates ."

"Lovely, warm and comfortable lodge. We went for New Year and it was just lovely. A 5 minute drive to Potterhanworth where there is a lovely pub, The Chequers. Another little village, Branston is about a 7 minute drive away, there youll find a Co-op, a chinese restaurant and another pub, the Waggon and Horses. The pub on the site, The Brewers was open while we were there and the staff were lovely and friendly. 15 minutes away is Lincoln city centre, we booked taxis there and back which we very reliable. We also ordered a takeaway from a nearby pizza place! Overall a lovely break"

"Stayed for a second time over Christmas. The lodge was fab. So lovely, clean and nothing was missing at all. Unfortunately on Christmas Eve the hot tub was barely warm but the chap who was doing the daily check just said it was fine. Luckily by the night it had warmed up. There isn't a who lot around, but that's the point. Or maybe there is, we just stayed in and enjoyed the lodge and hotub."

"Only problem was the food served at the onsite pub/restaurant. Limited menu, poor quality, not good value for money. We had booked this site so we did not have to leave for meals however on our first visit to the restaurant having pre booked, they had run out of several items with limited alternatives. We did not return for the remainder of our stay. Chef or experienced cook required!"

"This was a brand new high spec lodge that was very clean with a excellent hot tub. Some of the fittings are more like a caravan than a lodge and dont feel quality/luxurious the kitchen for instance and the walls arent plastered theyre the caravan type with joining strips. The bedrooms arent as big as youd usually get in a lodge. The kitchen wasnt well equipped the frying pan looked much older than the lodge! We had a lovely stay and if the price had been lower we wouldnt have expected top quality for everything."

"Couldn’t fault it. Perfectly quiet, tranquil open space. Lodges are reasonably sized and so clean. We had lovely weather, so it was nice to be sitting outside all day. Food at the cafe was lovely, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to return in the New Year."

"Hanworth Country Park is a beautiful place for a relaxing break. Very peaceful surroundings, lovely walks and excellent fishing. Lodges are well equipped and hot tubs are lovely for relaxing evenings."

"Lovely quiet park. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good base to explore Lincoln and surrounding area. Good food in Brewers bar and restaurant but only served food until 2.30 pm out of peak holiday season."

"We stayed in one of the large lodges with a hot tub. And it comfortably fit all 7 of us in it. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed. The scenery and wildlife was breathtaking! Very reasonably priced too :) We’ll definitely be back for more weekend stays. :)"

"We stayed in one of the Leisure lodges with a hot tub (the Beech). The park itself is lovely and well presented, with great walks around the choice of lakes with lots of wildlife (I’ve never seen so many baby geese). The sunset was stunning from the main lake."
