An amazing cottage, ideal location to access local beaches, pubs and Exmoor. Our hosts ensured everything was in place before our arrival. It was refreshing to find a property as described, especially the garden being secure for our dog. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful lodge the bed was very comfy the owners are very helpful if you get any problems , the hot tub is lovely after a day exploring the area Devon is beautiful. Our border collie loved his colliebobs , saunton sands is dog friendly all year round if you have a dog well worth a visit. The garden is safe & secure for your dog. Very well placed for the beach , modern interior very clean and light , well equipped, quiet and very secure dog friendly garden, the hot tub is easy to use with robes and slippers and towels provided, just sit back and relax.

This is a secluded and private cottage. The hosts were excellent as were the facilities. The garden was secure as such we let our terriers have the run of outside. Lots of hot water. A ten minute drive to the beach. A gem to be revisited.

Our week long stay at Hartnolls Lodge was fantastic. Great location as was near some super beaches and a two minute walk to the Tarka Trail. This was our 2nd visit to Hartnolls Lodge. Our dog, my wife & I love it here. Lovely remote location which is a 5 minute drive from the beach & all the amenities you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing week away here & hope to stay again in the future.

First, thank you for being a dog friendly holiday accommodation as its meant that Ive finally visited Woolacombe - and loved it! Perfect accommodation for two adults and our 2 springers. Great to have control of the heating and the lodge really holds in the heat so we barely used it. Hot tub was amazing. Ideal for visiting Woolacombe Bay and SauntoRead moren Sands. Id recommend trying Putsborough Beach Cafe, The Beachcomber Cafe, The Red Barn and The Old Mill Pub. We will definitely visit again. Hide

Loved our stay here. The lodge is cozy and clean and has everything you need . Very private garden with decking and a fantastic hot tub . You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into making it homely and practical. The pub down the road is friendly and welcoming. The lodge was clean, comfortable and well equipped, the shower is great and the hot tub was lovely after long walks on the nearby stunning beach. The fenced off secure garden was great for the dog.

Very well appointed Lodge. Great hot tub ( very welcome after a days walking). If you did want a night out then taxis very easy to get. Location is good to allow for days out to different parts of the North Coast. Would happily stay again.

We enjoyed out stay and the use of the hot tab at the end of the day following our sightseeing and no problem for our dog about escaping the garden as mentioned on some earlier reviews. All in all a nice place to stay.

What a fantastic week we had here with our 2 doggies. The location of the lodge is absolutely brilliant as it's only a short drive to the most stunning beach which is all dog friendly. But after being on the beach most days coming back to the lodge which has been done to a really high standard was just perfect. The lodge had everything we needed an d more! The best bits for us was the hot tub and secure garden for our dogs. Would definitely recommend and we will book again for the future.

Spent a fabulous week here in late May/early June. It was exactly what we were looking for (and hoping it would be) for week near the sea and some perfect weather didn't hurt either. 5 minutes from one of the UK's best beaches but far enough away for some peace and quiet, easy to go a little further afield if the mood takes and a sensational hot tu b to come back to when you're ready to relax. People probably say this a lot, but we will book this property again. Loved it.

The lodge was spotless and has been built to a very high specification. Its equipped with everything you need including dish washer and washer/dryer. Nice self contained garden and great hot tub which was always hot and ready for use. Comfy bedroom, good kitchen/living space and a nice bathroom with great shower. Good location just five minutes dri ve from Woolacombe beach and about 15 minutes drive from Croyde.

We had a wonderful weeks stay in this property. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the welcome tray of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was a lovely touch and very much appreciated after a long drive. The property has everything you need and is well equipped. The property is nicely furnished and decorated. The bed was comfortable and a good size. It is in a nice quiet location in the owner's grounds but still maintains it's privacy. The hottub was lovely and relaxing after a long day walking.

Great little lodge. Well located & well equipped. Received a lovely welcome package when we arrived. Hot tub in the evenings was amazing. Wifi is perfect. Smart TV with Netflix, Prime, Youtube etc. Fridge freezer great size. Parking is perfect. 100% recommend booking if youre considering it.

Amazing accommodation in a great location. Easy to get around and some amazing walks literally on the doorstep. Property was clean and some lovely surprises on arrival, thanks for the tea bags we had definitely forgotten ours! Well equipped and has everything you need and if not friendly hosts who are just next door!

The location was good for exploring most of the area. The garden was not dog secure for an active young dog tempted to explore what is beyond the small outside space. Easy to find a way through the hedge to the narrow lanes just outside with fast traffic. The basic provisions expected such as salt in the salt mill, kitchen tissues, extra toilet pap er and microwave containers werent available. A little more attention to detail would have made it a more relaxed and comfortable stay.

Our stay at Hartnolls Lodge was the most relaxing we have had, its location was away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to Woolacoombe to be able pop down and enjoy the evening sun. The lodge its self is finished to a very high specification, and after a long day walking, the hot tub was a perfect way to finish the day. I would certain ly recommend Hartnolls Lodge to family and friends at it is certainly one of the best we have stayed at. A big thank you to Paul and Catherine.

Loved this cottage with the added advantage of a lovely hot tub. The location is perfect, as it is very quiet but within easy reach of all amenities. The garden is perfect for the dogs being fully enclosed and there are plenty of places to go close by. Lovely hosts and welcome treats. Hope to be back again soon.

My wife, dog & I all thoroughly enjoyed our week at Hartnolls Lodge. The Lodge itself is brilliantly equipped with an amazing shower, comfy bed, brilliant hot tub, lovely garden & outdoor decking. The beach, which we frequented almost daily, is a 5 minute drive away also. We would 100% recommend Hartnolls Lodge to any couples who are looking to get away with their dog for a relaxing stay near the beach.
