Loch Lomond Holiday Park Reviews

"Nice place, loved the hot tub, would return."
Mike - Apr 2025
"We had such a lovely weekend here! The place was just what we needed and well be returning for sure. Our dogs had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating-Luna couldnt stop wagging her tail! She even strained it, but its all good now. Great spot, super happy pups and us too. Definitely recommend!"
Marcus - Apr 2025
"Great spot to unwind and enjoy a beautiful vista, really peaceful and calming."
Emma Carter - Apr 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard's Mead. Rob and Sharon put so much effort into restoring the historic building and it shows. They welcomed us warmly, along with Bonnie, which made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring Essex - definitely take some time to wander around Thaxted and the surrounding villages, there's so much history and lovely architecture to see. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!"
Jane - Feb 2025
"Our Loch Lomond Holiday Park review: Cant wait to return, truly had a fantastic experience here!"

"Really enjoyed our visit, the setting is lovely and wandering with the dogs was so relaxing."
Harper - Dec 2024
"The caravan was spotlessly clean, super cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Honestly, we couldnt find a single fault with it!"
Oliver - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay"
Emily Carter - Oct 2024
"We had a wonderful stay at this cosy little spot! The location is stunning and really private, which we loved. The owners are super friendly and always nearby if you need anything, but it still keeps that peaceful vibe. The hot tub was a real highlight after cycling all day! Just a heads up, the cottage is directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of noise from planes. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but its worth considering if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a lovely place!"
Rajiv - Oct 2024
"We had a fantastic time here! The location was spot on for a quick escape or a longer break. The staff were really friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The cabin was super clean and well-equipped, with the added bonus of a sauna and whirlpool bath-bliss! We didnt want to go home."
Jamie - Sep 2024
"Great experience, would definitely come back!"
Alex - Sep 2024

Peter - Jun 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay, lovely scenery and cosy lodge."
Olivia - May 2024
"The lodge was really lovely, but honestly, the subfloor could do with some repairs. Aside from that, we adored it!"
Ellie - May 2024
"We really appreciated how clean everything was - no signs of previous pets at all. The caravan was spotless and honestly, we couldn't find a single thing to fault. Definitely a great stay!"
James - Apr 2024
"We really appreciated how well-equipped the place was for a week-long stay - dishwasher, washing machine, iron and even a Henry hoover! The bed was a bit of a novelty at first, but we got used to it quickly. Plenty of space and overall, it was a very comfy stay. Would definitely come back!"
Amelia - Mar 2024
"Really impressed with how fresh and new this lodge felt, almost untouched! Definitely recommend."
Jonny Carter - Jan 2024
"Beautiful scenery, loved it"
Daniel - Nov 2023
"We had a really lovely stay at this cosy spot. The privacy was spot on, nestled in such a peaceful setting. The owners were super friendly and always available if we needed anything, but never intrusive. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after cycling around the area. One thing to note, its pretty close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of noise from planes. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt ruin our trip at all. Overall, a great find!"
Charlie - Sep 2023
"We had a lovely stay at Loch Lomond Holiday Park. The cabin was spotless, modern and super cosy, with stunning views of the Scottish landscape. The hot tub was a real treat and the location in the Trossachs is just perfect for a quick getaway. Highly recommend!"

Joanne - Jul 2022
"Our break was exactly what we were looking for ! Rest and Relaxation for myself, teenage daughter, elderly mother and two dogs …… Quiet , beautiful views, kayaking, dog beach walks , visits to local landmarks. Accommodation was immaculate. We will be back soon."
Julie - Jul 2022
"Beautiful setting, well maintained with great helpful staff. Small park perfect for our gathering with elderly parents. The lodge was a comfortable size for 5 adults and 1 teen with all amenities. Loved the robes and slippers and towel for hot tub use. Peaceful tranquil break away, just sad it was so short. We would love to return. Only thing I can think is a few more pans and serving dishes in the kitchen. Must do us the kayak across the loch, great views."
