"A lovely little lodge in a lovely location! To hear the sound of the waves crashing whilst chilling in the hot tub was magical.The lodge is cosy but had everything we needed, parking is tight but there was still space! Only downside was places being closed as we went out of season but it still didnt stop anything we wanted to do!"

"Cairnwood offers adequate space & it has been maintained to a high standard so it looks as nice as when I first visited almost 10 years ago. The views are gorgeous & it is a stones throw from the most lovely little beach. There is everything you need in the accommodation & thanks to amazing staff, changes have been made over the years to make it even better such as addition of a microwave & replacing items with things of equal quality so it never looks old or tired. Perfect in every way :)"

"We love coming here every year.When approached the staff are great, however we found difficulty when trying to make contact when we encountered a problem as office was closed and no option to leave a message on the phone when we rang.Mirror in bathroom looks damaged/worn, which makes the bathroom look shabby.Booked to stay again already in 2025 and really looking forward to visiting again."

"The apartment had everything we needed and with a spectacular view of the bay. Local amenities were good with a large Tesco nearby. Well placed for access by car to lots of interesting locations such as Lynton & Lynmouth and for those fancying a bit of surfing Woolacombe 20 mins away.Only bit that needs improving would be a bit of updating on the some of the fixtures as we did have some window locks that did not work properly, but overall clean and tidy."

"Requires tlc and new furniture, living room cabinet well past sell by date , sofa ripped, paint and sealant required in lots of the unit, bathroom cabinet well past its sell by date, mirror in bathroom where it meets sink grubby and ot sealed.High level cleaning wouldntgo a miss..Not for anyone with mobility problems or like taking clothes on holiday as no where to store clothes. Really enjoyed the location and hot tube, would definitely not pay high season prices, as the unit is looking and feels shabby. After all said it did not distract from having a great holiday, dueto the great location."

"We had a lovely week, accommodation is lovely, a small and cosy space. there is no wardrobe/storage space however this is clear in pictures etc but would be a nice addition is space wasnt an issue.The hot tub was nice, very private, we had no issues with this and the patio furniture was nice. We were lucky to have the weather to sit outside a few times in our stay! It would be nice if the frosted glass stickers could be replaced as these are starting to looking a little worn."

"We had a fabulous 5 days staying in this cute beach hut. Very comfy cosy. Clean and nicely decorated. Everything you need for a few nights away. Very well equipped. Beautiful views of the cove and out to sea. Very hilly! Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked last minute so price was very low. We will definitely be coming back."

"Only issue we had was that we were aware our lodge would be small, however the bathroom was never shown in the photos online so we werent aware how small the shower would be, may be worth putting a small shelf in as picking items up off the floor was challenging in the space.Despite this we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend to others."

"Lovely 4 night stay for two of us and our dog. The beach house had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. We were lucky to have a partial sea view to the cove of Hele Bay. Great location for Woolacombe beach walks and other beaches.Would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely setting with sea views directly above the beach. Comfortable large bed in superior sea view room. Good shower and kitchen facilities. Hot tub was great and checked daily. Close to local facilities.
Improvements: WiFi patchy and TV tuning settings locked with very few channels available on free view.
Overall we loved it and will be back!"

"We had a brilliant time! It was in a perfect location with the pub basically next door. It was a very short stroll down to the closest beach and we could see the sea from the hot tub. It was approximately 1.5 miles into the centre of Ilfracombe, so that was very convenient for a more vibrant day out too. Adorable thatched roof pub on the way to Ilfracombe there too! ? some fab restaurants/takeaways nearby. Shoutout to Hele’s Kitchen who gave us a free cake!"
