"Had a great stay and for such a competitive price. Only problem was the mattress was like sleeping on a bed of nails. I reported it to the reception staff but they didn't get back to me and in desperation on the second night I ended up turning the mattress over and thankfully that helped. I advised a member of the cleaning staff when they arrived to drop off new linen at the end of my 4 day stay and he apologised and said he was disappointed as he hadn't been made aware of it."

"Lovely caravan, a lot better than expected for the money. It was clean and in great condition. The fridge and freezer were generously sized and the oven was efficient. There was also a good range of utensils and kitchen items. The bathroom was a decent size, with a large and powerful shower. Beds were comfortable, only improvement would be to have a bit more storage space for clothes in the bedroom."

"We opted for a non pet caravan due to allergies. However, the living room couch, the carpets and bedrooms were covered in dog hair."

"Stayed here before and this seems to be an older lodge however it was still furnished nicely and all appliances were there. Heating was really nice for the cold nights and the option to turn it off was appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful on site and brought us more towels as soon as we requested them. Wooler is a lovely town within walking distance and has several bars and a lovely Italian restaurant and a Chinese and fish and chip shop all worth a visit. An ideal location for visiting areas such as Morpeth, Berwick, Alnwick. Would definitely stay here again."

"In general the Ivy caravan 2 was a practical layout and comfortable for family of four staying four nights. Only negative would be there was no sockets next to bedside cabinets."

"The caravan was big enough and had a lot of outside space. Shame it didnt have decking but we didnt pay for one with decking- missed it when the sun was out. Main negative is that the caravan wasnt perfectly clean - fridge had crumbs and dirty as well as marks on the tables. The caravan missed a few appliances like a cheese grater and square oven dish."

"the caravan was a new one with only two bedrooms but very comfy and with an extra toilet in main bedroom. everything worked really well but could do with a few more kitchen accessories ,such as plastic measuring jug etc. the fire in living room was fabulous as you can have normal coloured flames or a mixture of colours , used just the ambient lighting mostly , but when heat was put on it was toasty warm . radiators used twice but was warm"

Wasnt happy with kitchen in that built in fridge freezer had broken and been replaced with a free standing one which then didnt fit the unit doors so bit of juggling holding doors open to get food in and out of fridge."

"Space was lovely and equipment was good the only downside for us was that three adults needing their own space was a bit of a squeeze. The room with the double bed was brilliant the other two had two small singles in them and not enough space between to get dressed properly. They would be ideal for parents with four children using the single bedded rooms. Having said that, the beds themselves were extremely comfortable and clean."

"This was a beautiful site, the caravan was so clean and little touches of soaps and shower gels and shampoo was really nice. The standard of accommodation was excellent, modern and very comfortable. Customer service was also really good, nothing was a bother and first night we arrived a member of staff came to the caravan to check everything was okay. The bed linen was pristine and excellent quality as were the towels. The pool was great and the gentleman that was running it was really helpful and friendly. The only little suggestion would be a little longer than 45 minutes a day session in the pool, we would have happily paid extra for a pool pass. Other than that the whole holiday was a relaxing in gorgeous surroundings with friendly and professional staff."

"This was our first time staying at Riverside. The caravan was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were on the side with new playground which my kids loved. Short walk into town CO-OP near by. The pool was a good size but you do have to book your time. My kids enjoyed the game room but beware you can only collect prizes at specific times which was not posted."
