Beautiful barn conversation with bags of character, and lots of exposed historic roof and post timbers. Cosy feel especially with the lovely underfloor heating. Patio area was great, and the hot tub was brilliant after a long day out walking the dogs, with footpaths either a short walk into Thaxted or around the fields. Plenty of safe grassy areas Read morearound the cottage for the dogs as well. Sharon and Rob were very friendly. We'd thoroughly recommend. Hide

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage is in a great location - there are so many great walks. The cottage was really clean and the owners have thought of everything. The outside space was fully enclosed so our cockapoo could be left outside unattended. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

We have just returned from our stay at Goddard's Mead with my husband and two dogs. It was 4 nights of staying in a blissful sanctuary. We met the lovely animals on farm and the most friendly resident pup! The whole cottage provides a warm and welcoming environment. Really well equipped house, lovely and warm too which was so nice on a rainy December day! Bath was just lovely and a nice big shower! The property is under a flight path - this did not disturb us at all! Dont be put off! A great location for dogs who hate fireworks as it's in the middle of nowhere. Really beautiful, well converted property. Thank you!
Andrew - Dec 2022
It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!
