From the park there is a walkway which will take you to the village of Newton under Roseberry where you can access paths to the stunning Roseberry Topping and perhaps follow the ridge along to Captain Cooks Monument.
The nearby village of Great Ayton with its river running through it offers visitors a host of small shops, cafes and bars, not to mention a stunning local ice cream shop. The market town Guisborough is also nearby with its bustling shops and bars. For guests wanting to head further afield the beautiful coastal town of Whitby is only 20 miles away with its abbey and strong connections to Dracula, or perhaps visit the home of Heartbeat and explore the Yorkshire Moors.
Directly opposite the park is a superb local pub that serves great food and local beers, this really is the perfect destination and base for exploring this wonderful part of North Yorkshire.
