About Erigmore Leisure Park

This countryside retreat is nestled in the naturally gorgeous Perthshire, and with the idyllic woodland all around, this is the perfect place for families to escape into nature. The site is ideally located for guests to explore the incredible Southern Highlands, including the rustic Birnam Wood, which rose to fame by Shakespeare’s iconic Macbeth. There are plenty places to relax after a day exploring the countryside, both at your own lodge or in the on-site bar or swimming pool and sauna.

The Park boasts a luxurious indoor heated pool available for all guests to use, which is ideal for a leisurely swim or taking your toddler to the mid-week Turtletots swimming classes. For the ultimate relaxation, visit the sauna and whirlpool bath. In the evening, have a drink in the comfortable on-site bar and lounge, where sports enthusiasts can watch the games on the six-foot screen.

This is also a great spot for an evening meal, where there are delicious pub classic meals on offer as well as a kids’ menu. Fishing is offered by the park for people of all levels, including the kids. There are two local rivers in which guests can try this out, both being easily accessible from the site. There are also some fantastic woodland and riverside walks perfect for a day out in nature. Why not bring a picnic and enjoy lunch surrounded by the trees?

Choose to stay in one of the park’s incredible high-end lodges, many of which have their own private hot tubs. The Boutique Spa lodges offer the epitome of relaxation for either a couple’s getaway or a family holiday for four. These both have a hot tub situated on the wooden veranda outside, which is perfect for taking a soak in the evening under the stars. The living rooms are open plan and have a homely interior, making it easy for guests to settle in and feel at home.

The Highland Spa Lodges are a more luxurious style, perfect for an indulgent romantic trip for two. As well as outdoor hot tubs, these lodges have a secluded decking area and fully equipped kitchens and living areas. For a bigger group wanting to stay for a bit longer, Erigmore Cottage is the ideal accommodation. This two-bedroomed cottage boasts a spacious family shower room and private hot tub, as well as a fully stocked kitchen. The living area is cosy and welcoming, ideal for a night in watching a film. This accommodation is also pet friendly, so be sure to bring your furry friend along.

The fantastic Scottish Highlands are right on the doorstep of this park, so there are plenty of opportunities to visit some truly breath-taking natural spots. Take a relaxing stroll around Loch of the Lowes where there are beautiful lakeside and woodland views.

Follow the circular 3.5-mile route along the River Tay to the village of Birnam, which is a charming spot perfect for coffee and cake at the end of your walk. Look for red squirrels, pine martin and more Scottish wildlife at Pine Cone Point, and take in the stunning views of Strathtay when making this journey. For a family outing, visit the Active Kids Adventure Park, where there are a range of fun activities on offer, as well as farm animals to visit.

Erigmore Leisure Park Reviews

"The Olive Caravan was perfect for our party of 2 adults, a child and a dog! The site offers free WiFi but we found it inadequate and ended up using our own data for our two day trip, although this didn't bother us as we were there to do activities that didnt involved the internet! The shower head adjustment was broken but otherwise plenty of hot water with good pressure. Overall a fabulous stay in great accomodation."
Johanna - Apr 2024
"Lovely caravan, amazing view"
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Facilities ok but not very clean."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"The caravan was very comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out. It was lovely and warm (we went in winter) and the shower worked well. Thanks!"
Kathryn - Feb 2024
"We stayed 3 nights in the Olive Caravan from 5th to 8th January. Although it was very cold outside the caravan was cosy. It was spotless, comfortable and well equipped with a lot of storage space. Dunkeld is a lovely town with good shops, restaurants and hotels and we enjoyed lovely walks along the river. The park was in an attractive setting. We would have no hesitation in recommending a stay there and would be happy to book a caravan or lodge there again."
Anne - Jan 2024
"Very disappointed. Have been visiting Erigmore for around 7 years. The lodge and facility's have significantly gone down hill. The lodge was not very clean and all furnishings significantly worn and rundown. The same Sofas and Pillows etc from 7 years ago. The price fir the lodge has also doubled with clearly no investment in the property. I would not recommend nor will I go back."
Michelle Turner - Jan 2024
"The lodge is very well appointed, and in a lovely location. minor negative points, we were four adults yet only two toilet rolls, a dishwasher but no dishwasher tablets, no toiletries soap etc and no cleaning products (not even a toilet brush). Very inconveniently we had to travel into Dunkeld yo buy the basics, toilet rolls, dishwasher tabs and bleach."
George Thomson - Jan 2024
"The lodge was great, we were provided with robes and slippers which we didn't expect. The kitchen was big and had everything you needed, also a dish washer and dish washer tabs. The side area is not fenced off so I had to nip to a shop to get some rope to tie my dog to the fence so he could be outside with us without running off"
Verified Guest - Dec 2023
"Caravan was very nice top quality..only problem was we couldn't get normal TV channels unless we signed our details in which was annoying."
Andrea - Nov 2023
"We will be back but will request different lodge"
Robbie - Nov 2023
"The surrounding were super. The site needs improvement The bed was really poor"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Located well for dog walks with a direct path on to the river. Can walk miles from here and also only a short walk to the town centre (20 mins)"
Jodie - Nov 2023
"Lodge very nice however not the cleanest. Bedrooms, wardrobes and kitchen cupboards, fridge and cooker clean however living/dining area not clean. Window ledges dirty with dead wasps lying on them. Windows extremely dirty. The floor was extremely dirty looks like it hadn't been washed in weeks. Not great with having 2 young children with us who were playing on floor. Several spiders and cobwebs throughout lodge. Lots of loose wires hanging around TV area which could have been installed better to look tidier and would be more child friendly.Only 3 wine glasses and one of those was chipped.Noticed after showering on first day that bedroom carpet was wet at bathroom door. Contacted maintenance who came quickly. Thought to be leak from shower or crack in pipe under floor but couldn't be looked at until lodge empty as carpet and floor needed lifted. Carpet more wet after each time shower used and didn't dry out. We were there for 3 nights. Park full so no alternative accommodation available.Overall we were very disappointed with the lodge. Cleaning standard needs to be improved."

"Perfect thoroughly enjoyed are stay"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"The park is a good location for exploring. The walk into Dunkeld along the river is lovely as is Dunkeld itself. Having said that, the restaurants along the river look lovely but are very expensive which was disappointing. There are lots of things to do in the area as well as further afield. Our lodge was basic but fine. On first glance it was clean but a lot of cleaning had been missed. E.g We found the grill pan full of fat. Also, we were missing some glasses. We reported this and were told wed be given a drinks voucher as an apology and someone would deliver some glasses the next day. Neither happened. We stayed for two weeks and expected someone to come and clean the lodge but when I asked we were told this wouldnt be the case. There wasnt even so much as a dust pan and brush provided for us to do our own cleaning. This isnt really acceptable for a longer stay.We ate in the restaurant one night. The food wasnt brilliant although our initial waitress was lovely. They ran out of haddock but instead provided a couple of fillets out of the freezer (not good). Also we were told to hurry up and order our deserts because the chef wanted to go home so we didnt bother! This was before 8.30pm.Generally, the location was good, the lodge was average but the customer service was poor."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Lovely lodge, private hot tub, scenic views, overall a great stay"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"The caravan was great. The bedrooms with twin beds are to small for an adult the mattresses are to narrow. I think these are fine for kids. However saying that they are comfortable and I did sleep on them."
Damian - Nov 2023
"Basic but ok"
Deb - Nov 2023
"Our caravan was clean and in good condition. Everything we required was in the caravan and the central heating was easily controlled. The single beds we found to be narrow and would have preferred one wider bed but they were comfortable just not easy to turn around in."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"There was bulbs requiring to be replaced throughout the lodge. The hot tub lid is not properly secure. And could do with gates at the sides of the lodge to keep children and pets in."
Sharon - May 2023
"the lodge was very clean and tidy, a very modern open plan lounge/kitchen with all mod cons. it was a pleasent surprise as it was a lot bigger than we expected for a 1 bedroom lodge. it also had a hot tub which was checked every day. nice size bedroom and a very comfortable bed."
Edward - Jan 1970
"Lovely private lodge. Hot tub was a bonus and much needed after some long scenic walks. Very stylish and comfortable bed. Dressing gowns and slippers supplied. Luxury stay."
Julie - Jan 1970
"We stayed in a Platinum Caravan and it was spotless.
Enclosed decking area
Comfortable beds with crisp sheets and fluffy towels.
Immaculate bathrooms with amazing shower
Lovely site which is very well kept with beautiful walks."
Denise - Jan 1970
"The restaurant was closed for several days so we had to find restaurant outside. The menu was quite good but limited. The site is well maintained and very peaceful Our caravan was very comfortable and we slept well. The site is central for sightseeing etc."
Anne - Jan 1970
"Great caravan everything you need nice outside decking"
Stephen - Jan 1970
"Overall clean but needs some attention to cobwebs on light fittings and mould around bottom of shower where the floor meets the wall.As a dog freindly lodge needs gates on pathways into garden to stop escapees. Would be lovely if there was a plug socket for laptops on the island in the kitchen and some USB sockets within lodge ."
Jayne - Jan 1970
"Lodge is stunning. The outside space & hot tub are fabulous, spacious & private, not over looked by other properties. We were lucky, the weather was generally very good so spent most of our time outside, with the lovely bifold doors wide open. The sitting area would probably feel a little snug if the weather wasnt so good. The outside space isnt secure though, which means with dogs/young children, you need to be vigilant. I mentioned this when we checked out & I was told theyre planning to fix this. The cleanliness of the lodge was good, but could have been better - several cob webs left around."
Amanda - Jan 1970
"Had a great time at the boutique lodge, lodge had everything we needed and the hot tub was great."
Lisa - Jan 1970
"2 days of disruption due to workers drilling and sawing at next lodge so could not sit out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings that I wanted to enjoy"
David - Jan 1970
"With the dog its best supplied with Mop / bucket / sweeping brush just to keep floors clean - asked for them at reception and they were delivered very quick - great mattress on the bed slept like a log"
Glen - Jan 1970
"Erigmore is a fantastic place. This was our first visit & it won't be our last. The minute we arrived the level of service & interest from the team was first class nothing was too much trouble. The bar & restaurant area was friendly, extremely welcoming & Jackson & his team were first class. We ate in the restaurant three evenings & the food was excellent."
Rosalind - Jul 2022
"Fabulous in every way. Our caravan was total luxury. Could have done with few more trees planted in front of our caravan, as our view from it was work yard. But in no way did it spoil things, it’s just a suggestion."
Christine - May 2022
"Picture on website was nothing like the lodge we stayed in. However lodge was nice but we had two main issues, worst being that the French doors did not lock securely. Secondly, there was an overall lack of attention to detail, curtains not hung properly, blinds hanging down on one side, light switches and door frames dirty, so early in the season too. There was no instructions on how to use sound system or fire. Staff on site were very helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant was ok, menu limited but probably a leftover from Covid. Salmon was undercooked one day. It's in a perfect position for exploring the area and Dunkeld was a thriving village."
Linda - May 2022
"We had a lovely 4 night stay. We were greeted by a kind member of staff at the main house who also gave us a courtesy call to make sure everything was okay with our accommodation. We asked for a broom and mop which was brought by a staff member the next day. Gorgeous walks right on our doorstep. Really impressed with all the mod cons available in the kitchen and only lacked a tin opener"
Verified Guest - Mar 2022
"Lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. So many things to do locally. The caravan ideal for our needs and the bed was extra comfy! We will be returning! We didn’t use the facilities on site so can’t comment"
Davan - Mar 2022
"Beautiful site and caravan was excellent Very clean and had everything we needed for our short break"
Margaret - Mar 2022
"Great lodge and hot tub staff were very nice and friendly nice place and places to visit"
Carlyn - Feb 2022
"My partner and I had such a lovely time, private set in great surroundings with all the necessary home comforts and the hot tub, all in all I would recommend this place as a wonderful base to explore some of Scotland’s under promoted gems or just to escape into the privacy of your own company."
Andrew - Feb 2022
"Erigmore is a beautiful place to stay. Unfortunately we tested positive for covid during our stay so spent 4 out of 3 days in the caravan. The caravan was fabulous and everything we needed. Would love to go back and discover more of the area. Definitely a great place to visit."
Lynne - Jan 2022
"Lovely place, bar needs to be dog friendly"
Jill - Nov 2021
"Great place to stay and lots to see in surrounding area. Cabin dog friendly with Hot Tub was excellent all you need for a great holiday."
Glen - Nov 2021
"Our Spa lodge 1 with hot tub was absolutely stunning, really modern and comfortable too. Hot tub was well maintained on daily basis. In beautiful surroundings and very close to the main building. Even had red squirrels coming to the balcony to visit daily. All the staff were lovely but seemed to be under a lot of pressure but were always courteous and never let it affect our service. A few wee easy things that would things even better. Within the lodge, the nest of tables and lovely glass table were gorgeous but there were no coasters or table mats to protect these. Also oven gloves, tea towel and an initial small supply of hand soap would have been nice touch. These things were very small but are easy to rectify. All in all, we had an amazing time and will def be back."
