"The lodge is very comfortable, but certain items need upgrading. Both the showers need looking at, the base cupboard under sink in main bedroom needs replacing. There is some skirting missing in main bedroom and the mattress needs replacing.The fire in lounge has no remote and although it can be used there is nothing to show you how, we had the maintenance man show us how to use it."

"A few of the cabinets had dropped so had to lift them to close but coped with this by not using all of them. A loose handle on the door leading to one of the bathrooms. The odd cobweb around the lounge but not enough to worry about. A little bit of updating the decor around the Lodge needed but this did not affect our holiday. We'd definitely stay again though."

"The Country Plus is a spacious lodge with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen has a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is an ironing board and iron and an airer. The lounge had three two seater sofas so not on top of each other. The hot tub was always lovely and warm so was used in the rain and in the evening. Wonderful view from our decking."

"Very tired and low seating unsuitable for older guests with mobility issues.The kettle on/off switch had to be held down to stay on.Very comfortable beds"

"Furniture a little dated and not particularly comfortable.Beds were VERY 'firm' and again not that comfortable.Bathroom and toilet could do with some TLC.Just a few observations that could improve things significantly.Overall, very satisfied with the lodge and the site."

"Lodge was i think about 12 / 13 years old. Had been refurbished in last year or so i guess. Very clean. Smart looking interior. Great welcome pack. Only down side as far as i was concerned was bed was too soft for my liking & lovely bedroom curtains let sunlight in at 5am which woke me up.First time i have had a Colotado lodge but would happily book one again."

"The bed was a bit soft for my liking, but that might be personal choice. One of the sofas was losing some of it's comfort but other than that the lodge was very good."

"Richmond is one of my favourite lodges to stay in. Located with a beautiful view. Watching the sunset was magical in the evenings."

"We were there from Friday-Monday. We were 2 adults with 3 kids (9, 4, 2). Honestly we had an amazing time. The caravan was spotless, sparkling clean and smelling fresh when we arrived. The check in and check out process was very simple, we had no issues. Staff are very helpful and friendly, and very happy to help out with anything you need. The whole park is clean and not a site of rubbish anywhere. Its absolutely beautiful, specially the view. The facilities for families are amazing and we had an amazing time. We would definitely be coming back! Thank youThe Montana caravan is truly beautiful and very well kept. We absolutely had an amazing time!"

"The lodge is spacious and well fitted, the view beautiful. We would recommend more cups, plates than one per person as you have supplied a dishwasher but we had to wash after every meal because there was not enough crockery!!"

"Lovely spacious lodge, spotlessly clean, excellent views when good weather, lodge has everything you need,all kitchen items and plenty of baking trays and even oven gloves and table mats unlike the majority of lodges we have stayed in.The little extras like a few tea/coffee bits and even some biscuits!As we stayed at New year there was even a little Christmas tree up and decorated and the table layed out with crackers,party poppers and serviettes, and a box of chocolates.Perfect."

"We had an amazing holiday! When we first arrived we were greeted by amazing reception staff who helped us find our lodge. The lodge itself was very modern, clean and welcoming. Fully stocked with kitchen utensils/ equipment and a few essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, washing sponges etc, All bedrooms were clean and well presented with fresh towels for the beautiful bathrooms, it was a nice touch having accessible bath mats for the showers as they can be slippery for younger guests. Netflix and YouTube were a good bonus and kept our sim very entertained. Perfect for long stays! Our hot tub was cleaned on our day of arrival and was very easy to use it was definitely a highlight for our holiday! The food in the restaurant was always made fresh and well presented, good prices too! Staff everywhere were super helpful and friendly. Only note would be more veggies available would be good!Small shop at reception to stock up on food/ essentials you may have missed all local which was a nice touch. My son loved purchasing the fish food and feeding the fish!Small soft area indoors and outdoors for children so is great for both weathers. My husband and I both went to the spa where we both had a back, neck and shoulder massage which was lovely and very reasonably priced. Sauna was lovely and hot, pool space for children. Unfortunately steam room was shut so cant mention that. Only downside was we went to go swimming but werent told that between 1-2pm its adult only which would have been helpful to know beforehand.Overall lovely stay here and would definitely go again!"

"Home from home comfort, comfortable accommodation. Good kitchen facilities with fridge and freezer. Our lodge was in a very private setting not overlooked and was able to use the hot tub and see the shooting stars. Perfect break for my birthday."

"Beautiful location, great staff. Overall brilliant. Its why we keep returning. Our only criticism this stay was there was two small "sofa's" which were really very small, given its a cabin for four people. There also no cushions, so one person was sitting on the floor with out even a cushion. But over all still our go to place."

"We spent the time as a spa retreat and the staff at the spa were fantastic. The swimming pool and gym facilities were clean and staff were friendly. We liked the takeaway deliver to your lodge service. The food was excellent. The views over to the South Downs and across to the sea were beautiful."

"We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lodges, lovely view, very friendly and helpful staff and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. The swimming pool was really good and as a non-swimmer I found the steps, bars and shallow water very helpful."

"Crowhurst is a beautiful peaceful place to stay, this was our second visit and we enjoyed it. But there were a couple of little things we thought they could of done to make the say a little better. Some comfortable soft furniture on the deck for relaxing in would have been nice, instead of the hard ridged chairs that are there. Also some sort of sun shade/large umbrella that could be used to give you some shade while in the hot tub. Our tub was in direct sunlight all day till sunset."

"Everyone very helpful, holiday was good. Pool very good. Childrens playground was a little difficult being on steep slope. Enjoyed our time there."

"Our second visit. Such a lovely place. Accomodation is great and the staff are exceptional. So friendly and helpful. Pool is superb and the grounds are kept immaculate. 15 mins to the town centre and lovely beaches. Great family park."
