Sandaway Beach Holiday Park Reviews

"Caravan was comfortable and had all amenities The only drawback was that the bed was not made that is down to you to make the sheets and pillowcases are just left on the side"
David - Sep 2024
"WORSET CARAVAN IVE EVER STAYED IN"
Stuart Ackerley - Sep 2024
"Caravan was clean to the eye but my husband dropped something that went under the sofa in living area and it was very dirty and dusty. we found a dummy - not ours. And this wasnt far from the edge."
Verified Guest - Aug 2024
"Great place to stay"
Belinda - Aug 2024
"The caravan needed updating and was dirty. Scss were stained and dirty , dusty and full of conwebs. Under beds hadnt been cleaned in a while as dirty socks and rubbish under the single beds."
Gemma - Jul 2024
"Nice caravan, great view"
Francis - Jul 2024
"Excellent accommodation, I would not recommend the breakfast back as it was frozen Richmond sausages but apart from that it was really good even had a dish washer"
Verified Guest - Jul 2024
"Caravan good but cooker was a bit hit and miss , 1 ring on the hob and the grill didn't work."
Joanna - Jul 2024
"Caravan had plenty of lounge space, but bathroom very tight, and doors to bathroom and bedrooms all open onto each other, in a very confined space. Caravan designers need to improve their layouts."
Gillian - Jul 2024
"For a bronze caravan we were extremely suprised with how clean and comfy the caravan was. We had an amazing view where we watched the sun set every night. For 7 nights we paid peanuts! We cannot wait to return. We did not want to leave."
Verified Guest - Jun 2024
"Nice caravan, excellent value for money"
Wendy - Jun 2024
"Lovely location. friendly staff and good shop and facilities"
Verified Guest - Jun 2024
"excellent holiday"
Verified Guest - May 2024
"Very poor as discussed previously.Toilets in reception very dirty, paddling in ?Water. Plastic cups for wine if sitting outside - you can walk from the shop with bottles which can break so wasn't logical!Ideal site for parties and those who don't mind a lot of noise."
Joanne - May 2024
"Nice compact chalet. Lovely position ,great sea veiw.Had everything you needed for a comfortable break/"
Mandy - Apr 2024
"Caravan was a dated but almost expected that because we took our 2 dogs. We had a fantastic view from our caravan no57. The steps to the caravan were not very steady. We had a fabulous time weather fantastic and beautiful places to visit"
Susan - Apr 2024
"7 year old van in need of a deep clean. Great facilities, dishwasher was a bonus. Otherwise, very comfortable, with an epic view."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Lovely site, dog friendly, but couldnt use facilities with dog, so not really dog friendly.also van not cleaned at all chips in oven ,sweets sticky lollipops and chocolate on furniture, toilet and shower disgusting, cleaned up myself ,rather than bother anyone"
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Great site and location. Modern well-fitted out caravan. Staff were super friendly and helpful"
Roo - Mar 2024
"Caravan was tird and in need of repairs."
Louise - Nov 2023
"Fantastic place fantastic views, caravan could have been cleaner as dog hair everywhere and no laundrette but apart from that fantastic!!"
Rebekah - Nov 2023
"Would have liked a mop and a bench in the sun as we were lucky to have it but where the benches were it was shaded"
Samantha - Nov 2023
"The Gold Caravan was lovely and modern with all the home comforts to make your stay so much more relaxing. Full size cooker & fridge freezer with microwave and dishwasher made cooking & cleaning a joy whilst enjoying the fantastic view of the sea and rocky coastline. I'm 6' 3" so bed was a little small but still comfortable. TV with plenty of channels for the nights we stayed in and chilled."
David - Nov 2023
"Awful! We found broken dried pasta pieces in the third cereal bowl down in the kitchen cupboard. A dirty pair of childen's knickers under one of the single beds & a sock under the other (we disposed of both of these)! There are cheese biscuits, food crumbs & a small rubber ball under the pull out sofa in the living area. The seating in the living area is absolutely filthy - have housekeeping at Sandaway Beach not heard of fast drying upholstery cleaner? Dusty radiators & fireplace & not great under the storage area of the lift up double bed either. The bathroom door is broken so you could not shut it, let alone lock it.During our stay we found other feedback left for this park which shows this to be an ongoing issue that sadly never seems to get resolved & because of this we saw no point in addressing it at the time. Needless to say a lesson learnt, check ALL feedback sites! My wife has worked in both housekeeping & hospitality sectors & can honestly say she has never witnessed such a slovenly attitude towards what is simply basic housekeeping. There is obviously no supervision in place let alone spot checks which should be standard practice!"
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"The surroundings are beautiful and picturesque."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"We had a super family mini break overall. The staff were happy to help in any way they could. A couple of the bedroom doors were difficult to close and the handle of the main bedroom door had come loose but saying that didn't effect our holiday at all."
Natalie - Nov 2023
"Great location, the staff very helpful, Great holiday all round ?"
Gerald - Aug 2022
"Lovely park, excellent location. Only fault i have is that the back of the sofas need to be cleaned a bit better as there was an empty crisppacket and bits of food"
Craig - Aug 2022
"A very nice holiday in a very good location. We would consider coming here again"
Lee - Jul 2022
"We didn’t use the facilities on the site but the accommodation and site location were brilliant"
Jane - Jul 2022
"Beautiful location, fab caravan exceptionally clean. Only negative comments are more seating required around pool & few more amusement machines for children. In you sister site there were far more amusements for children."
Beverley - Jul 2022
"Stunning views, clean and comfortable accommodation. The pool was warm, food and drinks on site were reasonably priced."
Zara - Jul 2022
"Perfect place for holiday. Perfect staff."
Sergejs - Jul 2022
"Would defines go again"
Verified Guest - Jul 2022
"Excellent location, good on site food at a value price. Caravan very clean with all you need . I would visit again . Thank you"
Stewart - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely holiday. Staff was great. Accommodation was really clean, new and modern. Kids loved the pool and park. The bar/restaurant are really handy and food is tasty too. Would definitely return"
Felicity - Jul 2022
"Beautiful location , caravan clean and modern and only a short walk from the beach, mermaid cove and 10 mins to Combe Martin beach and town . Obviously a lot of hills but that’s Devon . Will definitely come back to this site"
Catherine - Jul 2022
"Fantastic holiday lovely site and facilities"
